Stephanie Lighten (Myspace)
Pittsfield, MA–Stephanie Lighten has a recipe for makin’ babies. The ingredients; some borrowed sperm, turkey baster, ice pack, and a willing participant. Directions; put borrowed sperm into turkey baster, insert into willing participant, sit back and wait for results. Simple.
While Stephanie had the first three, she was lacking in the most important ingredient…a willing participant.
Stephanie want a baby. More specifically, she wants her wife, Jennifer Lighten, to bear that child. She has been talking about impregnating her wife for quite some time now. Her pleas fell upon deaf ears…Jennifer doesn’t want to get pregnant. What’s a wife to do?
Stephanie ‘borrowed’ some semen from her brother. How she acquired that semen is unknown, and I, for one, prefer to keep it that way. According to Jennifer, Stephanie returned to their apartment ‘all liquored up.’ She threw Jennifer on the couch, grabbed at her clothes, and threatened to impregnate her. Stephanie had her brother’s sperm and a large syringe with a catheter tip. Jennifer expressed her hesitancy to go along with that plan, and ran into the bathroom and locked the door.
Her escape plan was foiled when Stephanie broke down the door. When Stephanie retreated to the kitchen to retrieve an ice pack, Jennifer bolted out the front door and attempted to flee the scene in the couple’s SUV. Stephanie was right on her heels; she jumped onto the side of the vehicle, swung the door open, and made Jennifer stop.
Stephanie Lighten, 26, was arrested at the scene on Tuesday. Police confiscated the container of semen and some aluminum foil, which was originally used to hold the semen. The squirt belonged to Nicholas Lighten, Stephanie’s brother. Also confiscated was a large syringe with a catheter tip, still in it’s original packaging.
On Wednesday morning, Stephanie was released on personal recognizance after denying the allegations. Jennifer didn’t want to pursue charges of assault with intent to rape because she didn’t believe Stephanie was going to sexually assault her with the syringe. So, Stephanie is facing charges of domestic assault and battery. Stephanie was ordered to ‘refrain from abuse’ and a pretrial date was set for April 29.
