Thomas Louis Van-Hook
Jasper, TX–Thomas Van-Hook, 55, is offering up cheap babysitting services. For a paltry $12.00, Van-Hook will take care of the little buggers for the entire weekend. You must be thinking to yourself, ‘What’s the catch?’ Well, Van-Hook has one requirement…they must be female children and they must be between the ages of 11 months and 9 years.
Over the last couple of weeks, Van-Hook’s flyers have been popping up all over the place in Jasper County. Here is a copy of the ad:
Being that this is the Dreamin’ Demon, you probably aren’t surprised at the fact that Van-Hook is a registered sex offender. He has victimized at least three little girls in the past; a 3-year-old in 1986, and two girls, aged 4 and 6, in 1995. He was convicted each time for indecency with a child by exposing himself. And here he is in 2009 looking for some new victims.
Authorities were having a difficult time trying to find a way to charge Van-Hook with a crime…he was off parole and had completed all necessary sentencing requirements. Van-Hook had no stipulations to stay away from children, even though he is classified as a high-risk offender.
A law enforcement source told The Examiner that Van-Hook’s latest victim may be a 2-year-old girl. ‘From what I was told they began investigating this after a little girl was left with him,’ the source said. ‘Because she is so young she can’t make an outcry and unless he injured her the exam isn’t going to reveal anything. And because he has served his time, I am not sure what we can do about it until he victimizes another child. This guy is a sick bastard.’ I second that.
Authorities stated that they are not aware of anyone that has responded to Van-Hook’s advertisements, nor are they aware of any recent victims. They do wish to speak with anyone who may have left their child with Van-Hook. I’d also like to have a word or two with any parent that would leave their child with a pervy old geezer.
To top off the whole ‘ick’ factor, in 2004, Van-Hook fired off a 7-page letter to Procter & Gamble Company, the makers of Pampers diapers. Van-Hook asked them if they would show more genital shots in their commercials. He thought that their commercials should show a little girl laying on a couch for a diaper change ‘with her little legs wide open.’ He also thinks that diaper wipes should be used on girls as old as nine. This was the closing line in his nasty manifesto folks; ‘there should not be a problem of your showing a nine-year-old girl’s beautiful, pretty little hairless …’ Um, W.T.F. The P & G Company shot a copy of the letter to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department.
The sheriff’s department must have come up with something, Van-Hook was arrested Friday. He’s being held on $300,000 bond. I’m not finding a whole lot of information on this guy and I have no idea what he is being charged with. Let’s hope that whatever they charge him with, it sticks.
