Amora Milam, 13-Months, Was Beaten To Death

A couple called 911 reporting that their 13-month-old daughter, Amora Bain Carson, was not breathing. When paramedics arrived, police were called in when it was apparent the infant had suffered some traumatic and unusual injuries. The couple, Jessica Carson and Blaine Keith Milam, both 18, told investigators different stories explaining how the infant received her injuries. One reason was that she had been involved in a car crash the day before, another was that dogs had bitten her and even that the child had beaten herself. But when the truth was finally revealed, what actually happened to Amora was far more horrendous and unbelievable than anyone could have imagined.
Seems as if the pair felt the baby had caught a case of those pesky demons, so they decided to do what any sane person would do when they feel their loved one is possessed by demons. They attempted an exorcism. I don’t know what movies these two watch, but this wasn’t an exorcism that included crucifixes and holy water. Oh no, their brand of exorcism called for biting and a hammer. While Carson looked on, Milam used the hammer to bash Amora’s head in.
Lt. Reynold Humber stated, “The child had been beaten so much we couldn’t tell how many times it was hit and then there were more than 20 bite marks on her body.”
After killing the little girl, they then decided now was a good time to hire a professional. They told investigators they drove to a local pawn shop to sell some tools to raise enough money to hire a priest (I am not making this up). It was during this drive to the pawn shop that the couple made the 911 call that brought medical personnel and the police to the home.
“When we got there the baby was laying in the middle of the floor of the bedroom…You’re looking at a 13 month old baby that has had her head bashed in…it’s gruesome.” stated Rusk County Judge Bob Richardson.
Now the couple are in the Rusk County Jail held on two million dollar bonds each. They have both been charged with capital murder. Oh, to add a little more salt to the wounds, Milam was sentenced in AugustAugust reviews
2008 on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child. He was released on probabtion, and it did not involve Amora.

The judge is absolutely right when he says that it is the mother’s duty to protect the child. She let him beat her child with a hammer. She watched as he bit and hit her. She should have called the police when he started but didn’t. Then, came up with a lie about how she was possessed by demons. Poor baby. Just turned a year old and no one will ever see your sweet smile again. We won’t see you grow hair, or talk, or grow up. All because your momma wanted a husband. A husband who is a known sexual predator but still wanted him. I can imagine them saying next she was assaulted and did it to cover up her injuries. RIP Amora.

This is so far beyond horrific that I’m having a hard time coming up with words to talk about it. I’ve read a lot of horrible stuff on here in the past few months, but this is one of the ones that made my chest hurt and my eyes tear up, and I had to leave for awhile to regain my already tenuous grip on my emotions. I wonder if the baby could say “mommy” yet? How could her so-called mother ALLOW this to happen? And they tried to blame it on a car crash. Then on the poor dogs (luckily no one was stupid enough to believe that). Well, who taught the dogs to use a hammer?

I did some digging and found out, about Blaine Milam’s aggravated sexual assault of a child. It turns out she was 14, so its more of a minor than a child. It looks like he pleaded guilty to get a lesser sentance ( I think). Anyway, He got 5 years for it , that got changed to 180 days and all he really did was around 60 days for it. But they did consiter him a high risk to repeat offend, so they gave him a life time listing on the “Sex Offender Registry page” . Here is that link.

Looking at the baby pictures on her myspace makes this all more horrific. It seems this mother loved and adored her baby girl. How then does a mother who appears to love her baby come to ALLOW someone to beat and kill her?? She watched as her baby was killed before her eyes…
I can’t wrap this one around my mind…uugh, so agonizing to imagine this sweet babies anguish.
I really would like to know how this could happen….look at her myspace, she even says, “WHO NEEDS A MAN WHEN I GOT MY BABY”…with a picture of her kissing baby Amora.
It is scary shit how she came to this dark place that she would allow such a terrible, heinous act to occur on the love of her life…her innocent, beautiful baby.

This just bothers me so very much. I can’t remember a story that, upon the video starting had me yelling out loud “WHAT??” – which is what I did. The moment I heard a hammer was involved – I lost a bit of sanity. I want to hurt these fuckwads soooo bad. I want to bring that baby back in a trade for both of them. I can’t though. They talk about Blaine, skipping out on his work release program, He was allowed to leave each day then come back at nite. He was suppose to be in jail till feb 2009, but he took off and never went back. Not to mention he was court ordered to stay away from ALL children.

What the hell happened to Jess? In her Myspace pics…shes a really pretty girl..almost resembling Rachel Bilson in some of them. She did seem to be all about Amora in the pics that she has posted of her, she even has a tattoo of Amora’s footprints, date of birth, and name. Wtf happened?
