Idris Turner Beat Payzarria

Kent, WA–I don’t even know where to begin with this waste. I suppose I could start by pointing out that 30-year-old Idris Turner has anger and control issues. He wants to have control over any female in his presence, including his current girlfriend’s daughter, 2-year-old Payzarria. In fact, he wanted little Payzarria to learn to use the restroom on command. When she didn’t learn fast enough to suit him, he beat her ‘like a slave’ with electrical cords and belts, until she was comatose.
Let me give you a little background: Payzarria’s mother, Trina Washington-Eastland, has issues of her own. Trina was a homeless drug addict. Because of the instability in her life, she entrusted the care of Payzarria to her own foster mother, Afua-Alicia Ndiaye. Ndiaye cared for Payzarria, off and on, from April through OctoberOctober reviews
. She said that Trina would often pick her child up and disappear for a few days and when the child returned, she would have new bruises. In April, Ndiaye took the child to a specialist to be examined. A doctor noticed the injuries and called police in to investigate. The responding officer dismissed the injuries as ‘normal.’ CPS opened an investigation for fear that the child was being neglected by her mother. All was well, for a few months.
In July, Trina, pregnant with Turner’s child, was hospitalized for an unspecified condition. Turner started beating Payzarria while visiting the hospital. He continued to spank the child even after a nurse demanded that he stop. CPS got involved again…they forwarded a report of this particular incident to the Seattle Police Department. SPD declined to open an investigation into the ’spankings’ because there were no visible bruises to the child. In August, CPS convinced Trina to sign an agreement saying that she would not leave her child with Turner, but would entrust Ndiaye with Payzarria’s care. After that, CPS just assumed that Ndiaye had custody of the child. Did anyone from CPS make even a slight attempt to follow-up on this case? Doesn’t look like it. Payzarria’s safety plan didn’t last long.
In October, Trina began experiencing complications with her pregnancy that required hospitalization and bed rest. Instead of leaving Payzarria with Ndiaye, she turned her over to Turner. During this time, Turner stayed with a number of girlfriends who witnessed the abuse, who said they tried to intervene…and were beaten.
For months, Payzarria was subjected to repeated abuse that was witnessed or suspected by about a half-dozen people. Joy Brannon, just one of Turner’s many clueless playthings, described watching the abuse. She watched Turner beat the child at least 30 times in 10 weeks. She described ‘Slave beatings. Held the arms off the ground and just whipped, whipped, whipped.’ If the baby didn’t cry, he beat her harder. Turner would force her to sit on an adult toilet for 1-3 hours at a time and if she wouldn’t, or couldn’t go, he would beat her with electrical cords, belts, and other items. Another girlfriend, Courtney Douglas, said she saw Turner beating the child ‘like you’d beat a slave.’ Did she call police? Even anonymously? Nope.
On November 20, Turner beat the girl so badly, she fell off the toilet and landed face first on the floor. Though the child was curled up into a fetal position on the floor, Turner continued to beat her. The beatings were clearly intensifying. He told Brannon that the child was ‘playing mind games with him,’ and that he was going to ‘beat her father out of her.’ When Payzarria grew exhausted from the repeated beatings, Turner would hold her up to beat her. At some point during the weekend after Thanksgiving, Payzarria started having seizures. Turner’s harem demanded that he take her to the hospital…he didn’t. Why? It had been a month since Turner last spoke with Trina, he was afraid that she would be upset if he conveniently popped in and the only thing he had to say was, ‘Hey. How ya been? Umm, I just thought you should know, I beat the hell out of your daughter.’ Somehow, he had been successful in keeping Payzarria away from Trina during this time period. He was also afraid that Trina would find out about all the women he kept on the side.
Finally, two days after Payzarria’s first seizure, a member of the harem convinced Turner to at least take the child to see her mother. On Saturday, when Trina got a look at her daughter, she immediately took her to the emergency room. When questioned about the injuries, Turner initially told police that ‘ the child was abused by someone he’d left her with while he was taking care of business.’ When police started interviewing witnesses, the terrible stories of abuse were brought to light. By then, Turner was trying to make his escape. Turner, Trina, and their 11 day-old baby were apprehended at the airport…they were headed to the east coast. They were just going to abandon little Payzarria at the hospital.
Idris Turner was arrested on Sunday and finally owned up to the abuse of Payzarria. He admitted that he beat the girl as he tried to potty-train her. He told police that on NovemberNovember reviews 26, he noticed a bump on her head after he struck her so violently that she fell off the toilet. ‘I notice the bump on her head and felt terrible because she still had scars from me whoopin’ her before,’ he said. Asshole. He is now being held on $150,000 bond. He is charged with first-degree assault of a child. If convicted, he faces a standard sentence of 8-10 years in prison, though prosecutors could ask for an exceptional sentence. Neither Trina nor the numerous witnesses are being charged at this time. Trina’s newborn baby was taken into protective custody by CPS.
Payzarria was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where she fell into a coma. She has since awakened from the coma but is now blind and suffers permanent brain damage. Investigators said that by the time doctors got to the little girl, she was ‘unresponsive to any stimulus other than deep pain’ and that the tissue on the back of her head had been bruised so many times, it was ‘no longer resilient to touch.’ She will spend the rest of her life recovering from the senseless beatings she recieved at the hands of Idris Turner.

