Eternity Diamond Gonzales Never Woke Up

morning, Eternity was hit in the heart by a bullet which was probably meant for her father. Little Eternity never woke up. She died in her father’s arms, her pacifier still in her mouth.Â
It was about 3:00 on Sunday morning when a man knocked on the bedroom window where Eternity was asleep in bed with her parents, JoshuaJoshua reviews
and Crystal Gonzales. As Joshua Gonzales walked toward the front door of the small home, two men opened fire.  They shot four bullets into the home, then fled the scene in a gold Chevrolet Caprice. One of the bullets pierced the bedroom wall where the family was sleeping. Eternity, sleeping, was struck in the chest.
“She didn’t cry or anything,â€Â Crystal Gonzales said. “I was handing her to my husband, and we just saw a big bullet hole straight through her heart. We laid her on the couch, and she took her last breath.â€
It was only later that Crystal Gonzales realized a bullet had ripped through the mattress and grazed her shoulder. Investigators say that Joshua Gonzales, her husband and Eternity’s father, was the apparent target.
Crystal Gonzales, 22, told reporters that her husband was so upset at Eternity’s death that he left the family home, and that may be true. It may also be that Joshua Gonzales knows more than he’s telling about the men who tried to kill him and succeeded in killing his little girl. Is he hiding out, knowing they’ll be coming back? Or is Eternity’s father planning a little revenge of his own?
Crystal Gonzales thinks the shooting is related to her husband’s former life as a gang member. She says that Joshua “straightened out” in 2005, after their marriage and the birth of their five year old daughter, Alezay. Joshua Gonzales started a construction job and began taking care of his family by the time Eternity was born, she said. In addition to Alezay and Eternity, the couple has two other little girls: Crystalene, 2, and Margarita, 10 months.
“If anything, it might be something from the past. Way in the past,†she said.
Police have no immediate suspects, but did recover some evidence from the scene, including beer cans left in the front yard of the family home.
Since Eternity’s Sunday morning murder, another San Antonio toddler has been shot. On Monday, an unidentified 22-month-old boy was hit in the hand during a shooting at his home across town from Eternity’s house. That child will be okay, but police say it’s rare for two similar shootings to happen so close together. At this time, they don’t think the two incidents are related.
As always, I’ll update as the investigation continues. Someone knows who killed Eternity Gonzales.

OMG! This makes me so incredibly sad! You know, this has been one of my biggest fears for a long time. My family have never been into gangs or anything, but a random drive-by can happen anywhere. That neighborhood they lived in looked nice.
I commend the father for “getting straight” and I feel awful for the family. May God be with them all, may LE find the bastards who did this, and may that baby RIP.
Btw- FINALLY I can post. I have been trying to for weeks.

Oh, Lord-Christ…this beautiful innocent little girl…my heart aches for this family. San Antonio is the neighboring city from where I live.
A young couple trying turning things around to lead a good honest life for their children only to be chattered forever by sick, depraved, soulless bastards.
I can’t imagine their sorrow. I pray the family will survive this terrible tragedy. My deepest heartfelt sympathies to the Gonzales family.

The part about her dying with her paci still in her mouth is what brought me to tears.
This is sad. This young family tried to get their lives together, and this shit happens.

Rest in peace baby girl. I really hope that her daddy dosnt find the bastards because the family has enough loss right now. Gang violence even after your out is very real. Blood in blood out. Once your in a gang its usally for life.

Words can not express the sorrow that this story brings to my heart. May God embrace this family with all the peace and healing that they need to alleviate the pain they are going thru. My prayers and thoughts are with the family.

Damn it, why did that have to happen to an innocent child? A person has to be a cold hearted fuck nut to go shooting out a home with a family in it. I hope that who ever did this KNOWS he killed this little child and I hope he pays for his idiotic way. I hope that this killer will suffer, knowing he snuffed the life out of a little girl while she laid sleeping quietly tucked away in bed. And for what? To make himself feel like the big bad ass who had to ‘one up’ for his homies? FUCKING LOSER!

I have the RIP in my heart too. But mostly I am pissed and wish these shits would be skinned alive. It’s MUCH harder and takes a stronger person to make it LEGIT!. These are just punk ass, no education, no future, robbing, giving nothing to society, living on food stamps, trying to be celebrities with no talent, trifling, addicted, selfish, thinking without a brain, fucking without protection, people with nothing to offer except FORCE. And guess what that does not equate RESPECT! STUPID! Sure keep on preying on those who work everyday, those who try to make a difference, those who care. I hate you and your gang. From my knowledge about ‘gangs’ is once you are beat in or in case of a female joining she can beat in or….. be ‘fucked’ in by all the members at once.
Then to prove yourself trustworthy, you have to go ‘OUT’ and commit a crime…….. it might be robbery or MURDER
a gang is a fast way to make money by not living an honest life, why in the hell can’t these young people realize your not gonna be able to ever live a life afterwards?
You just don’t ‘get out’ of a gang, and if you ever do , you soon become a target by your own gang.
It’s pretty simple to see what went down here, I hope the state removes all the children from this group of targets.

Although it does seem a bit “fishy”… doesn’t change the fact that a beautiful 3 yr. old child has been senselessly killed. My own granddaughter (and grandson) turned 3 just about 2 weeks ago. I so feel that grandmother’s pain… I myself would not be too functional after this either.
I hope it is all figured out very soon before more innocents are killed by lowlifes with no futures and no consciences.
