…Timothy looks really scared in that mug shot, doesn’t he? Looks like he might bust out bawling at any second. And for good reason. He killed his 5-month-old son, Ayden Harley.
On January 15, Timothy Danielson, 24, called 911 to report that his son wasn’t breathing. Little Ayden was rushed to Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, where he was pronounced dead early FridayFriday reviews
morning. DoctorsDoctors reviews noticed injuries consistent with physical abuse and the authorities were brought in.
In an interview with police, Danielson admitted to purposely harming Ayden by ‘restricting his breathing’. A nice way of saying the asshole smothered his child. He admitted to previous abuse of the child as well. In fact, a couple of witnesses came forward and stated that they had witnessed Danielson punching the child in the stomach in the past couple of months. They also said that Danielson would squeeze the baby tightly in anger. Police said that two of the baby’s relatives were present when the baby was injured.
Now…let’s back the fuck up for a minute. It’s bad enough that the child’s father abused and smothered him, no doubt. But, there were witnesses to previous abuse and nobody said a word until now? Nobody did anything after watching Ayden get punched in the gut by his father? Nobody? And these asswipes were related to the baby? Where was Ayden’s mother? Was she one of the witnesses? I do believe that there should be two more mug shots up there with Danielson’s.
Timothy Danielson did say he was sorry though. He realizes that he shouldn’t have taken his anger out on his son. Oooh, well in that case, all is forgiven, right? Wrong! Danielson is being held on $500,000 bond and is facing charges of second-degree murder. The charge doesn’t seem to fit the crime and I’m hoping that they slap a first-degree murder charge on him.
Danielson just completed nearly a year of probation in December, after being arrested for violation of an order of protection. He was arrested on that charge in May of 2007, entered a guilty plea in MarchMarch reviews of 2008, and placed on probation. There are no other details. On another note, those ears of his are gonna make mighty fine handles in the big house. Enjoy your stay Timothy.

So there are some things I would like to know…
-Where was the mom?
-If not in the picture, did he have full custody?
-Who were the family members? Were they directly related to Timothy (not that it really matters) just curious
-Does he have a history of violence?
-Order of protection against who?

If the order of protection involved the child’s mother and now she ends up w/ a 5 mo old with him – now a dead 5 mo old – she can’t be surprised! And she should be at fault too. How much abuse can a 5 mo old take? How much can you inflict without anyone noticing? No wait…he did this in front of witnesses on more than one occasion! So there really is NO excuse at all as to how this happened in the first place!

And, along with what everyone else has mentioned, where was the mom this whole time? Did he have sole custody? If so, I can’t even imagine what type of person she must be.
But if I witnessed something like this happening, I would’ve taken the child and ran far away and worried about the consequences later. Appears like Timmy hung out with a fine group of folks.

Ya know this reminds me of something that I witnessed when I was a child while out running errands with my dad. There was a woman who was shouting “someone help me” while a man had his arms wrapped around her and it appeared that they were in some sort of argument/scuffle. My dad being a complete stranger to these people STILL felt it was necessary to approach them to see what the hell was going on and made sure that the woman was ok. Now…I see this story about a baby who gets punched in the stomach in front of not one but two witnesses who apparently know the baby and his father and they do absoFUCKINGlutely NOTHING about it???? What the fuck!! RIP Ayden. Fuck right off Timothy.

I’m seeing a pattern here that is very disturbing. My belief is these persons killing these infants and small children are unable to cope with the responsibility necessary to care for these children. It is a huge job being a parent. You must make sacrafices to be a good parent. These dead beat dads are unable to do that. The women or girls that give birth to these babies do not have a clue what it takes to care for an infant. So the next thing that happens, the dead beat dad leaves, (can’t take the stress) the new boyfriend moves in, he can’t stand a crying baby, time given by the girlfriend to the baby, he gets fed up and beats the child, and in more cases than all of us can believe, kills the child. Birth control is the answer. DON”T have babies. If we could go back in time when two persons fell in love, got MARRIED, had a baby, built a family unit and cared for each other and stayed together. It’s to bad this generation doesn’t have a clue how to live happily ever after. I have been married for 30 years, raised 4 children, and now am enjoying my grandchildren. My parents taught me this is the pathway to happiness. Anyone reading this should think about how they want thier children to grow up and look back on the parenting they recieved.

I can only imagine that, like you say, he probably was not crying while he squeezed Ayden’s little body so tight and covered his face so he could smother his cries for help.
I doubt if he was crying at all during the many previous instances when he abused Ayden and punched the little baby in the stomach.
It is not all his fault! It is EVERYONE’S fault who witnessed that poor baby’s abuse by him and did NOTHING to help SAVE Ayden!

Apparently, you didn’t know him very well! I’m sorry were you there when he was killing his baby to say he was crying. If so why didn’t you stop him? Or, are you saying he cried after the fact because he was arrested? Yea, that’s what I thought. He never meant to kill Ayden, seems to me he did because he intentionally suffocated his son. No, I wasn’t there, but I know him PERSONALLY. You don’t even know the story, you just hear about it on the god damn news. I hear about it from the SOURCE. He called my dad crying before Ayden had even gotten airlifted to the hospital. All you people know is what happened AFTER Ayden died, not what happened BEFORE.

You weren’t there so then you can’t claim he never meant to kill his son or was crying because of killing him. He was crying because he knew he was in trouble and was going to be arrested for murder and was scared as he should be. I don’t care what happened before he killed Ayden. Ayden was a defense less baby that had not one person protecting him from his piece of shit father. There is no excuse for what he did and you need to wake the hell up and realize that. Danielson, the baby’s mother, Samantha L. Garrett, and Ayden lived at her parents’ home in the 2000 block of Williamstown Drive. Police said that two of the baby’s relatives and a house guest were inside the home when the baby was injured. Police refused to disclose their identities.
The baby’s grandfather, Ed Garrett, said the family is devastated. “There was no reason for it,” he said. “No reason at all. If I saw him (Danielson), I’d kill him.”
