Lake City, FL- It’s difficult to find babysitters you can trust nowadays, especially if you have four small children like Joseph Brenton and Christina Ramirez. These two geniuses must have not known anyone they could trust to watch their precious wee-ones while they went out because they left them home alone inside a locked room.

A neighbor notified authorities on SaturdaySaturday reviews
that Brenton and Ramirez had left three of their children, ages 2, 5, and 7, home alone. The officers found the children padlocked in a room with no air conditioning. They said the living conditions were unsanitary and there was no food in the house. The officers also noticed signs of abuse on the children and when they asked the children how they got the injuries, one child said, “Daddy hit me because I was being bad.”
Joseph Brenton, 28, and Christina Ramirez, 22, were arrested without incident when they came home and charged with aggravated child abuse. All of the children, including the 1-year-old that was with the parents, were placed in the custody of the DCF.

Selfish Selfish pieces of GARBAGE… Did they want to go out and Party??? Well listen up readers, parents of all…. When you decide to lay down and get laid without protection and have children.. Then and only then are they your prize possessions so parents should TREAT their children as so…. Your days of going out are over unless you hire a babysitter or ask someone, like family to watch your children….
They are no good and made for each other how could you just lock kids up and leave???? THis will boggle my Mind forever .. I hope they never get their children back and they go to a loving family who will not beat them or lock them up

I don’t even feel comfortable leaving 2 of my children in the living room when I go to the bathroom! I can’t imagine leaving them at home, locked in a room…a dirty, hot room at that.
I am a new commenter here but have been visiting for a few weeks now. I love that I’m not the only person who feels the same way about these people. You’ll probably be hearing a lot from me from now on. Apologies ahead of time if I say anything stupid.

I ask because I have a husband who has had 4 back surgeries….including two fusions. Fun, fun!

I have not been to the bathroom by myself in 26 years.
What makes these selfish assholes think they can get time
out?
If one of my children needs me I am available or make damn sure
a responsible adult is available. When our adult children were
small we simply worked rotating shifts so their Dad or I was home
at all times. On the rare occasion we went somewhere without
them we had reliable and responsible (albeit broke…why they agreed to babysit 4 small kids LOL) friends.
These (parents) need to just turn in the Mommy & Daddy cards. Because the world is screwed up enough with out children being raised by complete
dumbass child abusing trash.

Classy picture on her MySpace of a “glow stick” party. There is a couple – the girl is getting a back rub and there’s a little boy sitting on the couch behind them. Looks like most (if not all) of the people there are rolling – nice fucking environment to put your kids in!!!

Haha…actually its just an old song lyric. Although physically I’m recovering from a yucky c-section. Good to know that I’m in good company with some of my stupid rants sometimes.
And as a side note…I was 18 years old when I had my oldest daughter. Definitely slightly better than being 15, but I am 24-years old and have 4 children. I don’t think age has anything to do with it. I would NEVER leave my children alone…EVER. I have a hard time even leaving them with my older sister. Even though this is one of the lesser sickening stories I’ve read, it still makes me want to punch someone.

Hello all, this may not be the best first comment to make on this site but I’m gonna go ahead anyway:
I looked at the mom’s myspace pages. No, the home they are living in isn’t perfect. They are clearly poor. However, I have to say, the dad is hugging and holding his kids in every single picture he’s seen in with them. The mother clearly really loves her kids too.
Was it OK to leave their kids home alone? Hell NO. Not in any way, shape or form. But this to me is not as bad as other stories where kids are harshly abused/tortured at the hands of their parents. These kids really look loved and happy.
Waiting for more information on this case before I condemn (and I will be the first one to say I’m wrong if I am). Very huge error in judgment on both parents’ part leaving the kids home alone, needless to say. But child abuse? I’m wondering what the ‘evidence’ was regarding the marks on the body.

Pad locked in small room, u apparently didnt watch the utube video 90 -Ninety degree outside inside a trailer would easily exceed that. trailers cars, kids die in them rather quickly. No Ac not even a fan, Yes there were injuries. Tragic Error.

I can tell you that joe is a very abusive person…how i know this is b/c my sister has 2 kids by him. which he dont see…anyways..he used to beat up on my sister and was a theif. and as for christina…well her and my sister used to be best friends when they were in school….and she got with joe after she left joe for all the abuse…and christina was married to the 3 young kids dad alex, was his name..alex was a great father and she left him for joe, BIG MISTAKE!!! anyways i dont understand why chrissy would do this, but she was also abused by joe, he even broke her wrist couse she told him thaT MY SISTER GOT REMARRIED. he didnt like that…anyways i guess she was in her own prison with him….and she was stupid for staying with him…she could have left the same way my sister did. thats her own fault. theres so much more to say…but ill just leave it to that! i hope they both stay locked up for a LONG TIME!!!!! ill NEVER forgive you chrissy for this!!!!!

wow i am in such shock.. i cant believe christina would of ever done this too her c hildren.. how wrong.. so many things could of happened and ended their childrens life.. i knew her when she was younger and i am very disappointed in her.. children are a gift from god for us to watch over not leave alone.. as they say everything happens for a reason.. and god was looking over these children and has now put them in a safer place.. and as for the comment about the pool i dont even think it was their pool it looked like it was at his moms house where his other two children live.. i dont know what else to say at this time but i will be praying for the children.. children of that age should never be left alone.. and i would never leave my children with joe from some of the things i have heard about him.. u live n learn..

omg this is horrible! they both deserve to be made infertile. i love how his profession is a “pool installer” and they have them kids in that nasty ass pool.
