Brandi Jo Peterson Neglects Baby, Assaults Cop

Mankato, MN - I don’t know what Brandi Jo Peterson was drinking last Thursday, but the bartender should have cut her off sooner. When she fell down in the parking lot, two acquaintances took her home - and found that her nine month old baby was already there. Alone.Â
Peterson, 26, got so hammered that she stumbled out into the parking lot of a Mankato bar shortly before 10:00 p.m. She’d been drinking for at least an hour, and probably for much longer, when she fell into the parking lot. Two nice people saw Drunk Brandi and gave her a ride home. When they got to her apartment, the door was standing open and Brandi Jo’s nine-month-old baby girl, Mahrya, was in the apartment alone and crying.
Peterson told the couple that she thought she’d left a babysitter around there somewhere. But when the two helpful, responsible adults saw that no babysitter was in fact present, they called the police. During that time, Peterson made a phone call or two of her own, and the couple stayed to care for the baby.
Once officers got to Peterson’s home, Brandi Jo became cranky and upset. While one officer was questioning her, a friend of Peterson’s arrived and tried to tell police that she was the babysitter, but she was also visibly intoxicated. After blowing a .32, four times the legal limit, that woman got a trip to detox for her trouble.
Then the fun really began.  When two officers started to take baby Mahrya out of the home, Brandi Jo got pissed. Officer Steve Hoppe took Peterson to a couch and told her to sit down. As he started to walk away, Drunk Brandi attacked the officer, punching him square in the nuts and hitting him in the arm.  As Officer Hoppe was taking her down to the floor, she also kicked him in the knee. Officer Hoppe showed admirable restraint and did not clock the bitch, but handcuffed her instead.
“After handcuffing Peterson, Officer Hoppe was speaking with Cmdr. (Pam) Hermanson when he felt a sharp pain to the rear of his right ankle. Officer Hoppe looked down and observed Peterson biting his ankle,†saiys the police report.
Peterson did not chill out immediately. At the jail, she got to wear the spit mask because she was screaming and lunging and spitting at officers. She also earned a trip to detox for being all drunk and disorderly.
Brandi Jo Peterson was charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer, and one count each of child neglect and child endangerment. She remains in the Blue Earth County Jail in lieu of $500 bond with conditions, or $10,000 bond without conditions.

How can anyone get so drunk that biting a police officer’s ankle seems like a good move? I’m trying to imagine myself lying on my dirty (doubtless) carpet, the room spinning, that aggravating police officer standing there doing some crap with paperwork and talking shit about me and my babysitting friend, and suddenly in my mind grows the answer, “Bite the fucker’s ankle. He’ll be hobbing around for a week and that will be my fine revenge.” Wiggle, wiggle, quietly and slyly wiggle, wiggle, then — CHOMP!
Other than the poor baby being left alone (God willing the skank never gets her back) I had to laugh, ecspeically at Wry’s post!
Thank God for the “responsible couple” that called police, we need lots more people like them…..
Another breeder who should have her twat sewn up. I have a nine month old and could not imagine leaving her alone, abandoned to cry and fend for herself while I went and got pissed at the local bar. The mindset of these douchebags who do shit like this never fails to astound me. I hope she get LOTS of jailtime and that baby gets parents who will love and cherish her the way she deserves to be.

I think if I’m not mistaken, it was the friend who came over after police arrived, claiming she was the babysitter, that blew the .32. The crazy mom was probably just a drunk though….wow .32!!! That a lot of booze!
We’ll let one of those female genital mutilators in Africa do it with a broken piece of glass or rusty razor blades. Sometimes the young girls have to be cut open to let their husband’s penis get inside. Here I go getting on a soap box again, but I can’t help it. It is a shame that just any one can have a child. You need to learn how to drive, and take tests before you legally can, but all you need to do to have a child is get pregnant. People like this b—- should have the child taken away, and never be allowed to have kids again. If you have to leave your baby for whatever reasons, you NEVER leave the baby alone. You get a sitter, or take the child with you.
If you have a child you have to give up a lot, and grow up youself. That child HAS to take first place before everything else, including your own pleasures. Getting drunk is not a RIGHT guaranteed by our government. Abandoning your baby to go get drunk is not raising your child, it is abusing your child.
It would be better to take this child away and give it to a loving home that has been investigated to make sure that this won’t happen again. What will happen if this mother gets her baby back? Will she abandone the baby to get drunk again, or go out on dates? What happens if she meets someone, will she even remember that she has a kid at home? If the child gets taken away due to neglect, someone should make sure that the child is not forgotten in the system, as so many children have been. It would be better to remove the child now and make her mother prove she is willing to give up alchol, than give the child back. Too many babies end up dead because mommy cares more for herself and her own greedy pleasures than that of her child.
I think of all the people who want a baby, or have lost a baby and are trying to have another, and then you hear about a bitch like this who have them and abondone them to go get drunk, and you just want to Bitch-slap them. At least she didn’t kill the baby.
