Corpus Christi, TX–On Saturday, January 3, 20-month-old Briana Williams was brought into Driscoll Children’s Hospital. Little Briana was in bad shape. She had a blown pupil, severe brain injuries and bruises…old and new. She needed surgery to relieve the swelling inside her skull. A normal mother would have been frantic! Pacing the halls, demanding information and action. What was little Briana’s mother doing? Giggling on the phone with her boyfriend.
Before Briana underwent surgery, her mother, 19-year-old Katelyn Webb, was asked if there was anyone she could contact to help her make some decisions. Webb called her boyfriend, 24-year-old Anthony Samora. Instead of discussing her critically injured daughter, Webb was giggling on the phone. So much so, that a nurse had to interrupt Webb’s important telephone conversation to ask, again, if there was anyone she could contact. This, in itself, raised a few red flags.
After some initial questioning, a timeline formed. Katelyn told investigators that Briana had fallen asleep at Anthony’s house at about 11:00 p.m. FridayFriday reviews
evening. Katelyn left the residence to pick up some items at Briana’s bio-daddy’s house. Anthony was left alone with Briana. He stated that Briana started foaming at the mouth and vomiting heavily, symptoms consistent with Shaken Baby Syndrome, at about 3:00 a.m. SaturdaySaturday reviews
morning. At Anthony’s insistence, Katelyn did not seek medical treatment for Briana for another 6 hours. Katelyn arrived at the hospital with Briana at 8:50 that morning. At this point, neither of the assholes were even considered a suspect. But, based on a history of substance abuse and domestic violence in the home, Briana was put into protective custody.
Investigators were trying to get to the bottom of the story, but Katelyn couldn’t come up with even one consistent story. Anthony had stated that he was playing with Briana, ‘tossing her in the air, and rolling her out of a blanket.’ And, of course, he denied hurting her. Still, no arrests were made.
Meanwhile, Briana had undergone surgery. Emergency surgery was done on her skull to allow the brain to expand. Part of her brain had to be removed. Briana will never fully recover from the injuries she suffered…she is permanently brain damaged. Way to go Anthony, ya asshole.
Finally, on January 12, Katelyn Webb was arrested and charged with child endangerment. Anthony, baby-beating pussy that he is, went into hiding. He later turned himself in to Nueces County Sheriff’s Department where he now sits in jail with bond of $150,000. He’s being charged with injury to a child.
There is probably a lot more to this story than what I am finding. I know one thing for sure, Anthony has a lot of defenders. Judging by some of the comments on different news sites, you would think he walks on water and heals the blind! Amazing guy! The other side of the fence says he’s an abusive asshole…Katelyn has been seen sporting bruises and bite marks. All I know is this..babies don’t just shake themselves stupid, they gotta have a little help with it. And to wait for almost 6 fucking hours, while your child is foaming at the mouth and vomiting, all at the insistence of a penis, you don’t deserve to be blessed with a child. Bitch.

Seriously, stories like these are nausiating. There are people in this world that would love and care for this little girl. If young, ignorant parents dont want their kids…. they have options and they know that! I just cannot comprehend how you shake and/or even concider harming a baby. I mean how does that even cross your mind? In the worst of worst days…. It still wouldnt even cross my mind. Again, i hope justice is saught. This poor innocent little girl will forever be scarred. On her myspace it says that her daughter goes to the daycare/preschool that she works at, yet NOBODY picked up on these bruises or bites?
I sincerely hope that her mom was not trying to making her “grow up” and take her own kid, having that backfire on her. Sometimes parents do that (Caylee Anthony case comes to mind) trying to teach the young mother to take responsibility and this is what happens. If that’s the case I do feel bad for Katlynns mom too.

In a few reports, it is stated that the father of the child had custody and she only had visitation rights. So really, she didn’t grow up, the father of the child did.

Holy Shit! I’m a little slow this morning but it finally clicked just now. This bitch is a preschool teacher and a stupid one at that. She has pictures of the children that she teaches on her Myspace AND says where she works. As a former daycare teacher, I can tell you I’m not even supposed to talk about the children I teach with other teachers using identifying information, let alone post their pictures on Myspace.
I just did a search on the daycare and they have bad reviews so I guess its fitting that she works for them. Apparently they have a tendency not to notice bite marks and bruises (parents say they happened at the school), neglect the children, and poorly staffed.
Well, I can agree with the poorly staffed part.

