Boca Raton, Florida–Easter Sunday at Belinda Leighton’s house sounds like a fucking blast! I’m going to see if I can score an invitation for next year. She doesn’t settle on the usual boring Easter traditions-i.e., candy eating, egg hunting, Easter brunch, more candy eating. No, Belinda likes to liven things up a bit with a little drinking, some driving, and death threats.

Belinda spent Easter morning drinking wine and beer, then decided she wanted to take the kiddos for a drive. She loaded the kids into the car and set off for a relaxing SundaySunday reviews drive. At some point during the drive, her 13-year-old son called 911.

The boy told the dispatcher that his mom was drunk. She was speeding through town, at speeds as high as 100 mph., with him and his 9-year-old sister in the back seat. The child stated that his mother told them she ‘had it’ with them and was going to kill all of them by crashing the car. At one point, she nearly struck a fire hydrant. He told the dispatcher he was scared and concerned for his safety and that of his little sister.

Deputies finally caught up with Belinda and the kids at a friends house; luckily the kids were still alive and unharmed. As she was being questioned, Belinda repeatedly requested that her children be removed from her care and placed in foster care. Belinda was arrested and charged with two counts of child neglect. I hope the deputies granted Belinda’s wish to be childless. Ignorant bitch….
