McDonalds Beating on dreamindemon.com

LA, CA - A 16-year-old girl was in line at a LA McDonald’s with her 5-year-old niece and a friend. A black male walks up with two young boys and cuts in front of the trio. An argument ensues about who was first in line, the teen reportedly cursing at the man. At that point, the male becomes enraged and punches the female teen, several times in the face.

The man then takes his two boys and leaves the restaraunt, possibly in a red pickup. Police are now asking for help locating him. The teen was taken to a hospital and treated. While I am not sure if she will ever curse at someone again, the video does seem to show she was in the right for being angry, and the man has some very, very serious anger issues.

Here’s the video:

Don’t you like how all the bystanders stepped in to help? So out with it. Any public horror stories from rude encounters? I got a doozy from a Ruby Tuesday incident, but I don’t have time to post it yet.

I saw this on the news. That happens all too often in LA. There are some “not so nice” areas. What can I say - It take a mighty tough guy to beat up a teenage girl. I bet he went home and bragged to all of his friends. BTW - he did it in front of (maybe) his children. What does that say about how they are going to grow up. I bet we got us some future Baby mama beaters right there.

I hate when people jump in line, that is one of my biggest pet peeves. Good for her for saying something, but unfortunately you really shouldn’t in this day and age. You just never know what someone will do, if they have a gun, etc. Obviously this man is one of those you never knows……What a jackass and sorry, but jackasses also for the people who didn’t step in, she is a teenage girl for goodness sake. Also agree about doing this in front of his possible kids, good lesson to teach them - right. I am getting more and more mad the more I type so ok I’m done. Jerk!

I don’t have an incident of a man hitting a woman, but one time I was working at a fish market (I was 16, and learned what I didn’t want to do with my life) and this guy was being really mean to this other guy’s wife, in front of her kids, on mothers day. Wtf. Anyhoo, the husband told the guy to stop, and he didn’t, and he even got more mean, so the husband got up and knocked out the other guy. Crazy, huh? We let the husband and wife go before the police got there to write a report, and the guy who got knocked out didn’t press any charges.

    What’s the Ruby Tuesday’s story?

And I seriously can’t believe that no one stepped in.. not even the employees! My lord.

The employees didn’t look like they bothered helping either. You’d think the gal at the counter might of said “Scuze me but they were here first”. And neither did they jump to help that poor girl after the assault.

I’d like to hear the Ruby Tuesday story too!

My husband was walking through a park back to his car about 10 years ago and there was this couple arguing. All of a sudden the guy started hitting the girl over and over again, so my husband ran over and just clocked the guy in the head. The guy got knocked out, the police had also witnessed this (there was a festival going on right across from the park), but my husband got there first so when they got over to where this had taken place they arrested the abuser and thanked my husband. Of course the girl was mad that my husband had knocked out her significant other, but hopefully she eventually got out of that abusive relationship. I am on the other hand was really proud of him for not even thinking twice about it and just reacting to help someone.

While I, myself, can’t understand why the hell nobody at least jumped in to restrain the guy from leaving, so the cops could get him. It is, after all, L.A. that horrifying incident is probably all too common there.

I felt bad for that poor little baby standing there in front of her when she got decked, she tried to go to her, then got afraid of the man. I of course, feel horrible for the teenager as well.

    Big man!!

Don’t take this wrong, but wonder what she was saying to him to make him so mad? Teens now days can be so damn mouthy. She certainly didn’t deserve to get hit, but I have had my patience tried by some of them. Alot of them just seem to lack respect anymore. Sigh.

I know exactly what you mean. Some youth are just rude and obnoxious, just to be rude and obnoxious. However, I understand how someone get can mouthy in this situation.

She was at the counter with her niece appearing to be in the process of ordering and he just cut right in, like a total douche bag. Can’t let people walk all over ya.

I hope they catch this guy. Something tells me hitting a 16 year old girl in Mickey D’s is not an isolated incident. Get those kids of his checked on…

As far as people jumping in…ehh, it looked as though it happened very quickly. I can only hope that if he had continued to hit her or worse instead the few quick punches he threw in, that others would have helped.

I feel so bad for the little boy in the red shirt, the one who came in with the assailant. He just looks ashamed and resigned, hanging his head while the man and the girl exchange words. I think he knew what was coming. Poor little guy.

silvahalo..this happens all too often where I live. I too live in Los Angeles & one day I was almost assualted by 4 Homeless men right at the bus stop of a busy street. Not one person stopped to assist, and the bus I was supposed to board, the bus driver did not want to stop. So sadly people are not doing anything when someone is in distress. That, however, will not sway me from calling the police or intervening if I see someone being hurt. This is just a sad statement of the society we live in.

I live in Redondo Beach. I have SCREAMED for help before and no one does shit. NO one wants to get involved for SHIT. They might have to go to court or break a nail or some shit. I am a little more ballsy - I will always get in the middle of shit (shame on me). I wouldn’t stand by and let a little girl get beat up - Even if it meant taking a couple of punches in the process.

Reprasentin’ for Los Angeles!! Wut wut!!!

We saw this on the news this morning too and it almost didn’t surprise me. I mean, we live in a great neighborhood near Beverly Hills and a man was shot on the street today. I think he survived, but damn. As soon as I’m done sewing my wild oats and makin’ some $$$, I’m moving to the ‘burbs. And by that I mean Palos Verdes. It’s damn beautiful there.

