Michaela Griffin Makes Bad Choices

Pahrump, NV–Michaela Griffin, 28, is a busy, busy young woman. She has three young children, (8, 6, and 2), a job, and a 16-year-old boyfriend to keep up with. No, you didn’t read that wrong, she likes ‘em young. This young stud of hers also serves as her child care provider. You know where this is going, right? Right! A hospitalized child suffering from some sort of head trauma.
Police were called to Desert View Hospital in Pahrump on Tuesday, in regard to a 2-year-old boy with severe head trauma. At the hospital, Griffin told them that she had left the child with a 16-year-old male while she was at work. After contacting the teen, detectives learned that he was much more than just the sitter, he was the live-in boyfriend too.
The teen came up with several different stories as to what happened but eventually fessed up. He told detectives that he was brushing the toddler’s teeth and the kid bit him. That ‘irritated‘ him, so he hit the child in the forehead with the heel of his hand. The kid went flying and smashed his head on the bathtub and a corner wall. If that wasn’t enough to show the kid his irritation, the teen also strangled him.
There was another teen in the house at the time. A 14-year-old was playing video games as all this was unfolding in the bathroom. After the older teen knocked the toddler out, but before getting help for the child, he wanted to make sure that their stories were straight. He told the 14-year-old that the ’story’ was that the child fell down in the bathtub. Then, instead of picking up the damn phone and calling 911, the older teen leaves the apartment to find help, leaving the younger teen alone with the unresponsive toddler.
The teen went to a neighbor, who went to another neighbor, who called the mother at work and then called 911. Why didn’t the dumb kid just use the perfectly good phone in his own apartment? He was scared and didn’t want to get in trouble. He’s looking at plenty of trouble now…he was arrested and is looking at charges of attempted murder and child abuse with substantial bodily harm.
When the 14-year-old was interviewed, he initially gave detectives the bathtub story. They called bullshit and he fessed up as well. He was taken into custody by JPO for accessory to child abuse for backing up the older teens alibi.
And mom? Since they can’t arrest her for stupidity and bad decision making alone, they are charging her with three counts of felony child abuse. It seems that there has been previous abuse. Michaela was well aware of that abuse and still chose to leave her child with the abusive teen for extended periods of time. Surprising huh?
The little boy had to be air-lifted to University Medical Center Trauma where he has undergone surgery to ease swelling on the brain. He was listed in critical condition on Wednesday. He is also under police hold with no visitation allowed by family members.

He chocked him??????? What???? This kid needs some serious help and so does the 14 year old for not calling 911 right away, as soon as he heard the ruckus. I really hope the two year old will be ok and good for the police putting a hold on family visitation. I hope she never gets to see her children again.

Besides, is anyone saying this 16 year old can’t consent or is somehow in diminished capacity due to his age? That he was a VICTIM due to his inability to consent at such an age? If so, we better not charge him as an adult, right?

I have a 15 year old son and I would ASOLUTELY leave him in charge of 3 children ages 8, 6. & 2 ….for 15 or 20 minutes while I went to the grocery store which is about a block away from home. With my cell phone on me and making sure he knew to call if ANYTHING happened. Then I would be nervous the whole time….cause he LOVES kids…but I mean THREE of them and at those ages….???? And I would probably forget my list and not get a good parking spot and there would only be ONE cashier….
Oh FUCK IT!!!! I’d take ALL of the 3 younger ones with me….or I’d end up with chest pains popping nitro in the checkout line.
I mean, REALLY, common sense factor….three children at those ages are a handful for ANYONE…let alone a 16 year old boy….

Well, I’m glad to see that parents are sharing the work equally when it comes to killing their children.

They see the kid as standing between them and free and easy access to vag.
