Leonard Badenhorst BFT’d His Grandpa

This case is a mess of twists and turns. Badenhorst’s mother, Tammy Novy, told a news source that until late AugustAugust reviews
, she had not seen her son in “about 18 years”. So… since Leonard was four. Where has Leonard Badenhorst been all this time? Foster care? Adopted? I have no idea.
In late August, Leonard and his fiancee, who identifies herself as “Julie Badenhorst” despite not being married to Leonard, “reconnected” with Tammy Novy. And in this family, “reconnect” means “move into your converted school bus on Grandpa’s property.”   Yeah, you heard me. Novy and the Badenhorst Two were living in a school bus in Herschel Fleming’s yard. It looks kinda nifty, though. Check it out:

Leonard Badenhorst called 911 himself on Friday afternoon just before 3:00 p.m. Responders arrived to find Herschel Fleming dead at the scene of what appeared to be a brutal beating. The autopsy, done SaturdaySaturday reviews
, confirmed that Fleming had died of multiple blunt-force traumas to the chest – as though the elderly man had been stomped to death.
Fleming was known around town as a quiet, gentle man who had been lonely since his wife died in 2006. He had told friends that he was afraid of his family and what they might do to him, so there seems to be a reason he had them living rent-free in a school bus instead of in his house.
Leonard himself remains a bit of a mystery, only his MyspaceMySpace pages giving much clue about him. One Myspace page is pretty bare-bones, stating only that Leonard is a 2126-year-old vampire. It hasn’t been touched since 2006. The other Myspace page is more current – his last login was in July. In it, he says he’s a “Pure Blooded Prince of the Dragon Clan.” That is so pathetic it’s almost funny, or sad. Thing is, I get over feeling sorry for people like Leonard the second they stomp Grandpa to death. Call me crazy.
Y’know, denizens, maybe my thirtyhmph age is showing, but really? Must today’s murderous malcontents look like every OTHER murderous malcontent? Nobody really thinks you’re a vampire, Leonard. No 2126 year old man would post such a crappy picture online. If you’re older than Christ and have a Myspace, you are definitely keeping up with advances in technology. You would totally have a way better camera.
Oh, and Leonard? You do NOT look like Johnny Depp.  Oh, I know you think you do, but let me assure you, Len, that Johnny would never wear that tie. Not even for “Benny and Joon”, a movie made before you started first grade. Live in the now, Leonard.  Oh, wait. You can’t. You’re gonna live in jail, instead. Oughta be some improvement over the school bus.
Leonard Badenhorst remains in the Iriquois County Jail awaiting charges and arraignment. As soon as I get more details, you’ll have them.

So sad, poor ole guy already lost his wife, he takes in his grandson and then what does he get for it……stomped to death. Great, just great. He was probably lonely and wanted some company, thought maybe my grandsons not that bad and then realized what a pyscho Leonard was, he tried to call him out, possibly kick him out and bam…..