Way to set a good example for your little boys, dad. Who wants to bet that he also beats his woman in front of the kids too?

Not only does he hold his head down, he tries to calm the man down after he hit her. That little boy tried to calm him down and then put his arms up defensively. If he is okay hitting a young girl in the middle of McDonald’s what is going on with his kids at home?

Even after I watched the video, I thought no one is helping her too much and why then did not one MAN even the Manager or someone hold himthere until cops showed up, or someone yell ” I amcalling 911 leave her alone” has it gotten so bad in our society that we will not get involved because people are scared too??? That must be it, I AM NOT SCARED to get involved when needed, wether i get beat up trying to help someone or shot or killed, that is me, i will jump right on in and try to help in any way trust me on that i cannot believe the caliber of humans anymore what a shame

For everyone wondering why no one stepped in, it’s called diffusion of responsibility. It’s a documented social pheonominon that occurs in groups. In short, no one does anything because they all assume someone else, perhaps someone more able, will. That’s why they recommend that, if you’re in one of those situations, you designate specific people to get involved. Call them by their names or, if you don’t know their names, point to them and shout commands.

I’m gonna be honest. Had I been there, I probably wouldn’t have stepped in either. I’m not saying he is right and that he should not be punished…but looking at the video, it really is hard to tell who was in line first or not. But regardless, it kinda puts a smile on my face to see some shit talking teenager bite off a bit more than they could chew.

Come one people, you cannot tell me you haven’t been in a situation in which you PRAYED somebody would knock the block off a teenager in public?

Anyway, I’d have helped her up, or broke it up if it went any further than it did, but seriosuly…I keep watching it, and it still puts a smile on my face.

Besides, how do we know the teen didn’t order a combo? *insert rimshot*

It seemed to me that the girls were there first. I would have said something too if the same thing happened to me. Kudos to her for standing up for herself. Although in retrospect it would have been a whole lot less painful to have let him go first. But you can’t let people run over you just because they might get violent. If you did that you might as well lay down and write welcome on your stomach because you’ll get turned into a doormat quick and in a hurry.

Well, Morbid, I must say, I must agree with you. Yes, I’m in the minority, I know. However, with no sound, I can only imagine the words being exchanged, given the things I witnessed around here.

My experience with no one helping out was at the yukky Walmart. I don’t know why I even went there in the first place since most everything is in Spanish, convenience I guess. Hubby was already making is way toward electronics and I was at Customer Service, long line, as usual.

All of a sudden, this huge (tall, morbidly obese woman in spandex) barrels over me, knocking me into the very nice gentleman behind me. All over a KEYCHAIN that they charged her 79 cents and it was supposed to be 49 cents. I couldn’t say a word, probably wouldn’t even if I could have. This lady was HUGE. She could’ve smothered me with her upper arm.

However, the very nice gentleman pushed his son behind him and stood very close behind me. Customer Service employees (all 3 of them) were all over this lady, very nervous, cause, man, she was not only huge but loud. They could do nothing to please her. She wanted a whole new receipt.

We call this the Spanish Walmart (only at home, of course) , knowing this is very not POC (no offense to anyone here at DD). And now that Target is all finished with their real nice remodel, well, everything is cool. If we do have to make a Walmart run, we go across town and go to Costco along the way. Just make a day of it. And hubby gets snacks (gross to me).

But, would you have helped her if she’d been all mouthy? Not that she deserved it by any means, but why in the hell did the employees just stand there? They don’t have 911? Or were they just scared shitless? Maybe afraid he had a weapon of some sort.

Every time some confronty-mouthy teen comes on this site to spread the bull that seems to be their idea of being gangsta, I worry about what could happen when they take this act into the real world. Maybe this video needs to be shown in schools everywhere.

It looks to me as if the two kids are at the counter, Mr. Punchy breezes in, but stops and does something to attract attention to himself from the entire restaurant — what’s that about? Anybody know? Then he disregards the kids and begins to order, and then Mouthy Girl comes up from behind to join the kids. So I guess Mouthy Girl was watching them order or something. I bet most people there thought the two knew each other.

I hope they find this man and take those boys away.

And teens, be warned, it’s easier to impress your friends with your mouthy wannabe-gangsta rants then it is a big, violent guy who wants his burger first.

Who would want to live in a place where people act the way all those people acted? Not me, that’s for sure. Either change the way people act in your part of the world via leading by example, or move somewhere that people are not this callous.

I don’t know about rude but I do have a gross McD’s story to share.

Just last night, I was at a McD’s enjoying my double quarter pounder with cheese. I glanced around the joint and I noticed an older man partially hidden behind a newspaper. Just the top of his head was visible. He was kinda shaking. But the shaking had a rhythm to it. A movement under the table caught my eye. He was chokin’ the chicken. At McDonald’s.

Barely able to contain my laughter, I went and informed the manager while my co-workers went over and had a little talk with the chicken choker. The manager tells me, ‘Yeah. That’s just Heinrich. He’s a regular.’ He didn’t specify whether Heinrich was a regular customer or a regular masterbator. Or a combination of the two. At any rate, the manager didn’t want to come out from behind the safety of the counter to ask the stroker to put his member away. So, my co-workers took care of that. He put it away and left the restaurant, unzipped.

From now on, I’m using the drive-thru.
