Dublin, GA–Parents of young children know what a hassle it can be to run just a few simple errands. Most of us just deal with the hassle and take them along, put the errands off for another day, or call a responsible adult to sit with the children. Shambria Fields, 21, chose none of those options. She walked out the door of her apartment SaturdaySaturday reviewsSaturday reviews morning to run errands, leaving her three very young children home alone to fend for themselves. A fire started. Now Shambria has one dead daughter and two critically injured sons.

A neighbor called 911 Saturday morning to report smoke coming from Shambria’s apartment. She was terrified…she knew that there were children in the home. Firefighters responded and pulled the three children out of the home. It was too late for 11-month-old Kaliyah Stuckey, she was already dead. Her two older brothers, Deltavious Stuckey, 4, and Diontae Stuckey, 2, were severely burned. Their mother was nowhere to be found…still out running those very important errands.

Police aren’t saying exactly how long the children were alone but state that Shambria left in the early morning hours and that she had been gone quite some time, judging by the fact that the entire living room was extensively burned. Lighting fixtures in other parts of the home were melted. While it wasn’t an every day occurrence, it has been verified that this wasn’t the only time she had left the children on their own. Police wanted to quell the rumor that a young man was supposed to have been watching the children or was on his way over to watch the children. “There was nobody with the children. There was nobody supposed to have been watching the children,” stated Dublin Police Detective Cpl. Mark Bell.

The autopsy of little Kaliyah, who would have celebrated her first birthday on December 19, is still pending. Deltavious and Diontae are are currently in the Augusta Burn Center listed in critical condition. Deltavious has burns covering nearly 70% of his body. The children’s father, 23-year-old Deidric Stuckey, had been serving time in prison for an entering auto conviction. He was released from prison a week and a half early to be with his children. He was scheduled to be released on parole December 3. Let’s hope he makes better choices…

Shambria Fields is being held at the Laurens County Jail with no bail. She is being charged with three counts of reckless abandonment and one count of involuntary manslaughter. Wonder if she finished those errands? The cause of the fire is still under investigation but is said to have started around an artificial Christmas tree in the living room.

Ummm hello, she knew the children were in the house! WTF???

This mother is garbage all the way. 4 year olds cannot watch a baby because they are still babies themselves…….I hope the Dad does make some changes and helps care for his sons.

I don’t think she knew the kids were alone, she just knew that 3 young children lived in that apartment.

This mother is a complete fuck’n idiot! Leaving her babies alone…uugh, and that little one who died, I just pray she was dead from smoke inhalation before the fire got to her. Sweet one didn’t even get to her first birthday.

The mother will never live past this…never. I doubt those “errand’ were worth the lose of an angel and almost losing two more.

Rest in peace little Kaliyah and your brothers, I hope they make it and recover completely…kisses.

    So awful!

My grandchildren are 3 and I can’t imagine leaving them alone in a room, let alone in the house – responsible for 2 younger children!! OMG!! What are people like this thinking???? Where did they hear this kind of shit was OK or “cool” to do? What was sooooo important she left 3 BABIES alone?

I HATE this bitch! Stupid fucking cuntfaced whore!

RIP baby girl. Prayers to your brothers that they heal and that all scars (physical and emotional) fade with time.

Dad gets out of jail, Mom goes in…wow, these kids really don’t have too much of a chance in hell unless someone steps up and intervenes. What an asshole stupid bitch cunt to leave her 11 MONTH old BABY w/ her 2 toddlers…none of them can fend for themselves, they’re way too young to be left alone! How selfish and utterly irrersponsible of this “mother” – I hope they throw the book at her and she gets just what she deserves. Trifling.

She isn’t a mother. She’s a moron who birthed three kids. Society calls her “mother” because they tumbled out from between her legs. We need to stop this and begin to recognize that givng the title of “mother” to the birthing-hole does not mean the baby is any safer than if it were left by the side of the road.
