L to R: Michael Clemmons, Luster Lewis, John Foster

Santa Ana, CA - Ruby’sRuby reviewsRuby reviews crime tip of the day:  If you’re going to commit a violent crime, please have the common sense not to videotape it.    You see, if you do, then someone may just pass that tape along to authorities and get your ass thrown in jail.

I shouldn’t have to tell you people this stuff, really.  But it seems this thought never occurred to Michael Alexander Clemmons, Luster Mitchell Lewis, or John Paul Foster II, because they raped an unconscious woman and taped the assault.

Their dark secret unraveled last week when an unidentified person gave Tustin, CA police a 19-minute videotape of the crime.   Clemmons, 19, and Lewis, 20 — both football players at Santa Ana College — raped and sexually assaulted an apparently unconscious 18-year-old woman in a variety of ways while Foster, 22, filmed them.  Then Foster switched places with one of the others to keep things, you know, fair.

The rape took place in an Orange CountyOrange County reviewsOrange County reviews hotel last July, and, depending upon who you believe, the victim either passed out during a party, or was drugged.   The men are repeatedly seen slapping her, holding her nose closed, and telling her to “wake up!”

Police were able to quickly locate the woman, and notify her of the tape (and, perhaps, of the crime.)    The asshats each pleaded not guilty to six counts of rape and sexual assault and are each being held on $100,000 bail.

I really hope this chick was passed out, and that she opts to not view the tape. That might at least limit this potentially life-shattering victimization.

This, in my opinion, really speaks to the objectification of women within the football community – an objectification that football hoochies contribute to pretty strongly. So many women throw themselves at football players, allowing them to perform any degrading acts they want, simply to be in their presence… How long will it be before those men fail to view women like that as anything BUT sexual objects?

You know Athena I was thinking the same thing. Almost like it is a football players privilege. Very narcissitic.

Not saying all football players are like that though, I did know some that weren’t like that so please don’t go bashing me football players if we have any!

Courage comes in numbers they say…I bet none of these kids would have done this w/out the others there! I hope they get just what they deserve…no mercy, no sympathy. Ugh that poor girl. I wonder if this leaked out onto the internet before that smart individual turned them in???? I wonder if the chick knew them beforehand? Wow. For college students they acted really DUMB and irresponsible! Thankfully they got caught.

Instead of bashing these young men and wishing misfortune you guys should really feel some pity for them. We should be asking ourselves what made them think recording and doing this was ok? did they even realize what they were doing was wrong and illlegal? your answer might be “just cause theyre dumb”, but its deeper then that. They were all respectful and loved by many people. I’ve spent a lot of time with these kids and know that they were good kids. That had good things going for them and ONE EXTREMELY STUPID mistake changed all of that. Im not defending what they did because it was wrong and deserves punishment, but this one big mistake shouldnt warrant some of these comments. These guys have families and its hard enough for them to have to read this article and to have to scroll down and read some of these things make it only worse.

Bullshit!!! If they were such good people, they wouldn’t have raped and unconscious/drugged woman and videotaped it. If you don’t like what we’re saying, then don’t come back. And what they did was not a mistake. A mistake is misspelling a word and not correcting it. Or wearing the wrong color foundation. This was a decision they made together.

What kind of vile creature calls the gang rape of a defenseless woman a “mistake”?

I’m going to try to explain something to you, although, considering your above statements, I cannot hope for you to grasp it. A big, huge, stupid mistake is something like street racing, or maybe even drunk driving. A person has an err in judgment and acts carelessly, but not with the intent to victimize anyone. These young men, as good as you may have thought them to be, intended to victimize an innocent person for the sake of entertainment. ENTERTAINMENT! And the depraved individuals felt so little for their victim, they were disrespectful enough to tape this deplorable act so that they could, a.) relive it at a later date, or b.) victimize her further by sharing it with people who may have known her.

