Gerald Campbell Shares The Love & The HIV

Gerald Ray Campbell Jr. on dreamindemon.com

If you’ve had sex with this guy, you’re going to be upset in a minute.

Carson City, MI - Gerald Ray Campbell, Jr. is a single white male seeking female affection and companionship. As a recently released, then re-incarcerated prison inmate, he’s looking for a sincere woman who is understanding. Campbell is a giving kind of guy who enjoys tattooing, unprotected sex, and keeping secrets. Big secrets. Secrets like HIV.

Gerald Ray Cambell got out of prison a year ago for pulling an asshat stunt that got him put away for 14 years.  Campbell was 17 when he was charged with assault with intent to commit murder.  Apparently, Campbell got a rifle and was firing into vehicles at random when he hit a man, who was wounded but survived.   Campbell pleaded no contest and was sentenced to prison, which is probably where he contracted HIV.

After his parole in 2007, Campbell decided to live it up a little.  He gave some people tattoos without the proper sterilization, and he became sexually involved with at least two women.  Which would have been fine, but apparently Campbell isn’t a fan of the latex.

Girls, here is where your friendly imp dispenses a little advice:  tell those men to bag it or go home.  I do not care if you looooooovvvve him.  I do not care if he tells you he loves you and he’s a virgin or a widow who only ever hit it with his wife.  Unless you and he are both testing clean and you have a committed, monogamous relationship, wrap it up!  It won’t solve everything, but it’ll help cut down on cases like this, where the operative word seems to be “oops”.  And if he won’t wear a condom, he doesn’t love you enough to care if you’re protected, and you don’t need to be banging him anyway.

Campbell didn’t love either of his girlfriends enough to tell them anything.  He was re-arrested on a parole violation, at which time the penal system in Michigan was informed of his HIV-positive status.  Both women got letters from the state advising them to go get checked out, and both women got pretty upset at having been exposed repeatedly to the virus that causes AIDS.

Michigan has a state law dating from 1988 that makes it a crime for an HIV-positive person to have sex without disclosure of his or her condition.  I like that law.  It doesn’t prohibit sexual activity, but it is designed to make sure that people say something and hopefully take safety precautions to keep from transmitting the disease.

Campbell has been charged with four counts of violating that law.  One of his girlfriends has so far tested negative, but has only been tested once - it can take up to six months for the virus to reach detectable levels. The other woman is still waiting for her initial test results.

Campbell has admitted that he knew he was HIV positive, but maintains that he might have mentioned his condition.   Both women call bullshit and said they probably would have remembered the “Honey, we need to talk about my HIV” discussion.

Gerald Ray Campbell Jr. is charged with four counts of violating Michigan’s AIDS Disclosure Law.  He is facing up to six years in prison for each count.  Police are asking anyone who has had unprotected sex with Campbell to be tested for HIV and to call the Carson City Police Department at (989) 584-3515.

TheMorningStar is talking about this case in our forums - thanks!

Real nice guy, eh? My best friend’s mother has AIDS now. She got it from a boyfriend during 1990 to 1993. She had been married for umpteen years to my best friend’s father and when they divorced she met a real nice guy a couple years later. They eventually moved in together and it was bliss.

Rick is his name. One day Rick wasn’t feeling so good…coughing, sores, exhaustion….it got worse. Rick couldn’t work anymore but not because he was “sick”, oh no…it was various other reasons. Believe me, he had plenty of them. And then one day, out of the blue, he tells all of us he has a 4 year old daughter he’s never seen. Wow!

So the next thing you know Rick has this child with him and he’s doing Daddy Disneyland. We all love little kids so we joined in the fun and kissed and loved this little baby up. We even told Rick how blessed he was to find out about her.

At the end of the week with his daughter Rick announces he’s going back to Virginia to see his mother and to find out about a “good job” that is waiting for him. He tells my best friend’s mother there is no need for a phone number or address to be given to her since he’s “gonna be right back” after finding them a new home and a new start in life.

We never saw Rick again. And five years later, Labor Day weekend of 1998, my best friend’s mother found out she had HIV.

The doctors were able to tell her eventually about how long prior she had conracted it.

Yep. Rick gave it to her. All those sores and tiredness and seeing his daughter and the disappearance began to make perfect sense.

With a little research we found out he had died about 6 months after arriving at his mother’s house. He never even sent a note. Nothing.

If he had been alive we were hell bent on pressing charges.

I had known my husband for 15 years when we started dating. First on the agenda was STD and HIV testing. After we were both found clean, then we had “the fun times”. You can’t take this crap too seriously!

Thanks for the slap in the face Imp. Facing the single life again, I have to be reminded that this is out there. Ugh.
Just by looking at the guy, I would never guess..or even be suspicious. It goes to show you, it can be anyone.

    Be safe!!

Sillimari, that is a very sad story. How is your friends mother doing? I hope she is fine. That must have been hard for her to deal with. What a jerk. I think people who know they have AIDS and go around having unprotected sex and not informing the person they are having sex with about their condition, should be charged with murder (if that person actually contracts the virus). If they don’t get the virus, the person should still be charged with attempted murder.

Where’s Athena? Athena, tell us about the children who get it because of the HIV-positive guys who think fucking a virgin will cure them. Talk about sad.

Ugh! Mt stupuid ass Dad gave my step-mom Hep and she passed it on to my little brother while she was pregnant. My Dad couldn’t keep it in his pants - So even a hubby can give you icky crud (Scary)… My step-mom never knew he was a cheating dirtbag - Worse - that he was hitting it with flat out dirty skanks (until it was too late). He was too stupid to think that he could be infecting his child!! Never mind his wife! My little bro was 10 before she found out my Dad had it. He was tested because of an illness. Once his test cam back positive she was tesed. She tested positive and had my brothers both tested. One tested negative and the youngest tested positive. So she knew the time frame that he had given her the gift that keeps on giving. BLEH!

Well, clearly she’s back from the shell pink twinset store, which is surely where she got that lovely pearl necklace. Duh.

  12. Reputable says:

AIDS isn’t the only STD we need to be aware of because not even kissing is safe anymore:

    Contagious cancers
Scientists are only beginning to discover the hidden role of some viruses and bacteria

Not until four years later did Hill get an explanation for his brush with death: a microbe called human papilloma virus-16 had apparently moved into his tonsils, gradually turning normal cells into cancer. Hill, now 59, had become part of a wave of relatively young nonsmokers who contracted oral cancer from the sexually transmitted virus, fueling an overall increase in new cases.

  13. Castille says:

You know what? I think these ladies might have been aware that Mr. Campbell had been incarcerated for the last decade - and if they were having unprotected sex with a man they’d known to have recently spent time in prison in the absence of HIV testing - well, one hopes they have some smattering of sense in other areas of their lives.

  14. mousygirl says:

what a fucker. they should take his expensive hiv meds away and give them to someone deserving.

She’s got AIDS now. Its heartbreaking. None of us will ever know if her boyfriend Rick knew before or just after. Either way, he never said a word and for that we curse him to hell.

First person says (whines): “But it won’t work if I have to wear a condom.”

Second person says: “Yeah? That’s fine, since you won’t need a condom to wack off at home after I kick your a** out, dipshit.”
