Allentown, PA–Let’s face it, we’ve all been jealous at one point or another, right? It’s all a part of being human. 21-year-old Ryan Junglas was feeling jealous. He felt slighted when he wasn’t getting the attention he felt he deserved. He reacted in violence and anger toward his rival for affection. The big, bad rival making Junglas feel bad? A 2-month-old baby boy.
Details are sketchy on this one, but it seems Junglas was arrested on Monday for attempting to kill an infant. Junglas admitted to the abuse. He stated to authorities that he wanted to kill the baby because he was jealous of all the attention the child was receiving. Those pesky little babies, always acting all defenseless and demanding attention. How dare they?

24th, Junglas really worked that baby over. He punched him, head butted him, bit his ankle, tried to suffocate him with a pillow, threw him down in his crib, and twisted his testicles. I think it takes a pretty sick and twisted sub-human to twist a baby’s testes. On top of all that, he also admitted to shaking the baby about five times a week, for three weeks…five minutes at a time. W.T.F.
The infant is said to have fractures and other injuries. One doctor who examined him said he suspects brain damage, but further testing is necessary to make that determination.
Jealous Junglas is now sitting in Lehigh County Jail facing charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and simple assault. He is being held without bond.
Who does this baby belong to? Is Junglas the sperm donor or just the latest penis? How did the abuse go unnoticed for so long? I wish I had the answers to those questions. So far, none of that information has been released. I will update when more information becomes available.

Poor little baby, I hope he is taken away and given to a family who will love him and protect him because obviously his mother wasn’t doing a good enough job of it..you have to be brain dead to not know something like this was happening to your INFANT.

How could there not have been visable marks on this baby? He punched and bit the poor little guy. This is a new born baby for crying out loud. In some cases fractures can be more painful than an actual break. The baby must have been in terrible pain and yet no one noticed?
Looks like he is going to have his wish granted. I am sure that there are many Big Bubbas who will be more than happy to accomodate his request to be treated as he treats others. He may be lucky enough to meet “Satan” himself and get all the attention he so desperately needs.

I’m thoroughly disgusted at this guy. Now because of his jealousy, this kid has to live with the effects of shaking, among other things. I do know someone who had their baby shaken by a caretaker, not as much as this baby, but, now she’s older, but you can tell that she’s still bad off. She’s blind, and has many other things wrong that will last her lifetime.
I hope that he isn’t one of those people who live in protected custody in the slammer. He deserves 100x more what he did to that baby.

I don’t see how mom could not know. And if she is “not all there” as suggested by some, how could her family not know? Unless they are “not all there” also. Then CPS should have been there. I suspect we will hear charges on the mom.

I can’t believe this baby had to endure pain like that day after day. It makes me so sad to think about it. Also I agree with some of the others, shaken baby syndrom is bad news, the after effects are not good and cause damage beyond repair. Just send good thoughts the babies way because he’ll need them….

Hi everyone. Long time reader, first time comment.
I just have to say that as far as the claims of the mother being “mentally challenged”… I am a mother of three and the only thing that would stop me from inflicting serious torture, pain and death to anyone who touched one of my kids would be my own personal death. That excuse is bulls*#t.
And to all of the people who knew this poor baby was being raised by a “mentally challenged” mother and an father who was “mentally and emotionally unfit”…. you should all feel guilt and shame for not coming to the rescue of an innocent baby.

My heart stopped when I saw this kid’s picture. Why?
Because not only does he look JUST like my neighbor, but he is wearing the exact same shirt that my husband just brought 6 boxes of from work. That Call of duty shirt, my entire family has one of and all my friends too! My husband works for Gamestop and these were given to him. And of course I gave my neighbor one, so you can see the panic factor here.
Regardless, it is not him, different states. And I think we will all be throwing these shirts out now. How the hell did that kid get one anyways? Fucker!

Sadly this poor little boy had no hope. This was probably one of the better outcomes though given the parents he was dealt. Its beyond me how parents can be jealous of their child and actually knowingly harm their own child. I hope and pray he has no permanent brain damage and will be loved and hugged and as all babies should from now on.

im sorry but i dont buy the mentally challenged aspect of this,when i bought my home 10 yrs ago there was a very young couple up the street and he was a young indian boy about 18 had fetal alcohol syndrome and she was 16 and mentally challenged and they had a newborn baby girl and they still live there unassisted (no services breathing down their necks) and that little girl is now 10 and extremely well looked after,mom works at mcdonalds maybe not everyones dream job ,but piont is she works isnt on assistance,he also works at wal mart so for these 2 having a child and being extremely mentally challenged they are functioning extremely well in the world maybe these other 2 ryan and amy shouldve been made to take some parenting classes if they are that mentally challenged cuz i dont buy it i have seen to many over the yrs that are mentally challenged make a good life and raise a good child

Ryan Junglas was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in a state prison – the max he could receive after pleading guilty in March. He was also ordered to have no contact with his almost 1-year-old son. His grandmother says the baby is recovering and doesn’t have brain damage
