The extent of his injuries was shocking; a broken femur, injuries to his rectum, and internal injuries severe enough to require immediate surgery. The baby had been raped…and his mother knew who was responsible.
Ella’s boyfriend, 24-year-old Richard Holman, committed one of the most vile and heinous acts a human can inflict upon a child, rape. That grown man raped a tiny and defenseless 3-month-old baby. If that isn’t disgusting enough, Ella was fully aware of it. The baby’s mother, the one person in the world he should have been able to depend upon to protect him, let him down. BigBig reviews

The case had been under investigation since that morning in November…on December 8, information pertaining to the child’s injuries was presented to the Putnam Grand Jury. The indictment alleges that ‘Ella stood by as her boyfriend raped her baby.’ Richard and Ella were indicted and arrested. They are being held in Putnam County jail in lieu of $200,000 bond each. Richard Holman is being charged with aggravated rape of a child and aggravated child abuse. Ella Amish is being charged with aggravated child neglect or endangerment and aggravated assault by failure to protect. They are both due back in court for arraignment on January 26.
The D.A.’s office isn’t divulging the specifics of the evidence collected in the case. But prosecutors say, ‘When it comes to a trial, we will fight for this baby.’ Somebody needs to…his mother didn’t do shit for him.

This is so disgusting. What the hell???? That little baby, no doubt, was screaming in pain – probably ran out of breath from crying so loud from the pain. I just don’t get it. The guy is obviously a worthless piece of shit who needs to feel pain like no other, but the mom??? To stand there and witness such atrocity? Unforgiveable on both their parts. I hope some of their friends and/or family members show up here to defend their actions.

Hopefully the baby’s bio father has more sense than the so-called mother – he wasn’t w/ her retarded ass so that speaks volumes…a 3 month old baby, dealing w/ a dude who is not the father that soon after the birth – this skank cared more about herself than her own kid! Luckily, you’re wrong. In Tennessee, rape of a child under 13 years of age carries with it a mandatory minimum of 25 to life. We can credit that to Jessica Lunsford, who was raped and murdered at the age of nine in 2005, prompting a domino-effect of states increasing their sentencing for child sex offenders.
Now, act to that a conviction for aggravated child abuse, which is a Class A felony given the heinousness of the crime and the age of the victim, and that tacks on another 15 – 25 years minimum. Worst case scenario and he gets the minimum 25 years for the sex offense (no parole) and 15 years for the abuse (eligible for parole in 5 years), he’ll still serve an automatic 30 years.
The only circumstance under which he’ll spend less than 30 in prison is if a jury fails to convict him on a charge, but I find that to be unlikely, since they got enough evidence to charge mom, as well.
That is, of course, assuming he’s not murdered in prison. Personally, I’m crossing my fingers for that outcome.

Athena, I know why he has to do it. It just sucks that they have to represent someone they know did it. I know most of them get into it as defense attorneys because they want to represent the few that are actually innocent. I also know that some get into it because they like to argue. It’s just sad because the attorney was thrown onto the case because her family and his family could not afford to get one(but I really doubt they’d try) knowing that he is guilty.

Don’t despair for them – it’s actually not that bad. You see, many defense attorneys take a great deal of pride in providing secure convictions. If a good lawyer were to walk away from a case like this and be replaced by a crappy one, the odds are much greater that a conviction could be overturned by technicality, thanks to inept representation. Good representation means convictions stick.

ok so i have a good question for all of you, how many of you have actually sat down and thought about the situation? i mean seriously, the DA hasnt released any word on what the evidance against the mother is. now lets all together sit here and think about it…..that long enough? what evidance could someone possible have presented to proove that the mother just stood by and watched? i mean it is quite obvious she did nothing to stop him. but how does one assume that she had knowledge that it was happening. it was quite early in the morning, so idk just maybe she was sleeping like most people would have been at the time? crazy? or possible? i think quite possible. i mean i know i am an extremly heavy sleeper, ive slept through alot worse than a screaming child, and im sure im not the only person that can sleep through alot. its generally called bein a heavy sleeper. i dont know how big the house/apartment is but it is also possible that it happened a distance away far enough to where the sound didnt carry enough to wake the mother. you people that post the comments on blogs like this discust me, you dont even think into the situation. given the circumstances there is no way to prove the innocence of the mother for the same reasons you cant prove her guilty. the police were able to arrest her do to the severity of the crime on the guys part and the publics disgust. people in general will automatically jump to a conclusion. also the average person will automatically blame the parent for anything bad happening to a child. ive seen it many times in the past. something bad happens to child, its because of an irresponsible or negligant parent. at least thats what the news will say even before they go to court. as for the guy, all above statments i agree with. and for all of the above statments to the mother, wait to see what evidence is presented before you draw your conclusions. otherwise, keep your words to yourselves
