Tippecanoe Superior Court jury on Friday convicted a Lafayette man accused of causing severe head injuries that killed his girlfriend's 3-year-old daughter.

Thomas A. Dexter, 31, faces 20 to 50 years in prison for neglect of a dependent causing death, a Class A felony.
