Miami, Florida–David Ranck has been a Miami-Dade County prosecutor for nearly 30 blissful turbulent years. Back in 2005, he was disciplined for cussing out a defense lawyer during a murder case…a mistrial was declared and the accused killer was freed by an appeals court earlier this year. Last August, he filed a lawsuit against his ‘higher-ups’ claiming he was unfairly suspended without pay for 30 days after he posted an internal memo on a legal blog. And what, pray tell, landed him here? Well, he’s here because he’s accused of slugging a pizza delivery woman.

evening. When Yudisceus Rodriguez de Armas arrived at Ranck’s home to deliver his pizza, she encountered a locked gate. She called Ranck to explain that she couldn’t get through. Ranck appeared on his balcony and began yelling at her. Armas told police that she speaks Spanish and didn’t understand what Ranck was saying. Ranck, pissed because his pizza was late, stormed downstairs, still yelling, knocked Armas’ visor off of her head, and punched her in the arm leaving a mark.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Armas sitting in her car, shaking and crying. Ranck was standing nearby. He admitted to punching the woman on the arm, but said she started it. Ranck claims the woman hit him with her cell phone and, when he stepped in front of her car, she accelerated forward, tapping his thigh. Police said the physical evidence did not support Ranck’s story. The bruise on the woman’s arm, however, did support her story. David Ranck was not taken to jail. He was charged with misdemeanor battery and signed papers promising to appear in court. Hehhh…last time I punched someone, I was loaned some shiny new jewelry and escorted to a holding cell. Ranck’s attorney declined to comment on the incident, but did make it a point to mention that Ranck never received his pizza.

BACK TO BASICS…HOW the hell can she give you the freakin pizza if the gate is locked and you are too freaking lazy to come down off your high-horse- uh, BALCONY to get the damn thing??????????? Sorry excuse for a human being. Apparently the cops have heard about him or been there before–If I were her, I would “lawyer up”. Sadly, she probably doesn’t know to.
