David & Tammy Glover Are Really Dysfunctional

And they kind of look like they might be related. Weird.
Fairmont, WV - David Glover, 51, is one of those creepy stepdads. You know, the child-raping kind. His wife, Tammy Sue Glover, 31, is no better. In 2007, Tammy Glover’s ten year old daughter went to her mother for help. The child reported that David Glover was molesting her. Tammy Glover told her little girl not to mention it again, because if David got into trouble, they would “have to go live under a bridge.”   Way to choose your penis over your kid, Tammy!
The little girl’s abuse continued for over a year. During that time, Tammy Glover told her daughter that she didn’t believe her – even though she walked in on her fat, disgusting husband holding the child down on top of him in bed at one point. The girl, desperate for help, also went to her maternal grandmother to report the abuse. Apparently, Grandma didn’t believe her either.
David Glover reportedly tried to molest a friend of his stepdaughter’s as well, but that child was able to run away. And because of the confidentiality around child sexual abuse cases, it’s not clear who actually called in the police to save Tammy Glover’s daughter, but it appears that a hotline call may have been made. On Monday, the Child Protection Unit of the West Virginia State Police showed up at the Glover home.
Under questioning, David Glover partially caved. He immediately started “wailing and crying uncontrollably”, according to the criminal complaint. Glover said that he was afraid everyone would hate him for what he’d done. Oh, yaTHINK, Einstein? Maybe a better time to be concerned with the opinions of others would have been, I dunno, BEFORE molesting a helpless little girl? Assclown.
Of course, once Glover realized he was – ahem – screwed, he tried to make himself sound a little better. He was pretty sure he hadn’t molested his stepdaughter more than 20 times over the past year, he said. In fact, he went on, he was sure he had only molested the child “not more than five times”. Oh. Well. That makes it all better.
Tammy Glover told police that yes, her daughter had told her about the abuse over a year ago. But when she confronted her husband, he denied it, so Tammy decided that her daughter must be lying. Still, she said, she began to watch for signs of abuse, which apparently did not include the child being held on top of David Glover in bed. Because when Tammy Glover walked in on that little scene, she did not castrate her husband or call the police. Nope, she let it ride. Fortunately, the state police didn’t.
David Glover was arrested late Monday and charged with six counts of child sexual abuse by a parent, guardian or custodian; five counts of incest, and five counts of first degree sexual assault. He is being held at the North Central Regional Jail on $50,000 bond per count for a total of $800,000 bond. Tammy Glover is being held at the same facility. She is charged with one count of felony child neglect with risk of injury. Her bond is set at $10,000, which seems a little bit low to me.
I hope that the Glover’s victim finds a nice family who loves her, believes her, and will keep her from ever having to see her pathetic, abusive mother and stepfather again.

That poor child! This happened to a childhood friend of mine. Her real dad started molesting her when she was 7 years old, and she told her mom who said it was alright because that’s what Daddy’s are supposed to do. Ewwww!!! Anyway, she lived with it until she was 15 years old. Then she met me, and I rescued her. I held a 12 gauge shotgun to her dad’s nuts and told him he was never to see her again, and I convinced my mom and dad to let her live with us.
Unfortunately, she never pressed charges, but she never had to see that bastard again!

Interesting. I didn’t realize incest extended outside the biological realm. Definitely seems appropriate in this case, though.
Good for this girl for repeatedly trying for help. I hope it doesn’t scar her too terribly that the people she was supposed to be able to trust most neglected her, although I’m sure it will.

I had a mother just like this one, except that she never married her cousins. I told her so many times that her live in penis was hurting me. Did she do anything? Nope. Matter of fact, she would send me to the doctor to pick up sleeping pills that were meant to be placed in my food. I was merely 9 years old. I dont know if they are in-bred in that area and many people look alike, or if there is something about people who sink this low that give them that “look” …………But every time I read a story on here about something this horrible that happens to a kid in W. Virginia, the parents always look in-bred to me.

Thanks Sugarglider and Buggysmommy….yes, these types of stories work up some issues within me I suppose. If I do nothing else with my life, I want to at the least go down as a good, loving mom. That is all I have ever wanted in life. TO BE A MOM. It hurts deeply to know that other children are going with out the necessary love of their mothers.
Those of you on here that are yet to be mothers…remember one thing. We are our children’s fist love…treat them well. Love them, hug them, tell them you love them every second you can. Smother them with love. That is all they look for…LOVE!!!

Guess what Glover – I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU!!!!!!! I don’t feel sorry for you, molesting this poor little girl. How do you look at a child and think “I need to get me some of that” Gross! And that bitch of a mother – I HATE YOU TOO!!!! I would live under a bridge any day of the week, if that’s what protected my child. To me this just isn’t an everyday occurance so if my daughter said something like that to me, I would take it very seriously. Unfortunately it seems that some of the posters have been through this so it is “normal” in some households apparently. To anyone that had to live a nightmare – I can’t imagine your pain and I won’t try to, but just know that I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart.

Childhood sexual abuse is a lot more common than most people may realize, but I hope in most all cases the victims grow up knowing what happened to them wasn’t “normal”

Speaking from personal experience, it depends on who rescues you. I had the good fortune that I was thrown away. She felt that I was the other woman and she couldn’t have that. So instead of leaving him, she threw us out. Us, meaning my two sisters and I. She did us a world of good with that rejection. Our father stepped in, and I can proudly say that we never even saw ou father tipsy. He respected us like it was no joke.
Some people don’t have that luck and instead become self destructive. I pray that this poor baby makes it in this world. It’s tough to be a child and know that you meant nothing to your mother…the one person you look up to and want to be like. I don’t consider myself a victim. I am here, loud and proud. And you can bet your bottom dollar that I won’t look the other way when it comes to reporting or even stopping abuse.
Oh and not all people that are molested as children grow up to be monsters either. I don’t buy the stories of molesters, and rapist that go on and on how they were molested as children and that is why they committed a crime or crimes. We are all in control of our own actions, unless you are severly unhinged. Then of course you should be in the looney bin.
So please keep us posted on this story. It’s has consumed my mind ever since I read it.

I’m not actually saying that’s it normal, basically I just think it’s really unfortunate and truly sad that it happens and what’s worse molestation happens more often than, I for one, did not imagine. I think you took my words out of context and I hope this helps.
