Charlie C.W. Anderson on dreamindemon.com

Bradenton, FL – Charles William Anderson, 33, had a rough morning FridayFriday reviewsFriday reviews.  At about 4:00 in the morning, police found Anderson passed out behind the wheel of his car, which was still running.  Anderson was stoned out of his gourd on Xanax and weed. And his three-year-old son was crying in the back seat.   Not your best idea, Charlie.

Anderson’s car was idling in the 2600 block of Manatee Avenue in Bradenton when police pulled up to find out why the car was just sitting there running.  When they got up to the window, they saw one of Anderson’s three children crying.  They also saw Anderson passed out in the front seat, oblivious to his son’s tears. When police searched the vehicle, they found enough marijuana to charge Anderson with possession.

I know, I know.  We get worse stories all the time.  But people, there is something really wrong with a guy who drives under the influence with his child in the car.  And Charlie wasn’t a wee bit intoxicated – he passed out on the side of the road.  He’s lucky he didn’t kill himself, his child, or another innocent victim.

Not to mention that at three, his son may be old enough to remember, old enough to worry that something was wrong with his Daddy. And that just hurts my impish little heart. I hope it hurts Charlie Anderson’s too, so he’ll get a grip and never put his child in that position again.  No, no, no!  Bad Charlie!

Anderson was arrested and charged with drug possession, driving while suspended (second offense), and child neglect.  He’s being held at the Manatee County Jail on a total of $13,120 bond.

He has 3 children, and took 1 with him. I hope the other two were at home with a resonsible adult. Why in the world did he take a 3 yr old baby with him driving around at night? Why in the world did he get plastered and/or stoned with his baby in the car with him? I just don’t get it. I’m glad the baby was not injured, but this just doesn’t make sense to me. Where are his kids now? With family services, with their mother, with grandparents? What in the world was he thinking? Oh, wait, he’s a moron, he probably wasn’t thinking…

Or this story could have been about the child being kidnapped right out from under doped up dads nose. I’m kinda suprised it’s not, must be from reading this site too much, but if it had he’d be the main suspect for a while.

Well, at least he had the forethought to pull over, I guess.

Parents, do whatever in your free time (child is under the supervision of a responsible party and not in your presence). But doing drugs when you’re around a child is never okay, even it it’s *just* weed or pills. Pushing it even further and driving them around like that is seriously retarded. I hope this guy gets counseling.

It really pains my heart that this child was crying in the car and had no idea what was going on. He was probably scared to death. My little girl is 3 and I see what she knows….surprisingly a lot for a 3 year old….they really take a lot in at that age. I hope this is a real wake up call for Charles.

The kid probably thought he was dead. I know my daughter freaks when she wakes up and I’m not awake yet. She runs to my side and screams,”WAKE UP” then smacks me in the face. Sometimes, I pretend I’m still asleep and then I hear her panicking and that’s when I tell her I’m awake. So I can imagine how freaked this little kid got.

I thought the same thing too, they are very smart, but don’t reason yet ya know. I hope the kid can recover pretty quickly.

That’s cute you pretend your still asleep. It’s funny how we all have our litte “things” :)

Join me, one and all, in defacing his Myspace before it goes private.
His wife, by the way, is hoping that everything goes back to normal by next weekend. She, too, is a obviously an asshat.

His MySpace has craptastic stuff like “Family comes first” and a blog titled “Great Mornings With Kids”. That blog is not about this incident…DUH

He’s into “The One” campaign which is sad because he probably thinks its about him. The only One he cares about is obviously himself. Asswipe.

You should title it “I Don’t Care About My Kids!”. That’d be more appropriate for you, twatwaffle.

Yeah, I can’t take credit for that lovely and useful term, though. I stole that from somebody here- who coined that one, anyway?

3 yr olds know. His kid was screaming b/c he was scared, maybe cold, tired, hungry, whatever. His deadbeat dad sure as hell didn’t care. Let’s hope the child’s mother has some sense and kicks this guys ass and to the curb! Hopefully he won’t have unsupervised visitation anymore…what an idiot.

    This man needs treatment.
I had a family member do something similar- really, really exhausted and yes, on pills. After treatment all is well, clean and sober for 5 years. Thank God no one was hurt.
He looks like he loves his little guys and is a good provider at least.

I tend to be hateful in my responses to these…and its hard to shake that right now. Im going to try tho to state that he needs help. Its easy to judge….trust me…im very good at it! Makes you wonder what is wrong with him tho. I mean is this the way he was raised? Is it a lack of parenting by his parents? Did he not know any better? Did he think this was normal? Its sad…. and my hear bleeds for the children (like the 3 year old in the car) that are raised in that environment. And its a viscous cicle…. if this children doesnt receive guidence while growing up they will turn around and do the same thing when they become parents. There needs to be harsher punishment so todays adults, young adults, and children understand the consequences of their actions. I blame the justice system….its for too leniant.
