Wilbert McCullough Shocked his Kids

Wilbert McCullough, Jr.
Sanford, FL - If you have children, you know how much fun it can be to think up new games to play together. It keeps their imaginations fired up, and brings the whole family closer. Wilbert McCullough might just win Creative Dad of the Year award for the game he likes to play. Here’s how to do it at home: spread some garbage bags on the floor, have your kids kneel, get a shotgun and place a round into its chamber, point it at each child’s head, and ask which one you should shoot first! Hijinx ensue!
Wilbert McCullough, Jr., 38, actually did this with his kids, but they didn’t love him for it. Turns out, he kind of scared his 13-year-old girl and 14-year-old boy a bit. Can you imagine?? In fact, he scared them sufficiently that they ran away late last year, and reported that their father beat them repeatedly, using a belt, PVC pipe and a wooden paddle. He put on boxing gloves and punched the boy in the head and chest. And he punished the girl by binding her hands and ankles, putting a sock in her mouth, and shocking her with a taser. Yes, a taser.
I think what upsets me most about this story is that these kids are 13- and 14-years-old, and told police this has been going on for years. I cannot imagine the pain and horror of their daily lives, and I’m so sorry it took this long to come to light. Though if you ever GoogleGoogle
your father’s name, kids, I’d like to say, “GoodGood reviews
job running away and getting help!!”
The bad news is that although McCullough faced a maximum possible sentence of 360 years for 12 felony counts (six of them alleging torture or malicious punishment), he was only sentenced to 20 years, after pleading no contest prior to the start of his trial.
The good news is that the childrens’ mother, Loreana McCullough, 37, has also been charged with 3 counts of child neglect for failing to protect her children from the ongoing abuse.
