David Lochner And Timothy Welch Ate Emmy

Palmyra, New York–Once again, we have a couple of mugshots that are just begging to be featured here at the Dreamin’ Demon (What’s with the matching do’s)? And, I could be wrong, but this might just be our very first case of cattle thievery. David Lochner, 18, and Timothy Welch, 21, were busted for stealing, killing and eating Emmy…a 2-month-old calf.

It is reported that Lochner and Welch were camping near a dairy farm last month when they decided ‘they wanted something to eat.’ They headed for the nearest barn, broke in, and led Emmy out with a rope around her neck. They shot the calf, two times, with a bow and arrow. When she didn’t immediately die, they slit her throat. They gutted her and sliced off a few steaks, and headed back to their campsite to feast. I’m thinking Emmy was actually a pet…you don’t usually name something you’re going to devour later on.
After finding the abandoned carcass, bloody remains, and a bloody bow, a little bit of good old-fashioned police work led detectives to the cattle thieves. The odd couple were arrested and arraigned on Wednesday, both are facing charges of burglary. Other charges, including animal cruelty are pending. Bail has been set at $25,000. Back in the day, they’d string you up for a crime like that…

I hate these two individuals, they killed and ate Emmy, some poor child probably woke up to feed her pet and she was gone, how SAD and for these two just to do something so violent and not look back I say book them, arrest them and keep them locked up for some time, how dare they???? And they look like two pieces of garbage I hate their hair. I only wish that the poor defenseless animal would have kicked the shit out of both of them or bit them so hard and ran so fast to get away, I HATE WHEN PEOPLE HURT ANIMALS

Emmy was probably not a pet. It was a dairy farm and all the dairy cows I’ve ever met had names.

Just another couple of young adults that have chosen not to
be an asset to society. Why do so many suddenly feel that they can
just say “screw the laws we can do as we wish”.
So many just seem to have no respect for other peoples property, or even lives.
You DO NOT steal, or kill something that is not yours.

I can’t agree with the animal cruelty charge, per se. It doesn’t sound like they intended to prolong torture. In fact, it sounds like they tried to kill it quickly.
They’re still a couple of douchebags, but let’s be reasonable, here…

Could be that the cops know more than they’re saying? Though it’s not as if most animal cruelty laws are worth a crap, anyway. In general, smoking a joint in public will get you a harsher penalty than, say, torturing or starving an animal. Hell, it will often get you more jail time than fondling a toddler. Such priorities in our justice system…

Theses types don’t want to actually get a job, the only job they could ever get, with those doos, is telemarketing or on radio where their faces and haircuts are not seen, anyway!!
I’m gonna guess that neither have the braincells needed for those jobs, well, except for Talk Radio maybe!! They might apply for Shannon Burkes job,mmmm…. I doubt it, I think they believe they’re ‘entitled’ and don’t have to ‘work’ persay!!
BTW! Show Cattle are an expensive asset to a Farm family! But a great education for a Future Farmer!

Also, throat-slitting is not a quick or painless way to go by any means. Nor is being shot with an arrow, for that matter. I’m not saying they acted out of pure sadism, but who knows. All I know is they are jackasses who need to spend some time in jail, for the burglarly at the very least. Something tells me they are used to just taking whatever they want, whenever they want.

I’d be inclined to agree, but throat-slitting continues to be the kosher method of slaughter (which ironically was intended to be more humane once upon a time, and is now less humane,) and is also the way pigs are generally home slaughtered. People also still bow hunt for sport legally.
While stealing someone else’s livestock and eating it is stupid and malicious enough on it’s own, I don’t see the sadism angle either.
