Wheeling, West Virginia -  I never have liked clowns. I always found them to be creepy. They wait for you to go to sleep at night, then eat you. I don’t have much use for drunks either, especially behind the wheel. You might call Patricia Ingalls the drunken hit and run clown.

Patricia Ingalls

Patricia Ingalls

Ingalls, a clown for 17 years, was in full clown costume and on her way to work a gig at the Ogden 20K Race. Anxious to get to work blowing up balloons and whatever other things creepy clowns do, she got in an accident with another vehicle and decided to haul ass. Imagine the horror as police arrived and arrested her in front of the kiddies. They kids clung to her and begged them not to take the clown away. Actually the true horror is her clown makeup. Down at the station, the drunken clown blew a .252, more than three times the legal limit.

Ingalls spoke out after her arrest to say she was sorry the kids witnessed her being taken into custody. “I’m not allowed to drink in costume and I should have never went because I was too upset,” said Ingalls. However, she denies she was drunk at the time of the accident. Did I mention that I don’t like clowns? Bah!

    It’s kinda like riding a bike….
Ok, it’s nothing like riding a bike.

As far as Ingall’s is concerned, I’d rather see the woman with clown make-up. She’s scarier without it…yikes!

I hate freakin’ clowns, too! Great story, UC! Glad to see ya back on the FP! I wonder what her professional clown name is? Tipsy?

I have always thought that for every clown, there were a set of disappointed parents. I am not scared of clowns, I just do not like them. No one should be that happy. Or want to make people that happy, for that matter. It’s like taking the term “trying to hard” and throwing a colorful wig, makeup and stupid shoes on it. I do dig evil clowns, though. Except for ICP.

Good to see you back, UC.

I watched IT alone one night, and then had to drive to the airport to pick someone up.  On my way there, I was being tailgated by someone.  I was pretty pissed because I was on my way to IAH and I was on the tollway going 90 mph…which is the normal speed for the tollway by the way.  So I looked into my rear view mirror to see who the fucker was and it was a CLOWN in full costume.  I nearly pissed my pants.

Also, when my child turned 3, I hired a face painter and balloon guy to entertain at her party.  I told them, light to NO makeup so they would not scare the kids.  But the truth was, I was the one that didn’t want to be scared.

    I hate clowns.

I have always thought that for every clown, there were a set of disappointed parents.  – Now that’s funny! :)

What’s not funny is the idiot bitch.  First of all drunk driving and secondly she probably scared some kids for life.  That is just messed up.

Great intro UC!  I was painfully afraid of clown creeping in on me while I was sleeping.

The first person that I had to boot off of my “Tagged” friends’ list was a clown in real-life… crazy bitches, all of ‘em!

They ought to make all clowns play that lighter fluid “Tag” game , Thats about the only time I would think they were funny , running around on fire.  Ok  rodeo clown are funny but only because they have a big ass bull chaseing them.  One slip and they have a horn in them.

Well, at least the lady clown didn’t actually run over one of the KIDS and then take off!  Has anyone seen that Altman film Short Cuts?
