Looks like more and more of them won’t have to worry about that. Their inability to handle life situations and disappointments as “children” is already landing them in jail/prison – some for life. Kinda like a twisted version of “Natural Selection.” I just hate that innocent people have to suffer in order to discover who’s too weak/corrupted/damaged/dysfunctional/etc… to cut it in this world.

FALMOUTH, Mass. — Authorities said an angry Massachusetts teen kicked his mother in the throat, head-butted his brother and punched and bit his father after his mom took away his cell phone to punish him.

The Cape Cod Times reported that Brandon Turner pleaded not guilty in Falmouth District Court on Thursday to charges that include assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Police said his mother took away his cell phone after he hit his 15-year-old brother Tuesday. The next day, an angry Turner attacked members of his family.

The father, a corrections officer, had to use handcuffs to subdue his 18-year-old son. Police were forced to use leg shackles to get him under control.

He was held on $1,000 bail.

It was not immediately clear if Turner has legal representation.

when i read, the reasoning my first thought was mom was coming home to surprise the 18 yr old soon to be graduated with his gift. Breaks my heart she would of stooped to buy the gun and before she could present it. That is what she came home to.

Leaving a toddler with teenage boys – hmmm Not a good idea – One thing I don’t have to worry about, Thank God! My children are grown, (I trusted my 14 – 16 year old with my 8 year old son, now thinking I was blessed all went well) has times changed that much… geeeesh nothing is safe… back to my modo… If you want it done right, do it yourself.

Though Keith Randulich told police he slit his 4-year-old half sister’s throat after failing to get a gun he could use to kill someone he believed was molesting the girl, authorities say there was no sign Sabrina Clement was the victim of sexual abuse.

Will County Coroner Patrick O’Neil, whose office performed an autopsy on Sabrina, said Monday there was no evidence she was molested.

Randulich …got a firearm owners I.D. card and asked his mother to buy him a gun, according to the affidavit.

When she refused, they argued, so she left her 16-year-old son in charge of the little girl while she and her husband went to her 14-year-old son’s school, the affidavit continued.

Randulich said the person he believed was abusing his sister was too big to kill without a gun, the affidavit said, so he decided to slit his sister’s neck. He called 911, saying he “murdered his sister with a knife,” the affidavit said.

Mokena police Cmdr. Dan Rankovich said he could not say if details Randulich told police were credible. The investigation could wrap up this week, he said. Randulich is due in court July 20.

One of the items seized (listed at link) was a book titled “Children at Risk: What You Need to Know to Protect Your Child”.

In a statement allegedly given to police, Randulich said he took his sister to the basement, then cut her throat with a steak knife and stabbed her. He told police he killed her a few hours after an argument with his mother, who had refused to buy him a gun

I mean, this story is awfully convenient… and if this is the first we’re hearing of it, it was probably concocted well after the arrest.

Either this kid is lying or he is schizo and really believes that the girl was being abused and this was the only way to save her.

If he honestly believed someone was abusing her the easiest thing to do would be to tell someone who would investigate.
