wc1k6a Pastor Ken Huneycutt Molests Little Boys

Ada, OK – Kenneth Wayne Huneycutt, 60, is the pastor of New Hope Baptist Church.  He’s also a pedophile who likes to feel up little boys and force them to reciprocate.  Rev. Huneycutt has admitted to molesting two little boys, ages six and ten, multiple times over the last eight months.  Most recently, the pastor molested the boys in December, after which he told them that what he’d done (and made them do) was their “little secret”.

Um, Reverend?  That thing in your hand is not a  church-approved teaching tool.

On December 11, the boys went home and told their mothers what Pastor had been doing for most of the past year.  Good for them!  By age 60, most pedophiles have been molesting for a very long time.  It’s highly unlikely that these children are Huneycutt’s first victims – but I am hopeful that Oklahoma will get a grip and make sure that they are his last.  The boys’ mothers called the Division of Family Services in Pontotoc County, who launched an investigation and called in the sheriff’s department.

When interviewed by Pontotoc County Undersheriff Joe Glover, Huneycutt  admitted sexually abusing both boys.  He said that he began touching the children in the spring and continued through early December.  The molestations happened “at least 15 times” when the 10-year-old would stay overnight at his home,  and “at least once” when the 6-year-old stayed over.

In his own defense, Rev. Huneycutt said that his behavior “might have something to do with (his) high blood pressure medication”, according to the police affidavit.  Huneycutt also whined that  the boys “promised not to say anything”.

Y’know, denizens, your favorite imp takes heart medications on a daily basis.  Oddly enough, my beta-blockers, nitroglycerin and anti-hypertensives have never made me feel the need to go out and molest a kid. Much less two.  Now I realize that nitro and Viagra do have some similar properties, but really?  Reaaaallly?  Nitrates aren’t gonna give any man an uncontrollable boner that forces him to touch little boys.  It’s not even a listed side effect.

I can just see this guy in the pulpit, railing against homosexuality, sexual sin, and the failure of his flock to tithe.  No doubt he exhorts his congregation to pray and resist temptation daily.  Reverend Huneycutt, you fail.  Epic fail, even. You hypocrite.  You Phariseeical bastard.  You child molesting, slothful, gluttonous pederast, you deserve whatever Oklahoma has the good sense to give you and then some.

Kenneth Wayne Huneycutt is charged with four counts of lewd molestation.  He turned himself in to Pontontoc County deputies last Monday, and is already home after posting  $100,000 bond.

TMS is counting this guy’s sins in our forum.

I’m so glad that one of the kids finally opened up and told his Mother what was happening. It’s such a sad world you never know who you can trust anymore. People in a postion of trust have again and again proved that there is no person in any position that can be trusted.
What a lame excuse for a person. I hope they throw the book at you and that in jail your molested over and over. I hope you get to feel a large portion of abuse from your future room mates. You no good piece of shit!
And he had the nerve to whine that the kids weren’t suppose to tell anyone. WTF

The horribly ironic thing is that due to his job, and tithing; the childrens’ own parents have effectively helped to post this bastards’ bond!

I’ve taken medication as well Imp. Shocking as it sounds, I havn’t had the urge to jump any kids bones either. I do have the urge however to break this guy’s neck… hope that isn’t a bad thing

LMFWAO! Good write up, Imp ;)

Pedophiles. Oh wow. And a pastor at that! These are people kids should be able to trust and turn to, and more oten than not we hear these stories in the news and of course it scars the churches…WHY CAN’T ADULTS KEEP THEIR HANDS TO THEMSELVES?! HAVE SEXUAL CONTACT W/ CONSENTING GROWN UPS?! WTF is wrong w/ people?! This shit is sick and disgusting…I thought after all this time shit wouldn’t surprise me anymore…but every time I read about kids getting molested and the circumstances behind it, I AM surprised and just cannot believe the putrid pervs that are out here in the world.

WOW ! I take heart medication too, I’ve never had that urge either. I do however feel the same urge as Kdogg. Since the Pastor Honeycunt seems it’s ok to act on urges….

