Dennis Morgan Knows How to Ruin a Birthday

Columbia, South Carolina – Ashley Anderson was standing in her parking lot with her 2 year old son chatting with a neighbor. Anderson was 4 months pregnant and had turned 20 that day. When the neighbor went back into her house and Anderson started to go about her business, she heard shots. The neighbor came out again saw Anderson on the ground and Anderson’s uncle, Dennis Morgan with a gun.

As Anderson prayed to God for her child and her unborn baby, this cold-hearted bastard ran up closer, yelled some expletives at her and unloaded 3 or 4 more bullets into her as she lay dying. This was all done as Anderson’s young son and terrified neighbor watched in horror.
Morgan got in his car and fled, but was captured down the road. There is no word on motive, but it seems that Anderson had been allowing Morgan and his wife to stay in her apartment. Morgan was a man who attended church every SundaySunday reviews
and neighbors are baffled on what they could have been arguing about and how it could have ended this way. Somehow, that doesn’t surprise me. It’s always the quiet ones that are just waiting around for their day to snap. Unfortunately for Ashley Anderson, that day was on her birthday.

And I really want to hear a motive on this one. WTF? She was pregnant, AND he went back and emptied the rest of his rounds into her? Also, his mugshot makes me want to vomit — it’s like he’s saying, what’s the problem? You’ve got big fucking problems now, Dennis! You fucking piece of shit.

I had a hard time looking away from this mass of ugliness. It’s sort of like a car wreck. Good Lord, what could have been so very wrong that he needed to empty his rounds on this young mom, and with the baby watching?

She was letting him stay with her. I can’t imagine any argument worth killing her and her unborn child over. He could have moved out if he was that pissed. I sure hope her son has someone safe to stay with where he can get the help he’ll need.

Oh, I’m sure he has some sort of “mental illness,” though like with many cases of “mental illness” we see on DD, it’s probably a personality disorder, i.e. he knows right from wrong but doesn’t give a shit, and needs to fucking die.

No kidding. Such a kind-hearted soul, trying to help out her aunt and uncle and this is the thanks she gets. Now her child will grow up without a mother. I hope this guy rots.

“It escalated when he pulled up, and he had tore the car seat out the car and throwed it in the middle of the parking lot, and she was just sitting on the stairs. And there was another guy sitting next to her and she was mumbling, I’m not dealing with this. So he got out the car and came up to the steps where she was sitting at and told her ‘yeah, [expletive], I bet you won’t get to your prenatal appointment now,’” says Gleaton.
Gleaton and her fiance say Morgan fired several gunshots, then reloaded and stood over Anderson, pulling the trigger again and again.
“You know she was laying on the ground. And my fiance was trying to comfort her. And he came out and he was like, ‘[expletive] you, [expletive].’ And started blasting. Point-blank range. Emptied the whole clip,” says witness James Sutton.
As if the shooting wasn’t horrifying enough, witnesses say Morgan then got into a car and deliberately ran over his mortally wounded niece.
“He calmly got in the car, sat back. Pulled out. Then came forward and ran over her head,” says Sutton.
Gleaton also said she saw the car first back up and then run over the victim, but the Richland County Sheriff’s Department disputes that part of the story.
A spokesman says autopsy results show no injuries indicating Anderson was hit by a car.
The solicitor’s office says Morgan is not likely to have a bond hearing until sometime next week.