OMG, I almost threw up while I was reading this story. I cant believe someone can beat a child like that, and now the poor baby is blind. Someone needs to beat him till he is blind and goes into a coma. Every time I read a story on here that involves child abuse of any kind I just see my babys face and cant stand the thought of her in pain.
God bless her for having the strength to live through what that man, i mean looser, did to her. And to her mother, FUCK her! she should be charged too for letting that looser take care of her baby.

I’d be interested to know which judge is presiding over the case so that I may show my support for an exceptional sentence, as well as charges filed against the women who did nothing. Imp, do you have any information of that sort?

I am speechless. Well not really. I think I spent a good portion of my time while reading this repeatedly saying “WTF” in my head more times than I could count. I hate him. I have a heavy heart while reading this, that poor sweet faced girl, Payzarria.
Men who beat women, men who beat on little defenseless children for that matter are not men. They’re pos. He doesn’t deserve just $150k in bond… damn him. This shit makes me mad. I seriously dislike people who think it’s okay to treat others like this.
I’m only glad to read that she didn’t pass away, I hope that she ends up living with people who truly care and love her. Still makes my blood boil that she ended up in a coma and is now blind. Really wtf! I’m sure the police feel awful for not stepping up and open a case against that asshole.
I wanted to add that I strongly feel that her mother and his “harem” of women get some prison time as well. Sadly I think it’s best that her sibling ended up with CPS. Actually it’s all just bittersweet.

Well, her mother’s last name is Washington-Eastland.
For some period of time she was officially in the care of Afua-Alicia Ndiaye, so she could be there under that last name.

I happened to read this article on the subway on the way home and with each paragraph containing a brief description of the next beating, tears fell. I have two toddlers, not potty trained. I imagined them in this situation and I fell sick as a dog with hateful emotion. I couldn’t stop the tears and my make up’s running and the entire train is looking at me…as I looked back at them in disgust, at the general population who “see” “watch” “hear” or “participate” in abuse and never step forward to help or stop such torture of our children, I thought “fuck you all”. Our children are beautiful and innocent. EVERY story has a ’someone’ who knew something and I’m frustrated and angry. I have gotten involved in milder issues in public with children involved and yes, it’s risky. But if everyone got involved, our communities would be different. Why is it none of us live next to that abused child???
I could never watch such beatings, hear such beatings and I would gladly die trying to stop one. I AM A MOTHER and I will PROTECT any child I can. I only wish the cruelty in humans would seep into the justice system, therefore, we would take the parents, the offenders and the witnesses who do nothing, and fry their fucking asses, cane them to death, whatever’s clever for the day…. If you steal a child’s life, you should die. That is it. ANIMALS KILL THEIR PREY MORE HUMANELY THAN HUMANS TREAT THEIR CHILDREN! I don’t know who’s face is who, therefore I am looking at people differently and huans discourage me terribly as the rate of crimes committed against very young chilren seem to be escalating everywhere. I wish I wouldn’t have brought more children here. We can’t protect the ones we have already….

Tears welled up in my eyes when I saw the picture of this perfect little angel. The light behind shines like a halo over her beautiful little face. A perfectly beautiful , innocent little angel permanetly scarred forever for no other reason , than being a two year old. This breaks my heart.
I am really upset that all those other people who witnessed this have not been charged. Does witnessing a brutal beating of a baby , not equal to being an accessory? Oh sure they may have said “stop it” . Why didn’t those brainless wonders get on the phone to 911? Seriously what the hell is wrong with these women?
As for the mom turning her baby over to the very man she knew was abusing her , sickens me. Then to be abandoning the baby , and running off with this POS is beyond my understanding. With a brand new baby in arms, another potential victim.
Both of these people need to be sat on a toilet , slapped until they fall unconcious a few times, have their eyes poked out with hot pokers, and left to writher in pain on some cold concrete slab, without the benefit of medical attention.
As for the other women. They too should be slapped around, while someone stands back and says, “stop it” , until they are covered in welts and bruises.
I pray that this sweet little baby , will grow up in a loving environment , where she is given every oppurtunity to grow and somehow overcome the intense damage done to her.

I’m so sorry this little girl suffered for so long. It makes the babies who quickly die from having their heads crushed with a hammer or being slammed into the edge of a door seem like lucky kids.

ok, i called the hospital again, but they said that they don’t have any information on Payzarria. it’s quite possible that she isn’t on the hospital lists due to HIPPA restrictions, or maybe it was at the family’s or the police’s requests. i’ll try and do more research this weekend. big sigh, i’m just so sad over this…………….

I am suprised Payzarria isnt at the childrens hospital instead of HarborView. They are not that far apart and are more suited to her current medical needs there. They may have moved her there. I will see what my daughter can find out. She lives near Seattle and works for a place that gets patients rides back and forth from home to the hospial and back.

Thanks My 2 Cents, Yah Harborview is a real dump of a hospital and is for emergency only. Childrens Hospital rules for kids, I worked there for a while in the computer area. It was pretty hard cause most of the patients are kids who are pretty fucked up. And will spend there whole life there. But they have one hell of a doctor staff.

yah, I don’t interact with the patients either,LOL I work with the state and I am one of the HIPAA auditor’s,I get the lovely job of going around making sure that HIPAA is being followed properly,which for me, isn’t always fun. I dropped off the gift. so theres one gift for her and more on the way. bless that little angel.
