Finally… a story where a mother actually gets it right! I applaud the mother and daughter for their courage and strength to stand together against this giant fucking turd! What a low life scum sucking POS to take video of his own daughter, and ya, after 12 years of parenting, he should have been considered as such. If my husband (my daughters stepfather) ever did this I would cut his fucking dick off instead of calling the cops. This type of thing just makes me soooooo damn mad. He gives good men that are great stepfathers (like my hubby), a reallllly bad name.

I am not faulting mom in this one… but I have to wonder what kind of judgment she has. We all think we’re pretty good judges of character, there had to be some signs that this guy had “issues”, no? And where does it cross the line from (perhaps an unhealthy) interest in younger women’s bodies to incest?

So many time we hear about and read about folks who were perfectly fine and acting within society’s norms, and then, seemingly out of nowhere, they go apeshit and kill or harm someone else. Really? There was no indication? No warning signs? Nothing that ever made anyone pause for one second and wonder about this guy’s intentions and character? If that is the case, how do ever trust anyone? How can we expect our children (and I say “our” even though I have none – I think that collectively, as a society, we all have a repsonsibility to the children in our world. We don’t have to actively parent them, but we have a responsbility not to harm them, to be appropriate, to treat our planet with care, etc.) to ever trust anyone? We read everyday about teachers, babysitters, co-parents, strangers, family friends, siblings, etc. doing this shit (and worse).

Just sad…

These are the stories that make me paranoid. At work, I cover every single crack on walls, check all around before I use the restroom, lol. This is an everyday thing for me.
