Hebron, IN–Do you have one of those people in your family? You know, the batty relative that no one wants to invite over for Christmas, birthdays, or weddings? When he/she does manage to arrange an invitation, everyone points and asks, ‘Who invited that asshole?’ Annmarie Bricker, 23, is that asshole. Uninvited to her sister’s wedding, Annmarie pitched a fit and ruined everyone’s day.
Lori Kappe had just arrived at the home where her wedding reception was being held. As soon as she had the car parked, her batty sister Annmarie approached the car and started banging on the windows. When Lori exited the car and made for the front porch, Annmarie attacked her. She punched Lori in the head, pulled out clumps of her hair, and brought her down to the ground, dirtying her wedding dress. It took 2 or 3 reception guests to pull the women apart…a task made even more difficult when a friend of Annmarie started smacking them around. I guess we know why Annmarie wasn’t on the guest list….
Annmarie told police that she ‘just wanted to talk’ to her sister and parents about family problems. She denied ever laying a hand on her sister…she maintains that three people jumped her. I guess she didn’t account for the witnesses to the attack, who promptly called bullshit. Also witness to the attack were Annmarie’s children, who watched the drama unfold from the car. Way to set an example Annmarie!
Annmarie Bricker was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor battery. She later resigned from her job as a Porter County 911 dispatcher.

I almost feel sad for her looking at the mugshot. Poor little puppy dog eyes and pouty lips. I’m sure she’s sorry now, but that does not make the actions she chose to take that day disappear.
I feel really bad for her sister, Lori, who will have this horrible memory of her wedding day for the rest of her life. I hope Lori got a few good licks in before they got seperated, but by the pic, I am guessing no. The little selfish bitch needs her kids taken away and to be put in anger management with supervised visitation when she does get to see her kids again.

Wonder how Annmarie IS gonna explain her behavior to her kids? I’m betting the blame lands squarely on Lori’s shoulders when Annmarie makes her excuses. She just seems the type to never take responsibility for her own actions. It’s always someone elses’ fault.
Grow up Annmarie. You have kids, dammit. Try setting a GOOD example for once and quit blaming others for your stupidity, irresponsibility and failures in life.

We joke now (and rightly so) but this is clearly a case where the children need to be taken away from her. If she’s willing to do that to her own sister, what do you think she’ll do to her kids if they tick her off?

What? Was Lori marrying Annmarie’s ex boyfriend or something? How uncouth can a girl get? Mmmm, I’ma guessing Annmarie was probably forced to resign as dispatcher! They do have a code to live by, considering, dispatchers have access to info, that most people don’t, I’m surprised they don’t charge her with “actions unbecoming of an officer”, even if she wasn’t in uniform!!! How embarassing, lettin’ the whole world know how selfish & jealous she is…. Her own SISTER, Dam!!!!

Yeah Medea, I’m sure the resignation was forced too, because you are considered a LEO as a dispatcher when working for a PD or SO, and they nearly always have explicit employment rules regarding their employee’s criminal records.
It looks like she has some long term personal dysfunction going on, since her alleged reason for being there was, ” ‘just wanted to talk’ to her sister and parents about family problems.”. I’m thinking that the family only had one problem, and that would be Annmarie herself.
What sucks even more than ruining her sister’s wedding memories, IMO, is the fact that Annmarie’s children had to watch her show her ugly ass while she pitched a self-righteous and violent hissy fit because a joyous family ceremony and day were not all about her.
I hope her sister and parents had the grace and love in their hearts to bring the poor children inside and lavish them with welcoming hugs, kisses, reception goodies and huge slices of wedding cake.
LOL! Wouldn’t that just be like icing on the proverbial wedding cake?!

Well huh…… She should have known better than to go. I couldnt imagine the akwardness of being in a place when you know damn well no one wants you there… She brought this all on herself and ruined a wedding day. Hope she enjoys being a “bend over buddy behind bars” and I hope bing a psycho was worth it sweetheart!

Omg how true. She def looks like the stereotypical white trash you see on springer! Can see like four 400 lb bouncers holding her back as she’s trying to attack her again. Drugs? Crazy?
Well, that was one wedding ruined. I can’t imagine there was a lot of joy at the reception with the bride’s head covered with bloody missing chunk spots.
I think this is a good opportunity for the family to disown this case forever. Future generations will thank them.

Well, I don’t know the whole story on why the two sisters did not get along, but noone deserves to be attacked like that and especially on their wedding day. Annmarie was not invited.
She is an adult, so she’s old enough to take the ins and outs of life. She should of just allowed her sister that right to her decision to not invite her and stayed home. That would have been on her sister’s conscience for the rest of her life.
Instead, Annmarie went to the reception and attacked her, causing her sister not only phsyical harm, but heartbreak as well because now that will be a part of her wedding memories.
I’m guessing by Annmarie’s chilish reaction, this was one of the reasons she was not invited and the sister did not deserve being assaulted for something like that. Noone does!
