This is actually in my area. I live about 5 mins from Foss ave where Amber was murdered. I didnt know her personally, but she seemed to be a wonderful person. The scumbag sitting in UOP should be put to death.The cops in UD said she was stabbed so many times they lost count. Her sister will no doubt be reliving this nightmare for the rest of her life.

I struggle to understand why “only the good die young”. Its not fair. I beleive thats they are put here to teach us lessons in life, and that they have a greater calling. Bless her.. and others like her. Now the “fuck” (and others like him) that took her life and shattered her dreams, Im not too sure why they are put here…but I do have my opinions on how they should leave this earth. And if I made the law…. his parents and those closest to him would not be able to recogize him. He “mudalated” that beautiful face and I would do it to him ….but twice as bad. Id make him suffer… Regardless of my opinion tho, I hope that he spends the rest of his life in prison. And in the case that he does walk the streets again, I hope he is confronted by someone that knew and loved that girl… God only knows what will happen then. What comes around goes around.

Thanks for your comments, bahaley4e, and welcome to the Dreamin’ Demon! It certainly sounds as if she was one of the “good.” She was in college, working a solid job, and leaving the bad news boyfriend behind. Sounds like she was doing everything right, if you will.
Some things, I guess, defy explanation. But they can still break our hearts, for sure.
I worry so for the 13-year-old sister, and what her life will be like now. It’s reported that Amber’s last words were, “Don’t hurt my sister! Don’t hurt my sister!” Guess who must be the one reporting those words? It’s really heartbreaking. That poor kid.

So true and how sad. Can you imagine the roller coaster of emotions that poor little girl is going though? I really hope that she has some amazing family support to help her through. This is not something she will get over quickly, if ever.

Damn. Why do these guys think this is the answer? Are ya gonna have her now asswipe? You’re a big, fat FAILURE and a waste of space on this planet! You destroyed 2 beautiful lives in one fell swoop. Think your momma’s proud of you now? I hope she HATES you as much as any one can. You don’t deserve love, comfort, joy or even oxygen! I wish I was a nurse in that hospital…. you’d get NO pain meds, and just for kicks – I’d have to put pressure on your chest wound every now and then.
Sorry… I just hate these kinds of stories. There was a time my daughter dated a guy who became obsessed with her and every day was a nightmare. Always looking over our shoulders, fearing what he might do. Thankfully, he moved on… but I know what COULD have happened.

WTF was this obsessive asshat thinking? When it’s over, it’s over. Period. No, instead this fuck-head robs the world of another person that could have made a differece. My heart goes out to the sister, who now will have to hear her brave sisters’ last words over, and over, for the rest of her life.

Absolutely horrific. How does someone get to a place that they decide to take a life in such a brutal way?? If he ever loved her he stopped the moment he even thought death was a good option. I can’t imagine the utter horror, the anguish and unforgivable grief the family is going through.
Those grieving Amber, I hope you find support, love and a way to find your way through life with out your loved one. My prayers and sympathies.
Rest in peace beautiful Amber.

This shows she was as much of a beautiful person on the inside as she was on the outside! She cared more for her sister’s safety than her own, and that was probably why she went into the house instead of backing up the car and getting the hell away from that POS.
My prayers go out to the family and especially her sister! R.I.P. Amber!

I pass by this apartment complex every day on my way to work. How sad. This was all in our local papers but they didn’t post a pic of her. Thanks DD…she was a beautiful girl.

On Tuesday around 6:00 PM, Amber returned to her parents’ home in Drexel Hill to find Freddie waiting on the porch.  It’s obvious that she was afraid of him, because her response was to run into the house, lock the door, and tell her 13-year-old sister to hide.  She probably saved her sister’s life.
we all need second chances now and then, and after something happens, wished we had done things differently… I do wonder tho was she driving – having parked the car and noticed him on the porch and drove off rather then approach him, was she walking, getting off the bus – make a dart for a neighbors house rather then approach that porch.
Being a 911 dispatcher – I would of hoped for better support system
and with Hope that she had a working cell phone to order an officer before approching this asshole… I am really sad they expect him to recover…. whaaaaaaaaaaaa
What a fuckin retard Freddie is … good thing is…. the state may keep him locked up for a very long time ……. so long that he never fathers any children with his defected sperm.

At that point, police say he plunged the knife into his own chest, and police found him on the kitchen floor, bleeding badly from the chest.  He is in critical condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, but he is expected to recover.   He will then be arraigned on one count of murder.
I hate stalkers. I hope he dies due to a rabid infection in his pathetic self-inflicted wound. It’s really too bad he was able to efficiently and horrifically murder poor Amber, but couldn’t bring the same skills to bear when he stuck himself with the knife.

he probably was a loser,who wasn’t doing anything with his life, She dumped him knowing that and he felt compelted to end her life cause he knew she was an outgoing girl,and she was going to find better than him.
