Yes, Nadine. It almost seems code and doesn’t make much sense…unless it is someone who knows something about her and where she is. It is totally, a weird comment and can be read in different ways… but RUDE HEALTH. Hmmmm, that just doesn’t seem ‘normal’    I wonder if abroad will be back…  and think about the name this person chose “ABROAD”… as in, “out there” or “around”.  Yup, odd post!

Sounds like Peter has something to hide:

Peter Broswick was the Last Person to See the 17-Year-old and He’s Stopped Talking
The last person known to have seen Brittanee Drexel, Peter Broswick, has become a “person of interest” say authorities investigating the case. 13WHAM reported Tuesday that Broswick had retained an attorney and was refusing to  talk anymore about the missing 17-year-old who disappeared sometime after 8 p.m. Saturday evening while on Spring Break in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

It appears that many believe the Peter Broswick knows something about the disappearance. According to reports out of Myrtle Beach, where Brittanee Drexel vanished, are that he has changed his story of his last encounter with Brittanee several times. John Hahn, a 20-year-old Marine who first filed a missing person report on Brittanee Drexel early Sunday morning, told Nancy Grace that Broswick had told different stories to different people.

Abroad is a regular poster on the front page and in the forums.  She is a long time member.  She lives, like her name says, “abroad.”   No conspiracy here.

I’d take the time to explain her post to you guys because I get, it but I’ve explained enough, and I’m lazy.

This girl is cute, but maybe a little…stupid?  Teens need to stop thinking they are invincible and start listening to their parents.  A young girl walking around MB alone and at night?  There is something to be said for being safe.

And, I hate to say it, she’s probably dead and unless the person responsible confesses or a body washes up on shore, we will never know for sure what happened.

Yeah. I will be surprised if this one ends on a happy note. I mean I hope it does, but this long with no contact? Even if she was just scared of getting in trouble, I couldn’t imagine her seeing her friends and family in SC looking for her and not made an appearance if she could.

We had girls in our group of friends who would sneak off to Myrtle all the time. It was almost a rite of passage during spring break, or the summer break. I can even remember one instance when one of these girls went a little too nuts down there and ended up getting into a situation with some dumbass redneck from Pageland. Could have ended up the same way as this one may have.

This little girl’s a stunner, for sure, and almost as certainly dead. But I’ll continue to hope otherwise.

Ladies, I wish you would get the fact that, individually, ANY man poses a threat, but that threat increases exponentially when you are hanging around with a GROUP of men unaccompanied.

Don’t drink alone with men you wouldn’t have sex with and don’t leave with groups of men without utilizing the buddy system. These practices will serve you well.

Cute girl…experience says it won’t end well.  I mean we’ve all been 17, stupid, and invincible.   In highschool I was in situations where the “nice guys” I was friends with who “didn’t like me that way” turned into sloppy drunk guys groping you and telling you how much they loved you…but luckily I was way too scared of my mom to leave town with any of those guys and it turn real ugly.

I’m a bit confused from the NG video. Brittannee asked her mom if she could go to Myrtle Beach, her mom said no, and she went anyway? If that was my mom, she’d have been hunting me down the moment she realized I left without permission (just saying). Secondly, Brittannee had a boyfriend and went to the beach with a bunch of other “older” guys? And how did her boyfriend know she was missing if he wasn’t there?

Sorry to have caused anybody to question my motives even for a moment. It seemed funnier when I wrote it than it is now that I read it back.

What I was saying first was a comment on the part of the article where Morbid wished “that she will be found safe and continue to offset the physically unattractive people on the planet.” I would want her safe at home with her mother even if she was frankly unattractive, the sort of person that “only a mother could love”, so I supposed in jest that her mother probably loved her even though she was attractive, i.e. in spite of her prettiness.

And rude can mean several things, but when it is used to describe health it generally means vigorous or hearty. Possibly from a time when all polite company looked consumptive? The meaning you may have inferred is only the fourth possible meaning in the Oxford Concise Dictionary. (I felt the need to check now that it had been questioned.)

And I agree with everybody else who has a bad feeling about this now that someone has been pronounced a person of interest. It is enough to make me regret being so flippant yesterday……

Police in Myrtle Beach, S.C., are investigating a possible sighting Wednesday morning of a Gates Chili High School student who was reported missing Saturday.

Myrtle Beach Police Capt. David Knipes said officers are investigating after they got a call about a girl matching the description of Brittanee Drexel being seen on a bus from Georgetown, S.C., headed to the Bar Harbor Motel area where she was last seen.

In this case, police are treating this case “very seriously” particularly because Drexel, 17, has a history of mental health issues, he said.

DO we know what sort of mental health issues? No matter what they are, they would have most likely made her vulnerable to manipulation.

Poor mother. I would say poor girl, but I am almost certain she will be beyond earthly concerns at this point.  :(

Well now it is looking like this girl may have just took off and is now returning back. Peter Brozowitz, the 20-year-old who hired an attorney, only did so because of all the media attention he was getting…so says his attorney.

You know, IF this Peter guy does not know what happened to this girl, he is surely doing every single thing wrong. Aside from the fact that he took off at 2 a.m. that night, changes his story depending on who he is talking to and then immediately hires an attorney?

No kidding. I wonder, though, just how many people faced with being implicated under criminal circumstances stop to wonder how what they’re doing is being interpreted.

I would have lawyered up immediately, under these circumstances. With all my knowledge about the manipulation and mistakes on the part of law enforcement, I’d rather be better safe than sorry.

Because being that young and dumb, you place yourself in so many dangers. I tell my kids now, that if I had the chance to do it all over again…I would NEVER leave the way I did.

But it DID happen back then.  I’m confused as to why you think women weren’t stalked or kidnapped and killed in the “good ol days.”

I have a problem in general with the whole “good ol days” thing; is there really any evidence that things were somehow better “back then?”

Most of all, is there really any evidence at all that women who wear revealing clothing are “asking for it?”
