Heather Rising’s Meth Lab Went BOOM!

Newberry County, SC – Heather Rising had a meth lab. Heather Rising had a boyfriend who helped her with her meth lab. Heather Rising had a beautiful, little 3-year-old daughter with her in the home with the meth lab. The meth lab went BOOM. The boyfriend went BOOM.  And Heather Rising went to jail.

16, a sudden explosion rocked the house on Bush River Road. Ms. Rising’s boyfriend, Reggie Braswell, 34, was struck in the head and upper torso by objects sent airborn by the force of the explosion, and died of his injuries.
Following the explosion, Heather Lynn Rising, 28, fled to a neighbor’s home, and then took her daughter to a family member. I wonder how it felt to leave her boyfriend dead or dying at the scene? I wonder what she told her little girl about what happened?
Police caught up with her on Tuesday and arrested her on charges manufacturing meth, misprision of a felon, conspiracy, and manufacturing meth in the presence of a minor child. [We all had to look up 'misprision.'  It means to deliberately act to hide or conceal a known felon or felony.]  She was released on bond, but her daughter is under the care of DSS. I’m certainly hoping that she is not allowed unsupervised access to her, as she strikes me as a flight risk.

Police also arrested Kevin Chase Franklin, 29, of Little Mountain; he was released on a personal appearance bond.  Franklin was allegedly in the home when the lab exploded, and suffered minor injuries. He, too, fled the scene, but was arrested soon after.  Police are still searching for a third suspect who’s been indentified but not yet located.
Thankfully, the beautiful, little 3-year-old daughter did NOT go boom (though she was in the home at the time), and is now in the care of DSS. I’m still hoping her mom will be charged with child endangerment, as well. Let’s hope a loving, non-meth-producing family is found for her, and she lives happily ever after.

What a cute little girl! I’ll taker her, DSS!!! No more meth labs, no more penises of the month, no more selfish role models. Please?? My husband and son would welcome that little girl with open arms to our family.
Meth is bad news. Why do people even bother?

Another MOTY, for sure. Meth labs are scary. What’s worrisome is that they are set up in neighborhoods and no one has a clue until the house goes up. I hope that little girl gets a loving and reponsible family.

whoops. I think I am the only one who thinks she looks better thin…. and probably messed up. And I really don’t think, as a meth user, she looks horrible. She doesn’t have any crazy meth scabs covering her face or anything.

I dont understand how Heather Rising is NOT in jail! She’s definately NOT in jail especially after endangering her daughter! Heather’s happily, out roaming the streets getting HIGH, obviously trying to see how many more lives she can RUIN! It’s because of that HEARTLESS BITCH that my boyfriend and I broke up! I wasn’t going to be nobody’s second best espically a HEARTLESS DOPEHEAD BITCH that has NO RESPECT or MORALS! I know my Boyfriend is just as guilty, but if she was any kind of friend she would have STAYED OUT of OUR relationship, but NO she was ALWAYS there and all up in it! I know one thing, if Reggie was still alive, he wouldn’t let her RUIN MY relationship with MY Boyfriend! She said she LOVED Reggie, but yet is ALREADY moving on! The only thing Heather Rising is good at is being a HEARTLESS, SELFISH DOPE BITCH that is out to see, just how MANY lives she can HURT, and or RUIN! Obviously that’s all she’s good at, because it surely aint COOKING meth! WHEN IS ENOUGH GOING TO BE ENOUGH!
