Evansville, IN–This story starts out much like many others on the Dreamin’ Demon. It begins with an injured and unresponsive child. The child’s mother was at work, the boyfriend/step-dad/penis of the week was babysitting. Second verse, same as the first….
Brent has a lame ass, bull-shit excuse too…just like all the other child murdering fucks featured on this site. Brent’s step-son Terrell was just laying on the bed watching a movie Tuesday evening, when Brent had to leave the room to attend to another matter. When he returned to the room, Terrell was on his back with his mouth open and his eyes rolled back into his head…he wasn’t breathing. Must have been one helluva movie to knock a kid out like that!
Brent says he attempted CPR. He couldn’t call 911 because the home phone was disconnected, so he ran to a neighbors…they didn’t answer the door. Instead of taking the boy directly to an emergency room, he decided to take him to his mother instead. Terrell’s mother, Janine Sims, called 911 from her place of employment when Brent showed up with her broken child. Medics arrived and Terrell was rushed to St. Mary’s Medical Center where he was declared dead. Terrell’s core body temp was 96…he was already cold.
Of course Brent didn’t admit to killing the child…until he heard the autopsy findings. The pathologist who performed the autopsy discovered brain swelling, a fractured upper arm, dislocated vertebrae, external and internal hemorrhages and bruising of the ribs and liver, among other injuries. A visual inspection of Terrell suggested recent and past abuse. Little Terrell Hillman was 16-months-old.
Brent Sims, 19, told investigators he’s been stressed out. He’s got financial issues and other problems in his life that had him upset. When Terrell wouldn’t stop crying, Brent lost it. He slapped the baby on the back of the head with an open hand. Surprisingly, that didn’t quiet the child, so Brent left the room. Instead of staying out of the room and collecting himself, Brent returned to the bedroom and hit Terrell again and again. Brent stated that he hit Terrell between 10-20 times…sometimes with an open hand, sometimes with a closed fist. He hit the baby in the head, chest, arms, and legs. At one point, he took to pinching the bottoms of the baby’s feet, leaving blister type injuries. Brent admitted that he didn’t ‘hit the baby as hard as he would have an adult but that it was harder than he should have hit him.’ Yeah Brent…pussies never pick on someone their own size. Asshole.
Brent Sims is being held without bond at Vanderburgh County jail facing charges of murder and neglect of a dependant causing death. I guess you don’t have to worry about that financial shit now, do ya?

OMG, Just as I was commenting on another baby being killed, here is another one!!! What is wrong?? I get sick when I read this shit. I take some solace in the fact that this bastard will get beat mercilessly in prison.

I know when you beat baby Terrell, he cried and screamed for mercy; I hope those very cries haunt you in your dreams, and that your own agony falls on deaf ears.

Angela I read that too. It gave me the impression that these parents think that babies are accessories or perhaps party favors. After the party is done, they have no use the party favors….In my opinon, some women should have their cooters sewn shot!!!

Yeah they both should rot in hell. Baby #1 wasn’t good enough for her to protect I see, now we will be reading about baby #2 in a while. Keeping my fingers crossed that the other baby does not meet the same fate.

I don’t understand how a person, with a baby that age, can’t just stick him in the crib and go outside for a smoke or toke to calm down. Crying isn’t going to hurt the baby…stay outside and let him cry himself to sleep then gather your wits about you! Stupid fucking people man!

I keep telling myself one day I am gonna log on here and not one person is gonna have beat a helpless child to death. Wishful thinking I guess. I say we find someone alot bigger then that asshole to beat him to death. I dont understand why women keep leaving their kids with their man of the week. My god… I just gave birth to a baby girl a few days ago. I look at Kahlan with awe and wonder and can’t imagine ever hurting her. Nor can anyone imagine what I would do to them should they try to hurt her. Then I read stories like this and it pisses me off so much. How can a woman choose a selfish dick over a little angel? Sounds like he DID leave the room — only to come back with his mastermind plan to beat the living crap out of this tiny, poor defenseless baby! Apparently, no one taught this asswipe how to self soothe. Instead, when he removes himself from a situation it’s only to contrive ways to make whomever pissed him off suffer for doing so – even a 16 mo. old. Douchebag – this is a BABY, not a gang-banger street thug! Tho now, I’m sure you’ll find out alot about “gang-banging” in a most painful and sexual way.
“Mom” needs to be right there, too. Autopsy revealed PAST abuse? Don’t even try to tell me “mom” didn’t see the signs – yet STILL left her helpless baby alone with this abusive fucktard. When she gives birth, let her hear her baby cry – then take that baby away to a loving, safe home with a quickness. She doesn’t deserve children. She failed in the worst way to protect her son… NO SECOND CHANCES!

My son is 14 months old. He has a cold. He cries a lot and doesn’t sleep well. Every time he throws a fit or keeps me up half the night I think about this site and all the atrocities posted here every day. I imagine that there is a sick or cranky little baby out there getting punched in the face for it. I pretty much have to wrestle my son just to wipe the snot off his face. Even babies are fighters. I imagine the force these sick freaks much have to use to hold them down and hurt them. All mothers/fathers get to the point that they feel like they will break. What does it take to cross the line? I, myself, have had to put him in the crib and walk outside. I feel guilty for even that. I can’t imagine the terror this poor babies must feel. The utter confusion.
I try to stop coming to this site. I try every day.

This year has started out as beat your kid or girl friends kid to death year. These dip heads are even starting a new rountine of not directly to the hospital but to momma’s work-look what I did while you are at work. Then the string of excuses-financial stress, childhood background, etc… Then the friends and family of ass wipe -he would never do this. There must be a kill a kid kit on the net somewhere-they all do the same bull shit. This is just beyond evil-

I couldn’t believe I came on and found yet another innocent baby beaten to death. When are these idiots going to realize that a crying baby can NOT be soothed with a beating? We all know that babies don’t come with a manual but, with a tiny bit of effort you can usually find out whats causing their distress. sometimes they’re just exhausted (the babies) and need to cry themselves to sleep. Sometimes it takes a LOT of effort but the end result will be that they’re happy and so are you! I just read somewhere “a Mother is as sad as her saddest child” and I thought it was very truthful. If one of my boys is sad, I can’t be happy until I see that they’re okay.
There are so many avenues when you have a child that is testing your patience, my sister’s 2nd baby had colic and cried more than not, when it got to be too much, she’d put the baby in her crib, go to the other end of their tiny house (it was only 3 rooms – 2 babies & 2 adults!) and she’d get in a closet and call me or our Mom – talking to another adult worked wonders and either my niece cried herself to sleep or my sister would re-group after her own crying session and could go back to consoling her litte wonder. She and her husband never once thought “oh – if I hit her she’ll stop”
Rest in Peace little angel. I hope your new little sister or brother has a better life than you received. Learn from this Mommy!!!!!!

Lets see…theres about the same age difference between him and I as he was to the baby and I have a lot of stress and financial issues. Can I beat on him too??? With the rage I feel about this, I believe that he would be considered about as defenseless as this poor baby was that day. Sickening.
