If you don’t cut ties with him now, the next thing you know you’re gonna turn around and be 30 – or 40 – and you can NEVER get those years back. You have photography — and you’re GOOD at it. You have passion! Use it on your photography – don’t waste it on Richard.

I don’t know what the law defines as rape in TN. When I hear rape I think of penetration with any object for sexual pleasure and I just don’t think there were sexual intenstions here.

Tennessee defines rape as any unlawful sexual activity. They go on to define “sexual activity” as any anal or genital penetration with any object or any body part of either the perpetrator or the victim. “Sexual arousal or gratification” is not explicitly called out in the rape statutes, though it is in the sexual battery statutes (which use “unlawful sexual contact” as the defining element of the offense and explicitly define “sexual contact” as being the touching of the clothed or unclothed body for sexual arousal or gratification of any person).

I didn’t find any explicit definition of “unlawful” under Title 39.