Oh my god! This is so infuriating…Why ae the children in this world always the ones to suffer the most? She was a beautiful, precious little baby with soft baby skin, and all you wanna do is scoop her up and hug her-make her laugh at silly things and watch her grow into a beautiful woman-one hopefully more intelligent than her mother. She is not gonna see those opportunities-all because her mother was stupid and had no self control or self respect for that matter. Poor little Briana, it breaks my heart to know, she is barly clinging to life and might not make it, even if she does, she will never be the same little girl who was so full of life and joy.

I’ve cared for children that were victims of Shaken Baby Syndrome. As an ER nurse, I’ve seen plenty of tragic things. NOTHING compared to those poor babies and the “lives” they live if they’re not fortunate enough to die from their injuries.
Now before anyone jumps on me for saying they’re unfortunate for living, you must understand the life these babies are suffering: unable to speak, see, confined to diapers, physically deformed as a result of their injuries, not even able to do something so simple as make eye contact when you speak to them, the list goes on and on…..
Katelyn is a psycho bitch who should be locked up for the rest of her life and beaten with a Louisville slugger every day to remind her of the pain and suffering her baby is living. As a “caregiver” for children at a daycare, she had to have basic first aid training and never mind all that SHE’S HER MOTHER. I would have to be shot in the head and bleeding to death to not take my child for emergency treatment, call an ambulance, call a neighbor, fuck DO SOMETHING besides watch her writhe in agony. Penis must have some sort of magic trick that just hypnotized her shit to make her not get care for her gravely injured child!

Just wanted everyone to know that Briana went through another surgery today to have the fluid drained from her brain and now the doctors will watch her to see how that goes. This is so unfortunate and I hope that Anthony and Katlyn get what they deserve for this. I would like for someone to take them out and beat the crap out of them and leave them there clinging to life and helpless with no way to call for help. Just like Briana couldn’t call for help. Well maybe she did but her sorry excuse for a mother didn’t listen. Now she will suffer for the rest of her life.

If you know the Webb’s…you know that MOST of them are SCUM!! Katlyn has ALWAYS been an unfit Mother, that’s why Jacolby has custody of Briana to begin with. CPS should have continued making Katlyn have supervised visits with Briana (like she had in the past), and none of this shit would be happening right now. Im Chancy Little first timer…. but personality katlyn is best of in jail because she almost got her ass whoop from me!!! if i ever do get the chance i will! the father jacolby williams was and has been a good father he should be able to just keep custody! he’s been at the hospital every night since she was brought in they even gave him is own room there. briana was a regular babii gurl livin a regular life untill this stupid ass bitch let some other mann put his hands on her own child… all i can say is it couldnt be me! jacolby williams was my first love and have always kept in touch we planned on movin to our own place in austin where we would take care of babii briana and now this happened. i keep her in my prays to give her stregth and when she does recover from this then it will be a life changing experince for the three of us.i will do my best the all i can do to do what i can…. i will try to keep yall up dated with the info. i get from him. all we ask for is some blessings… no one deserves this i dont understand what was going thro katlyn’s head how could this happen??? i would’ve took her in and gave her the love babii briana deserved!!!

I was at Driscolls at the time that Briana was in there as well. My child was admitted into the same PICU unit at her. Let me tell you Briana is a fighter. Everyday she proved the doctors wrong. Besides the fact that someone as innocent as her was going through so much the sad part was also the fact that her biological father treated the hospital like if it was some sort of vacation destination. They had to kick his girlfriend out of the hospital room were they were staying. It was hard to see that while his daughter was fighting for her life he was in the family waiting rooms laughing and making out with his girlfriend. The social workers would have to ASK HIM to go in and spend time with Briana. My son was not nearly as critial as Briana, but I was with him 24/7. How parents can just treat their kids like just some sort of accessory is unimaginable. My kids are a part of me when they hurt I hurt.

Why is it the fuckers who do not deserve precious children reproduce like rabbits while the most loving and devoted people i know can not have babies no matter how hard they try…to anyone out there struggling with stress/depression, buy a fucking punching bag, join a gym, let someone trust worthy and reliable watch the child and go for a long walk, but do not EVER lay your hands in such a manner on any child. Hands are to hold your little one(s) and wipe away tears, not to push, shake or hit and cause them tears. Next time count to ten and do the right fucking thing…
