San Antonio, TX- It’s against the law to keep quiet about abuse. I hope that fact gets ingrained into everyone’s head one day, even the stupid ones. I know it seems impossible, but a girl can dream, right?
On Tuesday, February 24, 2009, two adults were caring for April Martinez’s 2-year-old daughter while she was at work. Around 3:00 p.m. that day, they gave the little girl a sandwich. The girl vomited up the sandwich and then began having breathing problems. The two adults then took her to Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital.

there found bruises all over the little girl’s body. The adults who brought her in to the hospital told police they witnessed the mother hitting the child and calling her names. The child also complained to the adults her head and stomach hurt. Doctors said the injuries they saw on the child were consistent with assault. The girl underwent surgery at University Hospital Tuesday night. Her injuries were so severe she had to be brought by a helicopter from another hospital.
Now, granted, these two adults made the right decision in taking her to the hospital, but WTF? They witnessed previous abuse, but chose not to report it until the child was severely ill? Thanks for saving her life, but I still think you both are fucktards for not reporting this sooner. You could have saved this child from so much pain and needless suffering!
April Martinez, 20, was arrested on Tuesday night and police charged her with injury to a child. She admitted to being a little rough with her daughter. I don’t think rough begins to describe it, you fucking bitch!
When they searched her home, they found that another woman and a 7-month old child were living at the residence as well. The woman living with Martinez said she saw the abuse and bruises, but didn’t think it was her place to say anything. Another fucktard! I swear they breed like roaches!
This is not April Martinez’s first brush with the law. She was also arrested in 2007 on a theft charge. So, she’s not only a cold-hearted cunt, she’s a thieving cold-hearted cunt.
Both children are now in the custody of Child Protective Services. The injured 2-year-old is in stable condition. Heal fast and well little one. You are in my prayers.

god, and a two year old?? that just makes it all the more worse to me. that’s like a little toddler. there is no need to beat any child, especially a harmless baby. how do you know that this is happening to such a young child, and DO NOTHING??

Please be careful, if others see these two get prosecuted for finally coming forward and revealing they knew beforehand ( and remember, they only said so after trying to save the child) more people may be less likely to get involved. It may create a backlash we don’t want. When they said they saw it before, they may have been trying to make sure the police understood THIS WAS NOT A ONE TIME THING and needed to get the child out of the house. Too many times the police have returned a child when there is not enough history.
Prosecute the woman living in the house who NEVER SAID A DAMN THING, but leave the two saviors with a warning.
All I’m saying is lets be careful.

Assault, that is such a strong powerful word. So sad that little girl had to endure that from her own mother.
It was her place. As an adult you need to be a voice for someone who is unable to have their own. I feel it is your responsibility.

Tisk.Tisk.Tisk. I wish more people would be like my husband it’s a sad story . My husband and our doggie Cooties were on their way to McDonalds to get breakfast, on their way they sadly noticed this dog abusing ass clown hitting and kicking his lab (poor puppy) my husband got out of his car unnoticed and beat and kicked this ass clown like he hit his dog sadly he couldn’t take the dog because of our dog but the story has a sadder ending …no McDonalds that day . My prayers go out to the little girl and just wish people stand up for the little people and animals . Karma is a bitch when it hits you in the ass.
