Monica Boggs Has A Wicked Pitch

Martinsburg, WV - Monica Wyonna Boggs turned 19 on August 20. Her son, Skylar Trigg Boggs, would have been eight months old on August 27, except now he won’t. On Tuesday, Monica Boggs killed her infant son. First she threw baby Skylar into his crib. Then she threw a baby bottle at him, hitting her baby with a wicked pitch to the face.Â
At about 9:20 on Tuesday evening, 911 was called from Boggs’ home because Skylar wasn’t breathing. He was taken to the hospital, but rescusitation efforts were unsuccessful. Skylar Trigg Boggs was pronounced dead at 10:09 p.m. He was seven months and three weeks old.
Initially, Monica Boggs said that Skylar hadn’t been feeling well for a few days. She told investigators that she had put the baby into his crib about 6:00 Tuesday evening and that she had checked on him after that and he had seemed fine until the 9:20 check. She said that family members had tried CPR on Skylar, but it wasn’t working, so she called 911.
Problem with Monica’s story was the dark, fresh bruise above Skylar’s left eye. Investigators called bullshit and told Monica that CPR does not cause facial bruising. After some questioning on Wednesday and Thursday, Monica Boggs caved and confessed to losing her temper. She’d thrown Skylar into his crib with enough force to bounce his head off the back of the crib. Then she grabbed his baby bottle and hurled it into the crib at her son, hitting him hard in the face.
Monica’s Myspace page is a veritable treasure trove of idiocy. Her header says “Muh 2 most important boiz in dis world is muh son Skylar Trigg n muh fiancee Rob.” She appears to spill her life story in a few poorly written paragraphs. I can’t tell whether Rob was living with Monica - she appeared to be living with family.  So where was Rob while Skylar was dying? Where was anyone? Was nobody in the house aware that Monica was prone to explosive fits of anger?
Monica Boggs is charged with the murder of a child by a parent and child abuse resulting in injury. She is being held without bond at the Eastern Regional Jail.

Meh I think I will judge her as I please.. as her myspace page is a direct reflection of her!…She killed her baby!!! frig what more do we need to know to judge her.. I dont think judging her family will accomplish anything…but judgeing her fat ass makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I don’t think Smile was defending Monica. I think that comment was more about Rob, the father. If Rob wasn’t there to intervene, he’s guilty of nothing more than making bad choices when it comes to women. God knows, I didn’t always make the best choices in men when I was young.
I’m terribly sorry for what he’s going through Smile, if he’s your friend/family, which it sounds like he is. I can only imagine how much pain he must feel over losing Skylar and at the hands of a woman who claimed to love them both, no less.
But as far as I’m concerned, Monica deserves everything she gets and more. People who kill children should have their baby-making parts removed with a dirty hanger. They are the scum of the Earth.
I have 5 children. They are 15, 14, 11, 3 1/2 and 8 months. I KNOW what it is like when your baby starts to cry and WONT STOP!! I also KNOW HOW to WALK AWAY from my baby when this happens!!! There is NEVER EVER an ‘excuse’ for NOT walking AWAY from a crying baby!! I have YET to read/hear about a baby who died from crying too long!!! This person (sorry–she is NOT a mom in my eyes, because a mom does NOT KILL HER BABY!!!) should be STERILIZED so she CANNOT EVER harm another baby ever again!!! She WILL get it sooner or later–hope she likes Karma!!! RIP Skylar-atleast now you will NEVER feel pain ever again.
