Jonathan Baker Goes AWOL & Rapes

Killeen, TX – Jonathan Matthew Baker, 19, is not a very good soldier. Stationed at Fort Hood, Baker skipped out on duty some time ago in order to avoid being deployed to Afghanistan with his unit. On Saturday night, he took his rebellion a little bit farther. Jonathan Baker is accused of breaking into the home of a 37-year-old woman, burglarizing and raping her. Go on, Jon. Make America proud.

, the woman awoke to find Jonathan Baker in her Harker Heights home. After terrorizing the woman, assaulting and raping her, Baker stole things from her house on his way out. ‘Cause, y’know, an AWOL rapist needs souvenirs.
The woman was able to call 911, and Harker Heights police got their suspect nailed down within a couple of days. Baker had used a credit card stolen from the woman at a local as station. The surveillance camera at the station caught a photo of Baker using the card, and a police officer recognized AWOL-boy from a recent traffic stop. Pretty fine police work, if you ask me.   The woman positively identified Baker, and on Tuesday, officers arrested him at his home in Killeen.
Jonathan Baker is absent without leave from the 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division of the US Army, out of Fort Hood. Baker’s unit is currently in Afghanistan.
While his compatriots are out risking their lives, Jonathan Baker is sitting in the Bell County Jail, charged with sexual assault and home burglary. His bonds total $300,000, so I guess he’ll be sitting there awhile.

What a piece of shit, he deserves everything that is coming to him. I feel for this women because rape is very hard thing to deal with.
Not to mention being such a fucking coward and shunning his responsibilities. Its pretty easy to take that paycheck from the Army until your called on. Despicable.

Actually, it would only be fair if he were immediately deployed to the front lines….but; unfortunately, they don’t do that….so, I guessprison and Bubba will just have to take care of this fucking asswipe

This KID, and I emphasize onthe use of the word KID, did this so he would not have to go to Afghanistan – ever!. These young kids follow that big dream of an instant paycheck, travel, education, blah, blah, blah and enlist-then they realize that hey, “I’m fucking scared to go to Afghanistan and kill or be killed”. Dumb ass. Never should have enlisted if you didn’t know what you were getting yourself into.
I’m not gonna get all political and shit-cause I’m sure that my opinion may vary from others and I respect that others may support the war or may even have loved ones there fighting in it. God speed to all of them.
This war takes prisoners and victims-without them ever stepping foot on the front line-or in that country for that matter…Meet Jonathan Baker-he’s the latest. (this in no way is meant to discredit the poor woman he assaulted-he is definately a mother fucker for that!)

Jonathan Baker is neither a prisoner or victim of war. He is a coward on all fronts. He is a disgrace to “The Big Red One”, the United States, and humanity.
Thousands of what you call “kids” are MAN (and woman) enough to sign up and live up to the obligation. They do not run off and end up as poor misunderstood babies that go around raping and robbing people.
He is nothing more than a raping coward.

Desertion during a time of war was once punishable by death…. Kinda makes taking your chances on the front lines a viable option. Pisses me off pretty damn bad. You know, to some degree, what you are getting into when you enlist. There shouldn’t be one person out there wearing the uniform that doesn’t accept the chance that he/she might deploy. Don’t sign up if you can’t do it. The military is spending enough money right now, and could do without paying your paycheck and medical costs, and probably your room and board in a barracks, if you aren’t going to hold up your end of the bargain. Throw his ass in jail, lock away the key. Don’t let him disgrace the uniform any longer. To bad they want to close Gtmo. I think that’d be a pretty good place for him.

I agree with that too. I don’t think that this guy should be pampered-fuck him like everyone else who commits a crime of this magnitude. He was militasry, so let him be prosecuted as such.

Amen to that! This guy is the lowest of low and it’s unfortunate that his name is even mentioned in the same sentence of the US Army.
Glad they caught him though, hopefully it will help the victim with some closure. She also doesn’t have to be scared that he is still out there, although I’m sure this ordeal with stick with her for a long, long time….

well, honestly, if he were prosecuted as military, he would be sent to leavenworth or other such facility. BUT, I just think it would be sooo much better, if his jailors were homesick Marines and Soldiers, who wanted to go home to the wives, daughters, and girl friends they left unprotected and defenseless against bastards such as he, so they could go fight the war he ran from. And, as an added bonus, his fellow inmates would already hate him, just because he is an american.

No one forced this fuckwad to join up; he wasn’t drafted. He volunteered and went AWOL. And worse than going AWOL, he is, quoting Dakota “a raping coward.” And that’s lower than whale shit.
No matter how I feel about our involvement in either war, I will always support our troops and the families they have to leave behind to protect our freedom. JMHO.
