Houston, TX–Ya gotta be pretty damn drunk if the patrons at a bar call police to complain about your drunkeness. Police were dispatched to a Texas City bar FridayFriday reviews
evening after getting complaints about a seriously intoxicated woman. When officers arrived at the bar, they found Alicia Mae Herrera to be so drunk, she had to be held up by two other customers at the bar. Playing it safe, the police decided to call in an ambulance to haul the inebriated woman away. She forgot something in the parking lot though, her 2-year-old daughter.
About an hour after the police left, they got another call from the same bar. Customers reported seeing a child in the back seat of a car parked in the parking lot. When authorities returned to the bar, they found a 2-year-old child strapped into her carseat in a locked car. Police verified that the car belonged to Herrera and a tow truck driver was called in to unlock the car. The child was examined by emergency personnel and after a short visit to the local CPS office, released to her grandparents. Herrera not only left her child in the car, she also left about 15 ecstasy pills.
When it was evident that Herrera wasn’t going to die from alcohol poisoning, she was arrested and taken to jail. 22-year-old Alicia Mae Herrera is being charged with child endangerment and drug possession. Her bond has been set at $6,000. Idiot…

Idiot…. loser… just plain stupid! What the hell was she thinking? At some point she was sober and made the decision to go to a bar, leave her child unattended strapped into a carseat, and go get plastered. Hope she enjoys her new home…. and I hope she is there for a long time!

Child endangerment indeed! If that 2 yr old would have gotten a hold of those E pills…oh my! What an asshole! Only 22 yrs old…now will be labeled a child abuser for life. And we should call it what it is…what she did was not only selfish, it was dangerous for her child and extreme stupidity! Love the look on her face in the mugshot, lol.

What I will never understand is — if you want to be a loser, if you want to drink and drug it up and you don’t want your kids WHY KEEP THEM!!! I know the world isn’t low on demand of poor unwanted children but surely anything is better than being locked up in a car for hours on end and God knows what other abuse and neglect this poor baby has endured in her life.
I feel bad when I go shopping and leave the kids home with their dad!
I think we should start caning people who neglect their children for their own pleasure.

At least she has the good grace and presence of mind to look sorry, even if it is just sorry for herself. One of the few non-smug mugshots I’ve seen on DD. Really? And you’re not the only one who’s said something similar. But other than the pitiful expression, which is almost puppy dog cute, I think she’s really very pretty. A gorgeous complexion, full lips, nice nose, good cheekbones, graceful neck, hair that would have body and shine brushed… And that single little forehead line of expression – botox?? I mean then she’d have no expression! Her chin is a bit wide if I really needed to find fault. But if this girl isn’t physically pretty, that’s a helluva standard. Who do you guys think IS, exactly?