What I can’t get over is that after the church sex abuse scandals of the last few years, parents are still letting their children spend the night and be alone with these guys. I think you would have to have been under a rock for the last couple of years to not hear about these and yet they still trust these pedophiles with their babies. As a parent I don’t know that I can trust any priest or someone other than an immediate family member with my child. I know I may be a little paranoid but I’d rather be safe than sorry!!

It is unbelievably twisted and sad. My husband is always a volunteer coach on our son’s baseball team, we do not use babysitters at all, and we have told our kids about pedophiles (scary stuff but they need to know), and always know who they’re with and where they are. They know that if someone tries to touch a private part, or does anything else that makes them feel uncomfortable, they need to tell us right away. Our 10 year old has a cellphone when he’s with friends so he can reach us at all times. Our daughter will when she starts leaving the house more. (Right now the farthest she goes is to friends across the street.) They know why John Walsh crusades against bad guys. We’ve also told them most people are good and would not want to hurt them, but unfortunately kids need to know about what’s out there, since it’s obviously always going to be out there.

    And we pray a lot.

I am no longer into church scene like that, but I have been confirmed, attended a Catholic school until grade 8…I have met and encountered many loving, caring, kind people in the Church (Catholic and otherwise). We cannot scare our kids off of Church and faith b/c of a few sickos. For every Priest guilty of touching a kid, there are probably 100 others who are NOT. I am not a religious person. My BF went to Catholic school as well, his family is Christian. His mom attends church weekly. While I do not agree we should force faith on kids, we should give them options and expose them young. I loved Sunday School as a kid and the people I met there. I used to love the church bazaars and the Christmas programs…molesters are more than priests and clergy members. I think it’s just more shocking to the public when they are religious figures b/c we hold them to higher standards?! After watching an Unsolved Mysteries episode one season I walked my niece to and from the bus stop, constantly following her and keeping up w/ her. I was paranoid and crazy w/ fear that she would get raped, killed or kidnapped. It drove her crazy too and you cannot live life in constant fear like that. Yes, being cautious is one thing. I would be skeptical of ANY adult (priest or otherwise) who invited a CHILD to spend the night or alone time w/ them and it wasn’t a family member! That is very suspect. But being paranoid will only drive you and the kids crazy I think…

Update: I just got an email from someone who is close to this case and asked not to be identified.

The victims are not family members of Huneycutt’s; rather, they are members of his church children’s group. And I’m told that these two boys are not the first children to report abuse by Rev. Huneycutt. At least one other child has disclosed abuse by him in the past – but it wasn’t taken very seriously, and nothing really happened to Huneycutt at the time.

This time, my source is hoping for justice. So am I.

This happens all too often in church. I was involved in a very similar situation with a church pastor when I was about 16. Turned out to be my own grandfather! Oh yeah some, not all, think they are safe hiding behind their “holy” title. Truth is, this Honeycutt has been abusing little children long before the 10 & 6 year old came along.

Pedophiles don’t just victimize one child, they do it over, and over again until caught. Then they are so remorseful, and just like this sack of old hanging skin, start looking for any excuse to take the responsibilty off of them. Sometimes even blaming the kid.

In my case, I was able to escape him and run to an aunt’s house. I told everyone that would listen what this man, my grandfather, was trying to do. But because he is “a man of the cloth” nobody would believe me. Now that I am a grown woman, the same people that doubted me, are coming to me with their own stories.

In my opinion, they should ALL be shot in the balls. Yup, just one shot at the groin is all I would do. Hey perhaps it would sway these sickos from hurting another child, and maybe not. But it would make me so very happy to pull the trigger.

Thanks Janelle, but the bastard never got to do anything to me. I came from a very abusive home, and at that point I had had enough bullshit. If I had been younger, perhaps I would have froze and he would have hurt me then. But I knew better and pushed him and ran. I just hate when they hide behind the “holy” shield.

Hope you are doing well yourself. Happy New Year to everyone at the DD!!!

WHY CAN’T ADULTS KEEP THEIR HANDS TO THEMSELVES?! HAVE SEXUAL CONTACT W/ CONSENTING GROWN UPS?!

