Rickeeta Johnson Helped Rape Her Daughter

Atlanta, GA – Some women will do anything to keep a man. And some women are just sick bitches who enjoy watching others suffer. Rickeeta Johnson might be both. Johnson, 33, moved out of her marriage bed so that her husband, Donquan Rushin, could fill the spot – with the couple’s young daughter.

Johnson and Rushin’s daughter was raped repeatedly by her father over a long period of time. The charges filed on December 31, 2008 cover a six-month time span in 2007. Rushin, 33, would make the girl stand in the middle of a room for hours if she resisted his advances – sometimes until 3 a.m. When the child became exhausted, she would give in to her parents and submit to rape and molestation just so she would be allowed to get some sleep.

Rickeeta Johnson bought the girl alcohol and plied her with vodka to help keep her compliant. When the girl complained, Rickeeta told her to just “lie back and do it.” Now, that’s some helpful advice, right there, Rickeeta. Johnson also moved into a second bedroom – and moved her child into Daddy’s bed. For ease of access, apparently.

My research indicates that the victim in this case was about eleven years old in 2007. However, I have not been able to run down an exact age for the girl – and really, does it matter? I’m not going to give you her name. It’s more than enough I’ve profiled her parents here. Fact is, Rickeeta Johnson and Donquan Rushin are the kind of parents no child needs, whether she’s six or sixteen.

During a CPS investigation into the girl’s reported abuse, Johnson and Rushin admitted raping and molesting their daughter. And in Georgia, if a parent stands by and allows or assists with abuse, that parent can be charged with the actual abuse. Now that’s a law a lot of states need to enact. While I’m sickened by Donquan Rushin’s rape and abuse of his daughter, I am horrified at Rickeeta Johnson’s disregard for her little girl.

Warrants were issued for the couple on New Year’s Eve. On January 5, Rickeeta Johnson was booked into the Clayton County Jail and charged with rape, sodomy, statutory rape, incest, aggravated child molestation, enticing a child, and providing alcohol to a minor. Her bond was denied on Tuesday, January 6, and she remains in custody pending trial.

Donquan Rushin, however, is still at large. Warrants have been issued for his arrest on the same seven charges his wife is facing. Police believe that Rushin and Johnson separated after talking to police and Child Protective Services, and that Rushin has fled to avoid prosecution.

I am alone in the house… as I got to the end of the first paragraph I found myself talking out loud (to no one) saying “Oh, no she didn’t!” But, oh yes she did.
When my cat bit me the receptionist at the doctor’s office asked where it was then quickly said she didn’t want to know if the cat wasn’t still around. What does it say about me that I was more shocked that she had to qualify the question that way than I am about what this female birth organism (to steal a description from Trench) did to her kid?

The movie is very contraversial. You are correct in your statement. It’s contrversial if and when you dont see the big picture and you focus on the things that happen. However, the fact is, racism is a part of history-As with the hollocaust. The point of the movie is not to encourage racism. Though the movie revolves around racism; it is shown through white and black eyes. What you are leaving out is that not only are black men murdered, many white lives are taken as well. The movie displays life on city streets. Also, while in jail, the racist main character becomes acquainted with a black man and they become friends. The main character no longer sees life through racist eyes when he leaves prison and encourages his younger racist brother to give blacks an equal chance. Im not going to carry on… I highly reccomend the movie. I think its very informative, dramatic, and I think it contains many valuable lessons.

I do however, regardless of other opinions, feel the father deserves the “curb treatment”, and I would feel the same way if he were white. Color of skin has no bearing on the “crime”. It is very disturbing and whenever I hear someone reference it -my skin crawls. That movie scene brings to mind humans being dragged down streets and decapitation. I could go on but won’t as this is not the forum for a continued discussion on the topic of hate crimes.
The movie is very contraversial. You are correct in your statement. It’s contrversial if and when you dont see the big picture and you focus on the things that happen. However, the fact is, racism is a part of history-As with the hollocaust. The point of the movie is not to encourage racism. Though the movie revolves around racism; it is shown through white and black eyes. What you are leaving out is that not only are black men murdered, many white lives are taken as well. The movie displays life on city streets. Also, while in jail, the racist main character becomes acquainted with a black man and they become friends. The main character no longer sees life through racist eyes when he leaves prison and encourages his younger racist brother to give blacks an equal chance. Im not going to carry on… I highly reccomend the movie. I think its very informative, dramatic, and I think it contains many valuable lessons.

Rescues are full of crazy people. I thought the saga of Ellen Degeneres and her puppy taught us all that.
Ellen did that to herself by taking that puppy to her home after signing a contract saying she was adopting that dog then GAVE IT AWAY that made her contract Nul & Void.Although I dont agree the way it was handled thats a totally diff country then where I live and that woman had a screw loose and was looking for attention.That doesnt make all people that work with animal rescues crazy.

Im not trying to attack anyone but there are so many fucking cat ladies out there with no licence and yet the minute anyone raises any questions they claim its a “rescue”.Its not a rescue its a fucking cat collector.If you are looking to adopt check the licence,check with Humane Society in your area they can tell point blank whos on the up and up.Call BBB they have records.If you see someone with no licence and 20 cats run,wash your hands and clothes and run before your around any other pets because theres a good chance that house is carrying a disease through the cats and I learned the hard way.Tried to help someone (old lady with M.S) and her cats were indoor/outdoor and carried mega disease she said they had shots they didnt.And I lost 2 of my older ones that had shots but were so old even that couldnt help them beat the illness and I learned the hardway but NOBODY that comes to my rescue/home can even touch a animal until they wash their hands with antiseptic and douse their hands in Purell.So just dont put everyone in the same catagory because of a few assholes.

Just to be clear – I didn’t say all people involved in animal rescue are crazy. I said rescues are full of crazy people. And I know it’s inflammatory, but I stand by my opinion. I’ve worked with and volunteered for rescues, spent years fostering dogs, so it’s not as though I’ve based my opinion on Elllen’s experience, I just thought that highlighted nationally the problems in adopting a pet from a rescue. I don’t believe you ladies are crazy, or cat collectors – and cat ladies aren’t what I had in mind when I used the word crazy. See, 3 unannounced visits? To me, that’s crazy. My family doesn’t even visit me unannounced. Even if you’re already pulling onto my street, you better call before knocking on the door, heh.

Just to be clear – I didn’t say all people involved in animal rescue are crazy. I said rescues are full of crazy people. And I know it’s inflammatory, but I stand by my opinion. I’ve worked with and volunteered for rescues, spent years fostering dogs, so it’s not as though I’ve based my opinion on Elllen’s experience, I just thought that highlighted nationally the problems in adopting a pet from a rescue. I don’t believe you ladies are crazy, or cat collectors – and cat ladies aren’t what I had in mind when I used the word crazy. See, 3 unannounced visits? To me, that’s crazy. My family doesn’t even visit me unannounced. Even if you’re already pulling onto my street, you better call before knocking on the door, heh.

Thank you. That is simply the point I was making. I certainly did not mean to offend to anyone. The movie is very informative. I also, have black friends. I would NEVER suggest a certain punishment based on skin color/sexual orientation/religion..etc. The movie is a hit amung not just the white population, but the black population as well. I agree, it should be taught as a part of high school cirriculum. I dare reccomend “High School”, as the movie contains violence and crude language, but it truly is an amazing movie.
