There was an order for competency evalutation and a docket entry of "ORDER FOR NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF INSANITY EVALUATION" so looks like that is her defense.The final pretrial is scheduled for 8/27. Her family owns several businesses in Talladega to include a very profitable retail shoe store HighField shoes. Her family has tried several times to get her off the drugs and living the "good clean life". She moved to Florida to start over cause Talladega is a small gossiping Town and her name was severely Tarnished Holly has had sex with atleas 350-400 men for money and countless others for casual oral sex. I hate she turned out like this. I really do. I went to school with this girl and have been invloved with her sexually several times. They seemed very "normal" to me and I knew them basically my whole life. I will say that after about 7th grade I didn't have much insight into her parents life and what not (if they were weird) and I knew them only as a friend would know someone's parents (I was a kid). I heard that her father really had a major struggle dealing with his girls and ended up an alcoholic. I also heard that he now works in Florida (I won't mention where). Maybe thats why Holly was in Florida?? Unfortunately, I'm afraid that this could be the final nail in the coffin for Holly. I just can't make my mind completely wrap around what Holly has turned out to be. I really think if I saw her today I would have to ask her flat out, what happened? I mean I can understand getting wild and making mistakes, even experimenting with drugs, but to completely give up on everything that your life was going to be. Would she do it different if she could go back? Most people that start down the path of shame try to pretend that they are still what they once were. They get embarrassed if they see somebody they knew from their "glory" days. From what I understand, she just turned into a different person.....no shame, no feelings, no remorse. I was actually in the same class as her older sister, Laura. My Grandmother lived on the same street as her family. So bizarre how both of these girls have turned out. From what I hear, Laura is currently living a life of drugs and turning tricks for $40 a pop. It's very strange that I remember her parents as "bible beaters" and for being quite odd. We were all wild because there was nothing to do in Talladega, AL.... but those girls were "extra" wild. I remember them having explosive arguments with their parents over things they would get caught doing or lying about. What Michael Jordan says is true...they fell out of the "in" crowd along the way and I lost touch with them. After that, every time I EVER had a run-in with one of them it was incredibly bizarre. She got hooked up with the wrong crowd at about 15 - 16 yrs old. She started drinking and experimenting with drugs, etc. Within about 1 year and a half she had pretty much disappeared from the crowd she had once thrived in (mostly white popular middle to upper class people). She was a very popular girl for a long time. I have prayed for her often. I hated to see this. Sad......... I am new to this forum/site.
