And wtf is up with the husband? Did he just not care or maybe he was afraid of his own son? Ah, I don’t care if he was. He should have gotten a gun and told his ’son’ you are not going to treat my wife like that.

I’m going to give a perspective on this story that I am sure isn’t going to be popular with many of the other bloggers here… Here goes.

ScotchyScotch, after reading he story for the first time I got to the end and thought “stupid wankers-fucking egits-rot in hell for abusing your mother”. Then I read your opinion and now I’m thinking she was like Clint Eastwoods mother in Every Which Way But Loose. Tobacco spitting, cursing, middle finger pointing and all that!

Either way they should not have treated her the way they did.

How come every time I saw the word beast in this story I read breast?

I don’t know, but it makes the story much funnier. Reminds me of the giant breast in the Woody Allen film. Only the two breasts in this story are only about six-foot high and when they get really indignant, they squirt milk on themselves and the police officers. The officers politely wipe their faces, nod sympathetically, and ask another question.

Example,

….On Monday evening, police were called to a verbal domestic dispute at the home between her and both breasts……

Or,

….Some time after the police left, both breasts allegedly told the woman she was no longer welcome there. Junior breast, Edward, who fancies himself the master of the domain, evicted his mother. At which time the elder breast, Howard, promptly loaded her into the car and drove to the police station.

See what I mean?? The elder breast was driving a car? The junior breast handing out the walking papers?

Anyway, terrible thing to be old and disabled and booted out on the streets. Assmunchers!!

Many families are disfuntional and some are HORRIBLY DISFUNCTIONAL. From looking at the pictures of pops and sonny boy (no shirt on), they don’t look like the wine and cheese crowd at their local country club. So, if I was to guess I would tend to think this is one seriously messed up family. Total train wreck.

In my opinion, based on the comments so far, everyone is thinking that Ma is just the sweetest old bird in the whole world who happens to be disabled and these two “beasts” are the worst two human beings on the planet… Maybe we base this assumption on the snippet that a neighbor said that the old lady complained to them that father and son were mean to her. I have seen my share of disfunctional families, and it is common for family members to complain to anyone who might give them support – even when they are equally to blame for their situation and are equally as nasty to the others they complain about.

May I suggest that it is possible that Mommy might be the nastiest, cruelest most nightmarish mom on the block? If that is true, maybe Pops and sonny boy want her out of their life? Would it be worse if they just bailed and moved away?

I am not trying to justify here that they did the right thing. These two guys appear to be scumbags. But, there usually are two sides to every story. And, I ask you to please reply considering that what I am suggesting might be true -that she might be a nightmare to deal with. They clearly do not look like they have the money to put mom in a home, so what alternatives to they have? Trying to get her in a state-run home seems like the proper alternative.

I guess the bottom line with me here is that this story doesn’t seem so bad. It doesn’t look like the beat her, tortured her, etc… It looks like a disfunctional and probably uneducated family where two out of the three voted one of them out of the family. I would be surprised if the cops endangerment charges stick. Pop dropped her off at the police station – not the middle of forest.

Just a side comment, I like how one man is wearing an awesomely lame t-shirt and the other is shirt-less. Maybe that’s the only shirt in the house and it was dad’s turn.

Sons who disrespect their mothers in this way are usually raised badly. Whether Mom coddled him and allowed him to walk all over her since day 1, or whether he learned how to disrespect Mommy by watching Daddy, that woman should have left this situation long before she became disabled.

If she had, maybe her son would have turned out a better human.

Either way, it is a pity isn’t it?
