Kidnapping Someone At Gunpoint

Abdusbasiyr A. Blake and Javon Strange

Oldsmar, Florida - Three teenagers learn a very valuable lesson in the art of kidnapping when they abducted a man at gunpoint and made him get into the backseat of a car. As they began driving away, one of the kidnappers set his gun down on his lap to send a text message. Hilarity ensued.

Javon Strange, 18, Juan Carlos Morales, 17, and Abdusbasiyr A. Blake, 18, were looking for a man they thought may have some involvement with some stolen coins. They figured that Gregory Longley, 20, would be just the man to take them to him. So outside of a motel, the three pulled up in a 2000 Malibu and abducted Longley at gunpoint, forcing him into the backseat. Strange was sitting beside Longley, Blake was driving and Morales was the front passenger.

Shortly after driving away, Strange decided this would be a perfect time to text someone, and set his gun down on his lap to do so. Longley took advantage of the situation and grabbed the gun, immediately shooting Strange and killing him. He then shot the passenger, Morales, before telling Blake he’d better stop the fucking car and let him out. Which is exactly what Blake did.

Longley immediately used his cell phone to call 911 and informed dispatchers of what just transpired. In the meantime, Blake had threw his gun out the window and drove the wrong way through a nearby McDonald’s drive-thru where patrons called 911 after seeing the wounded occupants. Strange was pronounced dead at the scene, and Morales was taken to St. Josephs’s Hospital for a bullet wound. Both the gun taken from Strange as well as the one thrown out of the window by Blake were recovered.

Blake has now been charged with kidnapping and felony murder, with more charges expected.

    INTRODUCING:
    Duh,duh, and DUH…

I suppose the pic of Strange, with the smirk, was taken prior to him meeting his maker and being informed of his fiery jaunt to hell? ;) couldn’t resist…!

Give Mr. Longely a few medals for ridding the street of some thug-gang-banger-wannabeesss!

Jebus, the phone calls from Hell are bad enough; now we’ll be getting text messages from Hell.

So what are the first 12 situations? As you stand over the patient with the scalpel in your hand? Right after you tell her you love her and get ready to stick it to her? As the priest offers you the wafer? Inquiring minds want to know.

  3. SilliMari says:

    What a dipshit!

“I know we’re in the middle of a serious felony but I got to send a text to my baby mama so just slow yo’ roll for a min’it”

    I was wondering the same….

I bet the driver thought he was next. Can you imagine that lound ass gunfire inside the car and seeing your boys being blown away? Hope he didn’t shit his pants.

Wait……Longley took the gun from Strange & shot Strange & Morales. Blake is being charged with kidnapping & felony murder. Who did he kill?

Confuzd - I iz it. Or did I miss something?

If someone is killed as a result of a crime you are committing, even if you didn’t actually kill the person, you will be charged as if you did.

No different than if Blake had driven Strange to rob a 7-11, and Strange shot the clerk and the clerk died, Blake, along with Strange, can be charged with murder. Also, had Strange actually been shot by the clerk and died…Blake could be charged in Strange’s death.

Most states have laws making you responsible for murder when a felony you’re committing results in the death of others. You commit the kidnapping, your fellow kidnappers get killed as a result, you therefore get charged in their deaths. I’m sure someone can cite the actual statues for this somewhere if anyone is really that interested in how it works.

I’m too fast for you, Castille! One day, when we meet again, things may end differently…perhaps…but for now, I hope that there is no ill-will and that you chalk this up to a learning experience, and not fuel for burning hatred.

@ Castille & Morbid - Ah, I was unaware of that. Thanks!

Now I see clearly - the agonizingly slow load time of the site is really a personal plot to put me at a disadvantage! I shall nurse the burning hate to get me through the day… (it’s cheaper than nicotine and caffeine anyhow.)

Javon, cheers to you my brotha. You are the Darwn Award winner for 2009 in my book. If there is a hell, you are probably one of the dumbest people in there.

Kidnap someone with a gun, and then put it in your lap to intently look at your phone and text someone… (Okay, how do I spell the first word… “You”??? Okay to make a “Y”, that is the number 9 and I hit it 3 times… Okay, now I need the letter “O”… Wow, I just remembered… I kidnapped a guy at gunpoint and I dropped my gun to text someone… Hmmmmmmmm… Where is my gun??? Boy, I hope the guy I kidnapped doesn’t have it pointed at my head, and is cocking the hammer back, and is squeezing the triger… BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

    Stay Classy Dumb People!

    Sincerely,
    Ron

Oooo, a low blow :) If this turns into mud wrestling, I want pics!

Not a low blow…it is an actual astute observation on Castille’s part. And now I will further my advantage by ensuring that Castille is presented with 15 percent more Mortgage Ads with dancing people on them!

    BWUHAHAhahahahah!

But yes, if there is any future mud wrestling, there will be pics.

And I thought it was my computer that was ailing and was contemplating buying a new one. Are you getting commission from IT stores?

  21. Castille says:

Oh nos, not the dancing mortgage ad attack! I am powerless… my ad blocking software only serves to make dial-up look zippy.

You know, I hadn’t thought of that - justifying a total computer overhaul to the other half by demonstrating the load times here. Brilliant.

Ah, yes! But I thought pointing out umm deficiencies to a man was always a low blow ;)

Can’t wait for the pics though. They should get their own thread.

  23. Kdogg says:

I imagine his last text message was to brag to his homies…Nothing like going out with a bang

  24. Abroad says:

Will Longley’s actions under the circumstances be considered justifiable homicide?

I can’t see why not - held at gunpoint, forced into a car… It’d be stupid not to think you were about to be killed.
