Whitney Kizart

St. Paul, MN- Robert Linnear, 24, and his wife Jennifer, 26, had been having an “off and on” relationship for the past six to seven months. The Linnears had five children, ages 2 to 10, and had been trying to work on their marriage. Apparently, Robert’s finger was touch more married than his penis because he was cheating on Jennifer with a 21-year old woman named Whitney Tanee Kizart.

Jennifer learned of her husband’s infidelity when she tested positive for genital herpes. She began yelling at Robert and he admitted to having an affair with Whitney Kizart. He said he believed he had contracted herpes from Kizart. The Linnears decided to confront Kizart, and Robert called her to tell her they were coming over.

On March 5, 2009, with Jennifer Linnear driving, the two went to Kizart’s apartment building. As soon as the couple arrived at 650 Oakdale Ave., Robert said, Kizart came out of her door and walked to his passenger-side window.  Robert accused Kizart of giving him herpes and she denied it. Then, Jennifer leaped out of the vehicle and started yelling at her. Kizart said, “Get your wife. Get your wife” and then she swung. Kizart and his wife exchanged quick blows. After a few swings, Kizart ran away. Robert hopped over to the driver’s side as his wife got into the passenger seat.

Robert said his wife seemed agitated but fine until he saw blood staining her shirt. She had been stabbed once or twice near her heart. That’s when Robert said he “lost it” and followed Kizart upstairs, hitting her five or six times. He then left and took his wife to the hospital at about 1:51 in the morning.

Robert dropped Jennifer off at Regions Hospital unconscious and without a pulse and then sped away. Officers saw a Chevrolet Suburban driving into the emergency drop-off area at a high rate of speed. It then turned and headed toward Jackson Street. The officers were told that Jennifer Linnear had been dropped off from that vehicle and they stopped it in front of the hospital. The driver, Robert Linnear, said that he had dropped off his wife and that a woman named Whitney had stabbed her and gave them her address. Jennifer Linnear was declared dead within the hour. An autopsy determined she died from a stab wound that penetrated the lungs and heart. She also had a sharp-force injury to her neck and similar injuries on her hands.

When police first questioned Kizart, she said there had been a verbal confrontation with Jennifer Linnear. She said she went back to her apartment and Robert Linnear kicked in the door and assaulted her. Kizart had a cut lip and a swollen right eye. She did not mention a physical confrontation and she did not mention a knife.

Officers found a knife handle and bent knife blade in the driveway of Kizart’s building. The blade was broken and separated from the handle.
When Kizart went to police headquarters with an investigator, she talked about how Jennifer Linnear went off on her. Kizart said Robert Linnear tried to stand between the two women, but Jennifer Linnear pushed her. Kizart told police she went upstairs as Jennifer Linnear said, “Oh … you scared bitch.”

The story changed when the investigator asked whether Kizart brought anything downstairs with her. She said she brought a kitchen knife and held it in her coat pocket. When Jennifer Linnear pushed her, Kizart said she stabbed her once.

Kizart’s friends are defending her. They said Robert’s wife knew about her and Kizart knew about his wife. They said Kizart wouldn’t have stabbed someone unless she was threatened. They question why Robert took his wife to Kizart’s house when she didn’t even know where Kizart lived. My guess is that Robert enjoyed the idea of these two women fighting over his two-timing ass and now his children have lost their mother.

Kizart had recorded some phone conversations with Jennifer Linnear, which one friend said Kizart played for her. In one conversation, Jennifer told Kizart she should be dead like her baby. Kizart lost her 1 1/2 -year-old daughter last summer to leukemia. Robert Linnear was not the baby’s father, according to Kizart’s friends.

Kizart was arrested on MarchMarch reviewsMarch reviews 5, 2009 with second-degree murder without intent. Kizart is on probation for a 2007 conviction in Hennepin County for drug possession.

    Um … he sped away?
    Why???
And … why hasn’t he been arrested also?
There’s something smelly about this story.
It sounds like a plot-gone-wrong between both of them to murder the wife.
    Maybe.

Sorry, the way I see it Jennifer had it coming. I would call it self defense seeing Jennifer came up to her, and who knows who threw the first punch. She should not have gone there and picked a fight.

Robert obviously isn’t the sharpest crayon in the box. Since when do you pit your wife against your mistress and expect things not to get ugly? Idiot.

This guy was hardly worth fighting over. The douchebag gave his wife herpes, was cheating on her, and couldn’t even be bothered to stick around at the hospital to see if she was going to be OK.

The marriage was already rocky, Jennifer would have been better off just letting Kizart have the pathetic shit for brains penis. Definitely not worth dying over.

As for Kizart, if she felt threatened she should have returned to her apartment and called police instead of grabbing a kitchen knife and getting stabby. It sounds more like she was a woman scorned than one that felt “threatened”. Oh please.

I have to agree with Jury on this. You go looking for touble…usually you find it. They were out of control and selfish for going over there. For what? Whooping her ass doesn’t get rid of your std. These are adults? Not high schoolers, right? Oh.
All this over a cheating husband and a case of herpes. Not that serious enough to lose your life and turn your children’s lives upside down.

Yeah,it makes no sense to bring your wife over to your mistress house.

Maybe they were hoping the wife would get all gangster on mistress and she could kill her in “self defense”.
I don’t understand how women could fight over a man let alone a man who gave you herpes.

She had been stabbed, he leaves her in the car so he could go punch the other woman? Dumps her at the hospital and hauls ass?
Wow, this story is full of winners

The poor kids. Everyone involved in this situation was wrong. The Linnears should not have gone to confront Kizart, and she should’ve stayed in her apartment. In fact, if she felt threatened, she should’ve called police as soon as she knew the Linnears were on their way.

I agree.. She should have never went to her house to confront her,

If she hasn’t went outside it would have been somewhere else and she may have thought might as well get it over with.
I would have went outside too but I would have called the law and told them they may want to head that one because one of us was going to pack an ass whipping.

    OK…here’s my theory:

I think that Robert and Whitney plotted to kill Jennifer. I think that after Whitney stabbed Jennifer, Robert realized that Whitney didn’t look roughed up enough, so he ran upstairs and punched her a little to make it look legit. Then he remembered, “Oh crap, I better get Jennifer to the ER”. Then he just dropped her off, probably so he could say he wasn’t with her and didn’t know what was going on, and could even say he was with Whitney as his alibi. Flimsy, but bear with me. Then, when he got pulled over, he realized the cops knew he had been with Jennifer, and that’s when he put all the blame on Whitney.

Why did he just drop her off and leave?? What did he have to hide? and at what point did the police find him after he sped off…what was his reason for leaving..???

I think there’s more to this that just hasn’t come out yet.

Its sad that the one who had the least to do with this whole fiasco (Regardless of who went where, or did or said what first) is the one who is dead now. I have a feeling when all is said and done They BOTH will do time……………And BOTH need lots of Valtrex ;)

    OK…here’s my theory:

If it was planned out, it was obviously a case of LINNEAR thinking. Point A to Point B with no thought for what might happen if they got to Point C or D. Dumbasses.

She has a criminal history and she brought a weapon to a fist fight. I don’t think she’s gonna get off with self defense. I don’t know the law to the letter. But isn’t there something on the books about excessive force?

Looking at premeditation and excessive force, personally I’d just make him live with her
