Break Up With Her Boy and Karen Peet Will Have You Jumped
April 28, 2009 by Rotten Apple
Wilmington, Delaware – Like alot of the mothers here, Karen Peet, 46, is one of those women that will do absolutely anything for her children. However, this woman takes that motherly instinct and twists it into something really pathetic. She put word out that she would pay $1000 to anyone who would jump her son’s 17 year old ex-girlfriend.

Karen Peet
The young girl had broken off a relationship with Peet’s 17 year old son, Cody, and he did not take it so well. It seems that Cody would hit his ex-girlfriend and actually broke her nose when she broke up with him. He was arrested and then repeatedly violated restraining orders that she had against him. She was also set to testify against him in upcoming court proceedings where he was charged with vandalism. That didn’t make mamma too happy either. When he was arrested at a party for violating the restraining order, Peet approached the teens at the gathering and offered $1000 to anyone who would jump her son’s ex.
Someone took her up this because since then, the girl has had a cinderblock thrown through her car window and a tire fall off her car while she was driving. What kills me is that this kid is trying to portray himself as some sort of bad ass, when from Karen Peet’s MySpaceMySpace
page, they look like they are straight from suburbia. Laugh out motherfucking loud. Congratulations Mrs. Peet! You have proven the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree by raising a shitty vandal and woman beater who will probably never learn a sense of personal responsibility. And Cody? You are one load your enabling mother definitely should have swallowed.

did you mean ‘broke her nose’?
What an idiot mom. It’s not that surprising that her kids (or, at least the one) turned out so shitty.

I failed miserably at proofing that post. Thanks.

And I looked over it again. But I don’t look for spelling mistakes in my own articles, much less anyone else.

That poor girl, it will take some time for all of this to go away. Good job Mom, way to keep endangering this girl after your son victimized her. Bunch of fucking jack asses!

And you can bet she still has no clue that anything she did was wrong. It’s all someone else’s fault.

I can’t fucking STAND parents who get wrapped up in their kid’s drama. Very little in this world strikes me as more pathetic and needy.
I mean, don’t get me wrong – when my sister encounters drama, it can be unbelieveably frustrating because, especially now that she’s got a husband and a child, all I want to do is end the bullshit for her. I’ll vent, but I don’t get involved (and haven’t since the kids she was battling were actually my age).
Of course, in this woman’s case, it was HER son that was the little shit. How a parent can see right past that will always amaze me.

Unfortunately, you are probably right, DV.

Run, ex-girlfriend, run! I was originally drawn to DD with the story of Natasha Hall (murdered by her boyfriend when she tried to dump his ass). Raging, hormonal teens are dangerous enough as it is, let alone when their psycho mommies are getting involved. If that’s her mug from this particular offense, she looks pretty damn pleased with herself and I don’t see this ending here.
The MySpace link didn’t work for me – said something about 404, item not found or something.

Probably her driver’s licence pic, – I believe blue backgrounds are used there and grey for mug shots.
That said, her behaviour so far leads me to fear that this is not over yet.

Countless times we ask ourselves why these people do what they do. Now we have some answers. It is because of parents like this one. Enablers like his good ole momma.
This kid must have gone through his childhood, doing some fucked up crap and mommy making excuses for him. Now he has a broken heart, and a criminal record to go with it, and mommy wants to take care of that too.

This woman needs her dumbass beaten by the momma of the little girl.. Stupid bitch needs to take the tit away from her son and let him grow up.

These are people who have NO LIFE of their own. Po wittle Cody got his feelin’s hurt- mama’ll take care of that mean ol’ girl. How dare that mean girl not let you bust her in the nose? I’ll make her sorry she ever turned you in to the cops….
DAMN PEOPLE! Let your kid fight his own battles!
If there is this much DRAMA, the dumbass isn’t worth the time of day!

This story made me think of the movie Serial Mom!

What i didn’t understand is why the girl’s parents didn’t get involved. I mean, if some guy broke my nose, my dad would have planted a bullet in his ass before the bleeding stopped.

The whole arrest and restraining order bit implies serious parental involvement. I doubt she ran out and achieved that by herself. Many people have sane parents who realize their children would much rather have a parent not facing criminal charges and still there looking out for them rather than a dead ex-boyfriend. Hard to believe, I know.

Reeeeaaally?
I said he would shoot him in the ass, not kill him. But even that would be restraint for me. Someone pulls this shit on my daughter, you can guaran-fucking-tee that this kid would be hurting in some way.
But then again, I hope I am raising my daughter better than to allow some asshat ever put his hands on her. Honestly, I think this girl may not be one of those.

Yeah… I almost understand her motives. To a point. It’s difficult to watch our children hurting (though something tells me that this boy’s PRIDE was hurting more than his heart), and you want to do anything to make it better. But a reasonable parent steps back and realizes that children learn from failures and mistakes, and we have to let them work some things out on their own. It’s hard.. not gonna lie. But kids, if they don’t learn to accept responsibility and grow/learn from failing and screwing up, well, then they pretty much stay children the rest of their lives (mentally and emotionally).
Besides, wtf were either of them thinking? Do you REALLY want someone who has to be beaten and threatened into staying with you? Isn’t that kind of sad??

This would be pathetic enough if the kid was some heartbroken sap, but Jesus Christ, it wasn’t enough that your son fucking punched the girl in the face and followed that up with some stalking?
Fucking losers, both of them.

I understand her motive — she is a fucking idiot. Case closed. Something tells me this woman is always looking for conflict, her son was just a means to an end. I just don’t buy that when parents do shit like this, it’s mostly about the kid and parental love and all that. People like Karen Peet are attention whores. She was probably absolutely relishing the opportunity to get all gangsta, not feeling her son’s pain.
Pathetic.