Well, generally speaking, it’s for the same reasons some people are born without a conscience or why others habitually pull hair and are compelled to eat it. In short, some people are just born broken. Unfortunately, pedophilia is a much more destructive defect than, say, trichotillomania (the hair pulling), and perhaps even more common (TTM effects roughly 1% of the population). Of course, its inherent nature does not justify it even a little bit. If you find yourself attracted to children, SEEK HELP. If monks and nuns can go without sex, so can you.

So you think pedophiles are born that way the way people are born gay? I don’t agree. Most sexual predators were victimized and they in turn become victimizers. This would not be caused by nature, rather nurture…or lack of nurture I guess.

    12:12 am on December 31st, 2008

OH, Hell NO! Not that it’s their fault, but why would anyone, let alone those parents, allow their children to spend the night at his home? Maybe I am not getting the full story, maybe he had children or grandchildren their age who were friends, but seriously? Isn’t our job to protect our children from the day they are born? Isn’t there enough history in the news over the past decade to make parents be wary of who their children associate with, let alone teachers, preachers, and friend’s parents? I try not to keep my kids in a box, but my 12 year old daughter knows it takes a very long time before she is able to spend the night with a friend. I have to meet them first and know their parents, not like that’s a guaranatee, but it’s a start, and these boys were 6 and 10!
I know, I know, it’s not the parents’ fault he is a pedophile, but c’mon! WAKE UP PARENTS! You need to start looking at who the man is behind the curtain and stop lollygagging on the yellow-brick road!

The only thing the church will do in a case like this.. use it as an excuse to show how “evil” homosexuality is while covering up sick SOBS like this who prey on boys and girls. Homosexuality is between two consenting adults, not children who are threatened to keep it a secret or else

The flip side of that coin is that the overwhelming majority of people who were sexually abused DO NOT become pedophiles.

Your knowledge on the subject is clearly outdated, as that belief has since been proven false (or, more accurately, “insufficient”). Do more research.

You will find, if you keep up with issues of human behavior, that, the more we find out, the more it looks like genetics controls everything.

Couldnt agree with you any more….. Thats why I dont attend a church either. I have my own beliefs, but I refuse to take part in an institution for that reason. They sucker you in, attempt to win your trust, and then beat you down. They judge, they contradict their “written word”, and most are hypocrits. More and more we see religious leaders engaging in sexual relations with children becacuse in the church you are taught to trust the preacher. These children dont know that what they are being subjected to is wrong… and parents dont know any better. I can tell you that when I do have kids, they will not be a part of a church as I dont trust the people in them. My kids can have whatever faith they decide but I will never push or encourage joining a church. Its the biggest crock of shit ever. Im glad the boys are okay, though this will scar them forever. And I trust that the preacher man will stand his judgement one day when he leaves this world and what will happen to him there will be far worse then anything on earth.

The question struck me as rhetorical, not a seeking of information.

I note you said the following:

“Most” is not “All”. How do you account for the difference between “most” and “all”?

“Most” is not “All”. How do you account for the difference between “most” and “all”?

Whenever I read stories or see docs on TV about rapists and sex offenders, the majority (MOST) of them claim they themselves were molested…I can’t say ALL b/c they don’t all admit it or make this claim. So I said MOST b/c I can’t claim ALL for 100% certainty, then reality is how do we know these people are truthful?! We could go on & on about this…

  30. AlwaysInFlyoverCountry
    11:47 pm on January 4th, 2009

I did a little looking around this afternoon and early evening to see what I could find. The one quote I found said that most child predators themselves were molested as kids, but I remain dubious.

[...] then reality is how do we know these people are truthful?!

    Hence my dubiety.

    It’s like Athena said, though:

The flip side of that coin is that the overwhelming majority of people who were sexually abused DO NOT become pedophiles.

If you want to look at another coin, there had to have been Pederast 0 who decided that he would rather stick his winkie in some little boy’s backside rather than in some big girl’s hoo-haw. He wasn’t a victim of prior molestation.
