delivery driver Ngoc Dinh Nguyen was killed about 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 3000 block of Brill Circle when he arrived to deliver pizza. He was shot in the back and died at the scene.
Though there were no reported witnesses, by dawn police made three arrests. Thus far, they’ve been mum on what led them to their suspects, but all three suspects confessed to the crime. Arrested were Marvin Ladominick Davis, 17, Joshua Tavarius James, 16, and an unnamed 15-year-old.
Domino’s policy states that drivers usually carry less than $20.00, so if robbery was the motive, these jokers didn’t do very well.
Davis and James, charged as adults with murder and robbery, are being held in Mobile Metro Jail. Their 15-year-old accomplice is being held at Strickland Youth Center.

The victim was actually 50. If they wanted money and pizza that bad they could have just knocked him out, but no. As most people lacking a moral compass, these wastes of oxygen killed the poor guy.

Jury, either you’re extremely dense and incapable of understanding even the most obvious distinctions, or you’re completely dishonest. Maybe both. I won’t point out the difference between these teenage perps and a teenager who was beaten up by a man with a golfclub for stealing golf balls (not to mention the 13-year-old girl who narrowly escaped molestation), because it’s SO FUCKING OBVIOUS.

Um, I DIDN’T say that. Nothing even close. Jury likes to call all teenagers monsters, whether they are beaten for stealing golf balls or nearly molested, not only kids who shoot people. They’re all monsters to Jury. Jury doesn’t like it when people point out the idiocy in this POV, therefore Jury disingenuously implies I am in favor of coddling violent teenage criminals.

okokok—Take your differences elsewhere. I don’t have to follow every thread and read every freakin post to keep up with who says what and be brought up to speed.
This is where we all can express our own opinions. If you don’t like what someone else has to say, both of you can grow up and deal with it on some other site that caters and prolongs all that backbiting and shit.
It takes a bit of self-control, on both of your parts to not bicker back and forth like a couple of pissed off housewives. On here, you just ACCEPT that you are NOT going to have the same opinion, and try to learn from it, no matter how chauvenist or screwed up it seems.

I probably shouldn’t take the bait, but when someone blames the victim as regularly as Jury does, I feel compelled to take that person to task. And why does Jury always blame the victim on a website where that POV is especially unpopular? Because Jury wants to stir the pot as you said.
Therefore, perhaps Jury should just be ignored as I hate getting off topic like this, though my original comments to Jury have always pertained directly to the topic at hand.

I always feel extra bad when an immigrant comes from a war-torn country and tries to make a better like in the United States, only to be killed by senseless violence. RIP Ngoc Dinh Nguyen.
The particulars of this murder remind me of the murder of Azim Khamisa, a pizza delivering college student, by Tony Hicks, a 14 year old gang member.

I used to be a pizza delivery driver and if they robbed the guy it wasn’t for no 20 bucks. Any given night I carried over 200 on me sometimes allot more and that does not include my tip money. When you clock on they hand you 20 bucks A-10 A-5 and five 1’s. Thats to make change and get some gas(if you need gas) I would get sent out with 5-10 pizza’s at a time more on the weekends. Don’t get me wrong im not saying these tards were right in shooting the guy.I just want to clear up the 20 dollar thing. its a bunch of crap and no pizza place is ever going to tell someone they carry more then 20. they just tell people that so people won’t want to rob the poor pizza people and I probably shouldn’t be saying it publicly either. anyway. I remember a pizza guy getting murdered a way while back ago in San Diego in my apartment complex. Its like living it again. WTF is wrong with these damn teens? They really didn’t need to do much to get pizza or some money from him I swear. Im sure all they had to do is point the gun at him and he’d give it up. I don’t know anything about Mobile,AL but i sure read allot about crazy shit happening over there. DAMN!~ I do hope they get tried as adults. its a shameless,spineless,cowardly unnecessary crime.

Don’t get me wrong, I love y’all boosting the post count on my thread — it makes me feel so special — but can we drop the high school drama-llama games (kind of like reindeer games, only there’s no fat man with presents) and worry about the dirtballs who murdered a man in cold blood for

OH no shit! I was born and raised there. My mom is retiring next week from the San Diego County Council. Been there 30 years. I had the same thought, an immigrant out delivering pizzas trying to support his family, and he was probably grateful to have the job at that. And this is how it turned out for him. Tragic.
I hope these little pieces of shit pay dearly for this, despite their ages. For starters, perhaps they could all have the word “COWARD” tattooed on their heads with the subtitle, “I shoot unarmed people in the back.”
Little fucking assholes! Their world is so small, and they are so astoundingly ignorant, that they actually think shooting a guy in the back for a bit of cash is a really good idea. Even more, in their mugshots they appear annoyed that this “getting arrested for murder” thing is cutting into their pathetic faux-thug life. With any luck, reality will hit them like a ton of bricks very soon.

What is wrong with these little bastards? I still don’t understand why some people do such horrible things. Ngoc Dinh Nguyen had a family, people who cared for him, people who now have a hole in their lives that will never be filled. All because, why? I can’t even fill in that blank. It’s so senseless! And these were young people–they had their whole lives ahead of them and just threw it away to shoot an innocent man in the back? WTF? Waste, all the way around. A good man who was contributing to society was wasted. Three young people decided to waste their own lives for…what? Pizza? True, it’s the food of the gods, but it’s not worth taking an innocent life! Money? No amount is worth a life. A thrill kill? Pick up a video game and kill pixels! Go paintballing with your friends! There’s your thrill!
I hope they get the death penalty they so richly deserve and go straight to hell, where all the pizza has anchovies.

This is very sad.. He was a pizza guy. Those pathetic drug using low lives killed him for what.. 20$ and a pizza? The worst thing is I know his nephew, he is a friend from my freshman and sophomore year at B.C.Rain.. thank god I go to Baker now.. I say execute all three of them. They took his life, why should they deserve to keep theirs.