These young men are nearly the worst sort of offenders, too. They are the scavengers of the predator world. Unable or unwilling to chase down their victims, they opportunistically waited for a defenseless individual to present themself, like vultures are attracted to a carcass. Only, worse than necrophilia, this feeding resulted in a victim that has to live for the rest of her life with what these young men callously did to her.

Ma’am (I assume you are a woman, as men are rarely irrational in this nature), you are mistaken about them being good. You see, goodness is an inherent quality that renders people incapable of this particular brand of victimization. If even ONE of those boys had been good, he would have acted to prevent the rape. Because that’s what good people do. No – these boys were bad people who have simply never fucked up on this scale before, their malignant qualities laying dormant, hidden, until opportunity presented itself.

The best you can do is think that they were good (and even that is inaccurate for the reasons laid out), since, as we say in the manufacturing world, one “Aw, shit!” cancels a thousand “atta boys”.

As for the families of these disgusting young men? I, as a female, am personally offended by the actions of these despicable creeps, and I will not refrain from comment out of respect for anyone but the victim, should she request. Life is terribly unfair and, sometimes, we must come to face the fact that we’ve loved monsters. That’s the worst part, isn’t it? That you can’t imagine – you can’t comprehend that people you trusted with your compassion are capable of such a terrible crime?

I sympathize. I really do. It is for that reason that I would advise family members of the accused to avert their eyes.

These boys didn’t think what they were doing was okay – they KNEW it was wrong and didn’t think they’d get caught. But even if, in some strange universe, they could possibly think that the gang rape of an incapacitated woman was okay, pity sure as HELL ain’t the solution.

    THANKS for the input MOM!

As these “young men” are being cornholed, may they “feel pity” for the guys (also young men) taking it to ‘em from behind, after all they (bubba and the crew) are “loved by many people” and they “were good kids” at one time too. Also, it’d be even better if there is at least two others around to watch… and to add to the humiliation that’d be cool, but at least there will be no video of it!

When did raping defenseless girls become a “mistake”>???Respectful???C’mon parents teach respect so I guess these parents of the 3 have no morals or respect for women!!20,22,18 “kids” nope they are adults.IF they can send 18,19,20 yr old men to war and consider them adults then I guess the law is a 20,22,& 18 yr old are adults as well!!!”Pity” c’mon are you fucking on crack???Did they even know this was illegal and wrong,,?are you for real??? A fucking young child old knows thats a crime,so unless these are fucking in bred hill billy crack heads they know it was ILLEGAL.They did 1 thing wrong and deserve punishment??Well consider this Andrew Luster kinda odd they share a name and they both drug and rape women isnt it??Anyhow Andrew Luster heir to the Max Factor make up dynasty also drugged and raped women and even his millions couldnt save him hes serving a 124 yr sentence so lets hope these 3 dumb ass fucking chuckle heads get the same judge.I am in shock that anyone would come here and defend these 3 idiots.Tell you what how about they split the 124 yr sentence 3 ways and serve 41.3 yrs each??Is that better for you??O.K ill ask myself what couldve made them do this as you requested ,,I think they got away with anything they wanted at Santa Ana College because they are “football players” and alot of shit happens at some schools and they sweep it under the rug just to make sure that school wins tthe games thats what I think couldve made them do this NO ACCOUNTABILITY as long as they play football. And before anyone jumps on me I said “SOME SCHOOLS” .Who knows maybe there are more tapes out there that will come in.I firmly believe your a parent to one of them or a coach attempting to sway the public opinion so you can got to court and say “what great kids they are” and what makes me think your more of a coach/teacher more then a parents is the way you phrase it “these kids, young men” you sound like a coach. So please dont post shit like that on a post of them taping and raping unconcious women. And when you go visit them make sure you tell them about Andrew Luster and his 124 yr sentence

