Tinnea and James Burns
Youngstown, Florida- If you’re curious as to why the two individuals pictured above made it to our front page, let me just say it has nothing to do with Tinnea’s fugly-ass haircut. It also does not have anything to do with the fact that if you removed one of the n’s from her name and spelled it “Tinea”you would discover that it is a synonym for ringworm. Although, after reading the story, I’m sure you’ll agree that regardless of the spelling, Tinnea and James Burns both are nothing but parasitic fungi that have infected the very skin of our society.
James and Tinnea’s niece and two nephews were placed in their care and living with them since OctoberOctober reviews
2007 after they had been removed from their mother due to abuse. Just this last month, after the two oldest children confessed to skipping school on MarchMarch reviews 18, the aunt and uncle removed all three from school and told them they would be home-schooled from then on. I doubt if you will find any home-schooling websites advising the tactics these two ass-hats used when it comes to teaching lessons.
In the early hours of April 6, the two brothers, ages 15 and 17, snuck out of their aunt and uncle’s home. They left their 16-year old sister behind where she was chained and locked in a closet. Once school started, the two brothers went to Mosley High School and confided to a teacher about their living conditions at home. They said their aunt and uncle chained and locked the oldest two in a bathroom for three days, after which time the oldest brother was allowed to return to his bedroom.
Their sister was treated like a dog and was forced to wear a dog collar. Since dogs did not talk or walk on two legs, she was not allowed to speak and had to crawl around on her hands and knees. The Burns’ even made her eat out of a dog bowl on the floor. Every night, she was chained and locked in a closet where she slept on a foam mat. Newsflash! A lot of people treat their dogs with more dignity and respect than you showed your own flesh and blood, Fucktards!
James Wesley Burns, 39, and Tinnea Michele Burns, 33, were arrested and charged with two counts of false imprisonment and two counts aggravated child abuse. The three children have been removed from the home and placed in the custody of DCF. I really hope these kids catch a break and are placed in a good home soon because the last thing they need is to be abused and disappointed by more ignorant-ass adults.

I could cry, these poor children were taken away once by their mother and then now this what the fuck is up with these people????
Very courageous on the boys part to confide in a teacher and I will pray that these children do find a loving home and someone shows them the way to a better life for the two pictured above

Nadine, it seems a bit much, but here, I guess we can believe. Before we make a decision, we want all the facts to come out. It sounds much of hear/say. we did not read anything about an investigation at the home finding chains, dog bowl, etc.. The only report is what the kids are saying so far. It just seems a little bit much.

Bay County Sheriff ’s Capt. Jimmy Stanford said investigators at the residence discovered swing-set chains with padlocks attached to them. He said investigators received a confession from the suspects shortly after interrogations began.
“I have not seen anything like this in my experience”to actually have a child chained to an eye-bolt in the floor.”

i am one of tinnea’s sister the kids are fine they are with our dad and mom we told hrs not to put them there and they did so it is becouse of hrs this happen hrs always takes kids that don’t need to and leaves the ones who need them and it was james who did this tinnea was working but she could have done something for our babys

Good gravy! The waterworks are just flowing tonight! I can’t stand it!
Thankfully these 2 boys have good heads on their shoulders still and were able to go to the school and report the abuse.
I wonder if there were other forms of abuse/torture in the household before they were pulled out of school. It would seem odd that it would only start afterwards.

Well First I’d like to mention, all of y’all perverts need to watch what y’all say…. it really isn’t necessary….. My brother happens to be a son of James Burns and he has never complained about the way he is disciplined and treated by his father. He stays over there on some weekends and holidays. He has never said anything about dog bowl, collars, or chains. As far as I’m concerned it’s a bunch of teenage drama bull shit. If I could tell you some of the things those teenagers done then maybe you’d understand it all a little better, but I’m not putting peoples business out like that. If you knew the family then I’d say that you could comment on it but you have no idea…. those kids are really out of control…. You guys really don’t need to cuss so much it’s really pathetic.

Could it be your son didn’t know? Maybe Ol’ James Burns was a bit prejudice towards his own flesh and blood! Did you actually read what the investigators found? The Police didn’t just take the teens word for it…..How do you explain the eye-bolts and swingset chains in the closet? Just because your son didn’t experience any of the abuse these AssTards meted out to the teens, doesn’t make it not true!

An examination of the 11 year old revealed that she had a hexagram branded on her lower back. A hexagram is a six-pointed geometric star figure.
The child told investigators that her father had used a needle-type device and tattooed the hexagram on her back approximately four months prior.
The tattooing resulted in permanent disfigurement to the child’s back.
Investigation further revealed that all of the children removed from the home had been given similar tattoos by Burns.

It’s people like you that cause children to continously be abused, because you don’t want to hear or believe them…. So the children stop telling and continue to be victimized by people that should’ve given them loving guidance and happiness. “They were allowed to go outside for one hour…during that time they were chained to the back porch,” Lt. Pitts says, “The house was also surrounded by pit bulls, so someone couldn’t just walk back in the back where the children were kept.”
Pitts says the girl stated that her uncle placed a dog chain around her neck and told her to get on all fours. “That she was a dog, and since dogs couldn’t speak she wasn’t allowed to speak to any family member,” he says.
“If I would have known, I would have helped her,” Burke says. “I would have helped all of them.”

The paper also quotes burns as saying this was not abuse, “just enough to make them feel it, not enough to break their spirit or try to destroy them.”

These people were my next door neighbors. I went to school with the oldest two children. I was close with their niece. I never really liked James or “buddy” as he was called. I had witnessed a few times when he was rough with them, and he had threatened me a couple of times. I AM GLAD THAT THEY ARE IN JAIL AND I HOPE THEY STAY THERE!!!
