Bryant Rivera Is A Tool

Bryant Rivera
Dallas, Texas–Bryant Rivera, 22, is being accused of leaving his 3-year-old stepson alone in the car, in a bar parking lot, in a high-crime area, for more than 5 hours. But dammit! He had a good reason!
This is what police believe happened: Rivera was supposed to take the child to a cook-out at their apartment complex–somehow, the two ended up at the bar. Rivera handed the kid a bottle of Dr. Pepper, covered him up with a blanket, and left a DVD playing in the headrest in front of the child. Then, at about 9:00 p.m, Rivera entered the bar and proceeded to get drunk.
At about 2:30 a.m., police were called to the bar on a report of a child left unattended in a blue Chevy Malibu parked outside of Naro’s Sports Bar. When officer’s arrived, they found the doors locked and the child asleep. A bouncer informed them the vehicle’s owner was in the bar, and he wasn’t coming out. The bouncer obtained Rivera’s keys and handed them to deputies so they could check on the child. While they were tending to the child, Rivera exited the bar and was promptly arrested.
You know Rivera has a different story to tell, don’t you? He claims he did nothing wrong. ‘I’m being falsely accused,’ said the tool. Yes, he was at a bar, and yes, he had his stepson with him–he admits to that much. But he says he was only dropping off two friends and eating tacos next door.
Rivera said he waited for his friends for about an hour. ‘They were just going to play a quick game of pool. Poolpool reviews
doesn’t take long. Before I know it, it was three in the morning and I’m like, I’m going, “What’s going on?” That’s why I went inside to tell them I got to leave.’ Oooh…I get it. He is such a wonderful friend that he had absolutely no problem hanging out in the parking lot for 5 fuckin’ hours so he could make sure his friends got home safely. Yeah, I’m buying that.
‘I wasn’t inside the bar drinking. I wasn’t even inside the bar besides one time when I walked in to tell my friends that I was going to leave,’ said Rivera. Yeah, cops called bullshit too. They said that Rivera was highly intoxicated when he left the bar. Bryant Rivera is being charged with child endangering and child abandonment. There are no reports as to the amount of his bail/bond. The child was returned to his mother.
And where was mommy? She was at home napping. She believed Rivera and her son were at the cook-out. ‘They were supposed to be here. They were supposed to have a cookout outside,’ said the boy’s mother, who did not want to be identified. She said she is afraid of repercussions from the child’s biological father. ‘I want answers. I want to know what’s going on.’ Not only did he leave your child in the car, chances are, he was going to drive home drunk with your child in the car. Your boyfriend is a tool…a useless one.
PenelopeJo has this one covered in the forums. Thanks PJ!

They should remove the child from the mother and give it to the father.
The”mom” is to blame as much as the dumbass bryant. How in the hell can she lay there napping at 2:30 in the morning and not try to find her child? Sounds like she doesn’t give a shit as long as the child is not in her face.

I call bullshit too, but regardles if that was the case, he is still admitting to leaving the child in the car while he was inside eating. Ummm that doesn’t work either jackass! What goes through their minds is what I want to know?????

He even looks mad and drunk in his booking photo. He he….

I’m not sure how the mother is to blame here. When she says they were supposed to be here having a cookout, that leads me to believe the cookout was at their home. Maybe she didn’t feel good and went to bed for the night, assuming her husband would put the child to bed? I doubt she was napping at 2:30 in the morning. and i doubt she knew her husband instead decided to take this child to the bar. His story doesn’t make much sense though, if his plan was to have a cookout, why would he be meeting his friends for tacos?

I blame mom as well as dumbass because at 9:00 PM that “mother” should have been checking to see where her child was.. A good mother would like to know that her child is safe and at 3 years old should have been with her instead of sitting in a fricking car for 5 hours. That my friend is bullshit! No reason for the child to have to sit in a fricking car for that long of time.

Lavonna,
I agree with you as well meaning mom should have known where her children were AND at that age, her child should have been gone from party, if there was one??, and her and child go home give a bath and get pajamas on and put into his bed for bedtime, then everyone would have known where child was, …… I am so glad i was raised with good parents who cared for my well being at any age…. We think alot alike…..
the whole story is bullshit from the beginning
Try to save the world is exhausting….

I am thankful that I was raised with good parents too! I think parents should know where their kids are at no matter who has them and no matter how old they are.. To me that shows that you love them and care about them.

I understand what you guys are saying that the child should have been home and in bed and all that. I have a two year old and hate to have him be in bed 15 minutes later then he usually is. What i’m saying is, this man is her husband, and she probably trusted that he would have came home from the cookout on time. This woman was sleeping for whatever reason. She could have been sick, she could have worked all day, she could have just been tired and didn’t feel like going to the cookout. I doubt she would have set her alarm clock for 9 PM to make sure her child was home and in bed because she probably had no reason to believe her husband wouldn’t have brought him there. She should not lose custody of her son because of her husbands stupid decisions. Granted I wouldn’t allow him to take him anywhere alone again, but this is NOT her fault.

Most people have cookouts in the evening like around 5-6 so as a mother if I didn’t go then I would be thinking that they would be home 10 at the latest and if not my little ass would be calling and out looking for my 3 year old child. Instead of sleeping she should be making sure her child was safe.
My oldest one is 17 and she is home by 8:00 on week nights and 10 on weekends (10:30 if she is lucky) and in the last year she has only been late one time. 5 minutes late and I was calling her cell and she is like ” I’m sorry momma, we’re pulling in now” . You know why I called when she was 5 minutes late? Because I love my girls and I want to know where they are and if they are ok at all times.

Well, isn’t that just the nicest high crime area you’ve ever heard of? Reporting children unattended in cars, nice.
Is it just me that hopes the mother gets repercussions from a JUDGE? I’m not buying that she thought a 3 year old was at a cookout until 2:30AM. Nice penis ya got there, dumb ass.
3:19 pm on April 9th, 2009
No it isn’t just you.. I think she should as well.
3:24 pm on April 9th, 2009
I don’t defend child abusers but in the mothers defense.. she was sleeping so perhaps she thought he took the child to the cookout and they were home already…
if it were me there is no way in hell i would let a man who wasn’t my childs father take him anywhere without me.

I am so dreadfully worried that the next generation growing up in this country are going to be so dysfunctional without any kind of set standards of social norms that instead of new apartment complexes, they should start building new prisons for the future population. Hey, that’s how I’m seeing it! Kids aren’t being raised right anymore.