I am hoping she was unconscience and not aware of what was happening for those 19 mins. plus I hope there is no further brain damage from the overdose of drugs. It’s comments like yours that exemptifies my screen name. Excuses for devious acts of hate and stupidity have become the norm. If every family had one member that committed a heinous crime (such as this one) the prisons would be even MORE crowded. I do hope that you realize that I do understand people make mistakes. But what these boys did is an act of depravity. Nothing you say can change that fact. I have fortunately never been a victim of rape, but I understand that it is a traumatic anf life changing event in a persons life. I made that comment tongue and cheek, but if it did happen maybe they would get an inkling of what they put that girl through. The only thind worse than rape is child rape IMHO

Since when is raping an onconscious female a “mistake”. A “mistake”, like earlier said, can be fixed. You can never undo rape. You cant give this girl back the innocence stripped from her. College aged men…they know what they are doing. If they are capable of grasping the concept of sex/rape then they know the consequenses. Dont tell me they made a mistake. People who take advantage of others are fucking cowards. They are far too lame to do things the old fashioned way. They get girls drunk and/or drug them and rape em. Why…because thats what boys do…boys will be boys… IM NOT FUCKING BUYING IT!!! This is unacceptable … I have no pitty for them! They are pieces of shit that will never amount to anything and people making excuses for them is almost as nausiating as what they have done.

In the case that these boys are “mentally incompetant”, lawyers and doctors will deal with that…but il bet my life that the assclowns got drunk, saw opportunity “ah-knocking”, and they acted. They deserve what they’ve got coming to em. Dont worry tho boys, Bubba has been waiting for some fresh meat! :)

It is never the victims fault but come on ladies…I went to one college frat party and never went back. No good will ever come of hanging out with a bunch of drunk immature BOYS. This kind of thing happens every weekend at college campuses across America. Guess what when it does it is almost impossible to prove because #1 drunk/drugged people have difficulty remembering details #2 hard time finding willing witnesses (cause chances are if they weren’t raping you they were watching) #3 Even if you tell you will probably take the blame for putting yourself in the situation.

If this crime wasn’t taped these guys probably would have never been charged. It’s a harsh truth people.

Another harsh truth is that people will blather on with implicit blame for the victim. Saying, “It’s never the victims’ fault, BUT…” pretty much means you think it’s the victim’s fault. So, you know, STFU. Nobody goes to a party hoping to be drugged and raped. And nobody should have to stay away from a party specifically so they won’t be drugged and raped. What’s next? Don’t walk to your car alone, ever, so you won’t be raped? Don’t stay in your home alone during the day (when most rapes happen), ever, so you won’t be raped? It doesn’t matter what the circumstances of the rape are–it’s NEVER the victim’s fault, period. Yeah, college-age women are inexperienced and sometimes too trusting. Doesn’t mean they bear any culpability for being the victims of a violent crime, period.

And nobody goes from being a perfectly upstanding citizen to a rapist, period. I would bet HUGE money that there’s plenty of other stuff in these boys’ backgrounds that probably got overlooked, or taken off the books, because of their athletic skill, such as it is. For everyone here who is shocked, just shocked, by the accusations? I guarantee you that there are people who aren’t surprised in the slightest.

The most pathetic part of all of this is that I’m sure the whole sense of athletic entitlement that Athena speaks of played a huge role in this. But honestly? If these men were really all that, athletically? They wouldn’t be playing for fucking Santa Ana College. They’d be playing for a real football school. You know, all the Big 10 schools that don’t care how bad your grades are, or how low your IQ is, or what your juvie record is, as long as you have big-time athletic talent. I always laugh and laugh at the way so many college athletes strut around like they’re all that and a bag of Heisman chips, barely passing their courses and indulging in crime because they’re just sure they’re going to the NFL. Yeah, the NFL routinely scouts places like Santa Ana college for their draft picks. *snort* Hope you enjoyed your time as the football heroes, guys. Because, stint in the aptly-named pokey or not, you’d already pretty much hit the high point of your sad little lives.

well honestly I know that for a fact one of these guys dont have any backround, I have known them for the 5 years of my life all threw high school and shit.
