Thank you guys. Today I went to the cemetery and put a silk red rose arrangement on Joann’s grave. The small metal square is still there, showing her to be Jane Doe. I thought they might have changed that out. I put up a photo at the forum.

This is really good news. Thank you for the heads up MadeaBecBec, I hadn’t checked my email in a couple of days. I found an email request to call TXDPS regarding this case, which I will do tomorrow. I could kick myself for not checking my mail on Wednesday. Now we need justice for Joann.

Announced today that she is definitely Joann Cisneros Perez!! Hopefully they’ll find the person that did this horrendous crime and put them away forever or better still go “jihad” on them and cut off their hands, too!!

It was also noted that Jane Doe had a lot of stretch marks as if she had rapidly lost weight. A cousin has said that Joann had previously had knee surgery. The family thinks itâ€™s her. DNA will show for sure.

Did Sgt. Barnes give you an indication on how long it would take to receive DNA results?
