Delaware - On Wednesday the 9th, 911 received a call from the legal guardians of 13-year-old Destiny Leifheit. Destiny had stayed home due to a school holiday and when the woman returned home from work she found Destiny laying on the floor in a bedroom of their home, bleeding and unresponsive. The family’s pet Chihuahua was laying beside her, fatally injured. Paramedics arrive but her injuries were to severe. Destiny had suffered multiple stab wounds over the majority of her body. The investigation quickly led them to 31-year-old David Goldsborough, a family relative (Destiny’s second cousin by marriage) who lived a few houses down.
When police went to his house, they found him intoxicated and sporting a nice injury to his hand that required stitches. It turned out he had a warrant for a past DUI charge and was brought to the police station because of it. It was at this time that police searched David’s home and found multiple knives and swords, one of them being the suspected murder weapon. No reason has yet been given, but it is being reported that David went to the home of Destiny and that Destiny let him in. At some point, a violent struggle ensued which led to Destiny being stabbed multiple times by David, who had used a 12-inch sword out of his collection.
David was then charged with murder in the first degree, two counts of possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, two counts of carrying a concealed deadly weapon and felony cruelty to animals.Police have not released the exact details in regards to motive, but they do state that David hated Destiny and her family. They have also stated that it does not appear that Destiny was sexually assaulted in any way.

I recall reading that the unfortunate thing about castration of any kind (chemical castration is used sometimes) is that for most sex offenders it’s as much about the violence and control as it is about the actual sex part, so that chem castration hasn’t solved things the way one hopes it would.
But anyhoo, he’s a pIeCe Of ShIt. And it doesn’t matter if he was trying to sexually assault her or not. He was definitely trying to kill her, which he did. And her little boo-dog, which I’m sure was yapping up a storm in protest to his attack in Destiny. ASSHOLE!

I happen to believe that sex offenses are MUCH more biologically-driven than psychologists suggest. It’s so closely tied to testosterone levels with the majority of sex offenders. The power/control aspect is simply a psychological manifestation of a physiological urge for most, I think.
